They have been taking care of my cars for years. They are Amazing beyond any shop I have ever used!

We recently had our 2024 CRV serviced with Empire Too and we couldn't be happier! They were less than half the price of the dealer and even tried to talk me out of some of the work saying it wasn't really needed yet but their prices were so good I went ahead with all the work honda recommends just to keep up the car as best as I can. I went here from a personal recommendation from a friend who's family has been going to them for many many years. It is hard for me to trust a mechanic and I plan on keeping our service business with them for many years. read more

Empire Too was recommended to me by friends. My wife and I have been taking our Prius and SUBARU FORESTER (both about 10 years old.) for about 3 to 4 years now service has been excellent & extremely reliable. Communication about our cars has been clearly explained. Cost of service very fair. Highly recommend Empire Too. Also, when my daughter was looking for a new car, Kyle spent a fair amount of time with me explaining options in my daughter's price range. Was really appreciated. Jerry T read more

They are so caring and do such a good job and always have your car ready when they say it will be. They thank you for bringing in your car!! read more

I recently moved to Santa Rosa with my "new to me" Mazda CX3. A friend recommended Empire Too. I took my car in for an oil change and regular maintenance. It was a little pricey for an oil change but I wanted them to check the car out. WOW! They checked soooo much. This was my first service on this used car and I'm very relieved with what they checked and the condition of my car. They also are very generous with helping between services. "Call us anytime. Stop in." I've had enormous change/loss in my life in the last 12 months. I feel like I've found a resource I can count on. It's very reassuring to work with people you like and trust. Thanks, Guys! read more

Empire Too takes very good care of my car and me. Kyle and Jake keep things moving and they are 100% reliable and efficient, and they are quite reasonable. Excellent mechanics that communicate effectively. Couldn't be more pleased. read more

Far and away the best mechanic I've done business with. Honesty, integrity, quality work, and a clear commitment to customer service. Everyone there is on top of it. I'm a big fan of older Toyotas and they've worked on every one. Empire Too sets the standard for quality and trustworthiness. Thank you!! read more

I've been taking my cars to Empire Too for years--they are simply the best. Honest, patient, kind, and considerate, they always take the time to understand your needs. Jake, Ben, and Kyle go above and beyond. I couldn't ask for more. They even took the time to help a friend locate a cable in their new truck. Truly exceptional service. read more

as stated earlier I felt upset as they were not willing to spend 10 mins over a two week period on the phone with me i'd been with them for years just called to get a quote was told they did not appreciate me simply stating what happened and would not help me seemed very thin skinned and wrong too me I was half expecting a apology from them over the way I was treated which would have been great but they did the exact opposite and said don't come back here don't you peeps think 5 mins of phone time is reasonable to expect from your car mechanic who charges more than a friggin doctor? I was kind of stunned both initially at the rudeness and then again today, must be nice to be busy enuf that when a years loyal customer states a honest complaint they are told do not come back guess they're losing their soul ah Dan where r u?? read more

I can never say enough about Jake, Ben, and Kyle! These guys are the best of the best! They always take the time and explain everything they do with care, that you know is really from the heart! Professionals in their craft! Thankful to have them taking care of our vehicles! read more

I have been taking my cars to them since I had my very first car 22 years ago and my family has been going there for 30+ years. They are the reason why I will never own anything but a Japanese made car. Hands down the BEST customer service, work quality, and prices you can find anywhere. They take the time to tell you exactly what is going on with your car and why certain repairs need to be made, or how they can remedy a situation for less cost to you. They always show you the parts they had to replace when they're done to demonstrate exactly why it needed replacing. And they always ask you if you want something fixed or worked on before they do the work as a way to minimize the cost to you (like if they notice something isn't working properly or if a certain repair is going to be costly). Jake, Ben and Kyle truly are carrying on Dan's legacy and I couldn't be a more proud customer. I always recommend them to others because their service cannot be beat! read more

These guys are great. Friendly and trustworthy service. I have been taking both my cars here for a few years based on a recommendation by my neighbor who have been taking their cars for over 10 years. Very happy with service and reasonably priced for repairs. read more

I've been taking m cars to Empire Too since the early 90's. They have never failed to keep my car running at their peak performance. Customer service is the best and very informative on all the repairs. This is real business ethics to me, quality service and friendliness. read more

This is my go-to mechanic! They're reliable, kind, and have done great work on my Prius. I had some car trouble, and they were able to squeeze me in, even though they were down a technician. They've done spectacular work, and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! I'd give them 6/5 stars if I could! read more

My wife and I have brought multiple cars here over the past decade. Their services are almost always less expensive than other shops. They always show us any parts that have been replaced, and explain everything in a way that a non-mechanic can understand. read more

I've been taking my cars to Empire Too for 30+ years, and I've never had a bad experience. I've recommended it highly to any friend or family member who has a Japanese car and will continue to do so. Dan retired recently, and that leaves a huge hole for me personally, but the sons and other guys who have been working there for years are carrying along the tradition of honest, friendly customer service and superior car repair. read more

The most honest and reliable mechanic shop imaginable. I am always suprised at how reasonable the prices are and they always are going above and beyond. My family has taken all of our cars here forever (25+ years). We wouldn't buy a car that we couldn't take to Empire Too. I still bring my old car up from the East Bay for service just because they are so good at keeping old cars running smoothly and I absolutely trust them. If you find a mechanic you can trust this much, you never go anywhere else. read more

Hands down the most honest automotive shop I've had the pleasure to work with. First class service. Very reasonable rates.

