I have a 2001 Toyota RAV4 that I have owned since I bought it new. It's my husband and my go to car to run around. I had always taken it to Toyota for service since I bought it. Well up until I got the price for the 120,000 mile service. Now it's over 144,000 miles and I knew it was time to find someone I trusted to service it. I had met the Patterson's when they were buying the property. They had always been amazing to work with. So I took it there from Windsor. Talk about thorough. Jamie did a head to toe inspection and broke the inspection down on what was truly needed and what could wait. They know the car is older but made sure it was going to be safe. Jen, went over everything with us and what we were charged for. We are so happy we took it there and feel like I have a new safe car. They even got rid of a rattle that drove us crazy but no one could find.

If you need metal fabrication work done, Jayme's your guy!

Good honest people. I will be bringing my truck here for all service in the future. I like what they did with that building also.

Stated they could check it and if able to repair they could do it while I wait. Unfortunately, at that time I had somewhere I needed to be so he put more air in the tire and overfilled it Just a tad to get me over the next couple days and told me to keep an eye on the pressure. I did what he said and came back in two days and sure enough, there was a nail in the tire and they were able to repair it with a plug. I was on my way in about 20 minutes and it cost about $27 which I thought was fair and worth it, until it's time for me to buy new tires. 3 weeks later (at the time of this review) tire pressure is still holding at the correct pressure. Everyone was super friendly, even though they were super busy. I love local, family businesses and will use them every time.

Nail in my tire was patched up in less than 30. Nice comfy waiting room where I plugged my laptop in and worked. They also have a nice seating area outside too. Didn't really get to do much work, but didn't mind the speedy service at all. Thanks Todd and staff for being so solid. Great value and professionalism! I'll be a customer for life here.

K-tech was tasked with getting the car back in top running order. The car had never been smogged which became a challenge that K-tech expertly navigated. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Starting from the beginning, the first time I took my Mercedes to K Tech (an automotive company not…read morespecializing in Mercedes, to be noted) resulted in $5k worth of repairs and maintenance fees. I thought it's a 10-year-old car with around 140,000 miles on it, so it makes sense for it to need quite a bit of maintenance. However, what doesn't make sense, is why 3 months later, I took the car in for an oil change (which they called to remind me to do, and then a day after they called, I received a "check engine oil" light), and proceeded to tell me that my car has a major oil leak and that the engine is damaged? After that, I took my car back and within a few days, the engine failed for good. After reading how many 1-star reviews there are, I have lost any confidence and faith in K-Tech. Why didn't they catch the oil leak just a few months prior? If it started after getting the car repaired, why did it get as bad as it did and break down so quickly immediately after taking it to K Tech again? If the engine was truly leaking oil for the 3-4 months after spending $5k on repairs, wouldn't it have leaked all of the oil and broken down much sooner? Is it a coincidence that right after they called to remind us to do an oil change, my car started alerting me that there was an issue with the oil/engine? Why would my car develop a severe oil leak soon after spending $5,000 on various repairs? Is 140,000 miles in 10 years a reasonable number for a car to begin breaking down just because it's old, especially after spending so much on repairs? I doubt it. Is it a stretch to consider that all of this may have been incredibly deliberate, especially considering how many reviews are from other customers and even other mechanics who are convinced of the same? Even if the damage the car accrued wasn't due to intentional malice, could all of this have been prevented if they chose not to accept work for a car they did not specialize in? Just a few thoughts. Maybe this resonates with someone else.

Did great work, was a very good communicator, and literally worked over a holiday so I could get my daily driver back. So nice to work with kind, local people! I needed new cylinders on all four brakes, so it wasn't an inexpensive repair, but I felt the pricing was fair and the work quality excellent. Typically a mechanic will call you and tell you what repair is needed before doing the work. Instead of calling me the owner went ahead and made $300 in repairs to replace a single sensor located in a very easy to get to part of the engine. I could have replaced that sensor myself in 5 minutes. He never called me and refused to budge on the price of the repair even when I pointed out that running a diagnostic and replacing a sensor doesn't take 1.5 hours. He also topped off all my fluids in my car without my permission and charged me $21 for just that. It's unfortunate because i planned to take my VW back there for more work in a few weeks but now I can't trust them.