We have gone to Empire Too since it first opened. Around 40 years later, we still take all our cars and our truck in on schedule. Everyone who works there is a top notch mechanic, friendly, and willing to explain whatever your car needs and to discuss costs. We count on their total honesty and appropriate pricing - we never have felt overcharged. If a car has an emergency problem, they do their best to see it quickly - otherwise it is best to schedule ahead as they are busy. Because we do regular services there, our cars seldom have problems - it is GREAT to take our cars to a garage like this! Thank you, Dan and the rest of the Empire Too family! read more

I came here on a recommendation, and I am doing everyone a favor by passing it on. Service and quality that stand out. This is one of the rare shops that actually thinks when they are working, and if they see something wrong, will keep you in the loop. Most shops hit a snag, stop working, and only tell you when you pick it up. Dan and his crew run a clean, honest shop and will explain everything to you. I've never seen mechanics so passionate about their work, and caring about the cars they work on. Male or female, you will be treated the same, and you'll understand why people have been taking their car there for years. read more

17 Jan There are four important people in my life... My mechanic, my hairdresser, doctor, & optometrist~ My mechanic: Empire Too Is the BEST BEST automotive repair shop in the whole Bay Area! I've been a client for about 5yrs, and wouldn't go anywhere else! They are the BEST! As a female client, I must say they know how to talk to women vs. talking down to women about auto stuff. I've been to other shops and they've talk to me like I had know brains. I know a lot about autos and at this shop you're treated with respect by people who know what they are doing and can explain it in a great way. My car loves you! read more

We continue to be very happy customers of Empire Too. When we were able to buy a new car in 2017, we deliberately purchased a Honda so that we could continue to benefit from Empire Too's excellent services. When we moved to Napa in mid-2019, we decided there is no reason to change shops because it is worth it to travel a bit to get high quality vehicle service from a trusted establishment (and we would hate to never see the guys at Empire Too again). Our 2007 Toyota is still functioning excellently even as the plastic bits within the car disintegrate. Three key reasons that we will continue to frequent this wonderful shop: 1) Great vehicle care at excellent prices; 2) Top notch communication which builds trust; from the time we schedule the appointment, to when the vehicle is being serviced, and then when we go to pick it up, we feel informed every step of the way; and 3) Genuinely nice people who are warm and caring while also clearly focused on providing an excellent service. These guys have set a new bar. read more

Hello, I've been going to Dan at Empire Too for 17 years. I first went to him because I had a Mazda RX7 and he was a rotary engine specialist. I was a young female who knew nothing about the car. Dan always saved the parts, only did necessary repairs and even let me pay in installments when the car needed more work than I could afford!! I long ago sold my Mazda, but literally didn't purchase a BMW or Mercedes because he doesn't work on them. He services our Lexus's regularly and I can't recommend him highly enough. Not to mention ALL the guys who work for him and his sweet wife, Emily. Thanks Dan! Adrianna Kalember read more

I love these guys - I never thought I'd post a review about mechanics, but they deserve it! They are super friendly, reasonably priced, and fast. Sometimes they are completely booked, but still let me drop my car off and try to fit it into their schedule. My story: I brought my car to them with a problem that I turned out having to take to a Toyota specialist to get fixed. They tried to fix it twice and in the end apologized that they couldn't fix it. They gave me credit for the cost of the first visit, didn't charge me anything for the second visit, and provided me with a great reference to get the problem fixed. Thank you Empire Too!!! read more

This shop is great! Just got my Lexus back and they did a great job. Jake communicated well, they did a thorough inspection, and charged a reasonable rate for changing my transmission fluid and a few other things. They did what they said they would do, communicated well, and charged a fair price. read more

Dan is the BEST ! ..I couldn't survive without him. Prices are great. However the most important thing is his honesty and caring. I have had a Honda and a Toyota that both went over 300,000 miles due to Dan ! I have been using his service for 17+ plus years. He is the best mechanic and I have used Manly Honda, Freeman Toyota, Nissan, Prestiage VW/BMW and 1 out of Healdsburg....no one comes close. Just Amazing Amazing Service ! Joann read more

I was also told when I called that this shop is so busy with existing customers that they are not accepting any new ones - which I considered confirmation of how good they are. They did refer me to Brian Faulconer, one of their mechanics who opened his own shop, ACE automotive in Rohnert Park: http://www.yelp.com/biz/a-c-e-automotive-rohnert-park He's busy (usually booked a week or two out) but I've been delighted with his work and his honesty - I recommend him to anyone who can't get seen at Empire Too. read more
