Such a great experience! I had been told by another oil change company that I needed new rotors on my brakes. Plus, I had backed up into something and wanted them to check my muffler. They were friendly and honest! Said that I didn't really need my rotors replaced. And they referred me down the street to Johnny's Muffler, which was also a good and welcoming experience. I've been bringing my car here for years. Generally, just for tune-ups, but occasionally for a few other oddball items. My last issue had to do with my car not starting. It turned out to be the key fob. Luckily, I had a back-up fob. They were able to squeeze me in that day and very helpfully drove out to pick up the back-up fob and then delivered my car back to me, so I could avoid hiring an uber. (Normally, I don't have much trouble getting rides, but that day happened to be problematic for my pals.) Also, they barely charged me! I had a great experience at Ultimate Auto. I needed an official brake and light inspection for the DMV and they squeezed me in the very same day. I did indeed make it easy for them by having all four pads and rotors done (car needed it) and pre-checking all lights worked. Easy for the shop and the shop made it easy for me, I was in and out in no time and down to the DMV for my plates. Win/win! I'd highly recommend them for anyone looking for the same. My Honda CRV developed a bad and dangerous vibration and judder under acceleration. Almost got into an accident because of it. Had heard Ultimate Auto Care did nice work and after reading the stellar reviews on Yelp decided to bring the CRV to them. Eric and Nick listened to what I described and said they would find the problem. After a full day of tinkering and investigation they found the cause and a software update was needed as Honda had issued a service bulletin describing the issue and the solution. Eric printed out the entire service bulletin and told me to have Manly Honda honor the service bulletin. Eric and Nick spent the entire day with my car, found the problem and solution and didn't want to accept payment! I could not let that happen and from that day on my vehicle (and my wife's) will only get serviced at Ultimate Auto Care. Eric, Nick and team go above and beyond great customer service and you can fully trust them with your vehicle. The Check Engine light in my old 300,000-mileage Prius came on, and I called a half-dozen shops at noon on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving with very little hope of finding a place to go to last-minute. Genuine guys. Had my car checked out here before buying and felt they were great. A year later we got a check engine light about the air sensor and sent my husband back. They had it diagnosed, fixed and out in a day. Super quick and decent price. Not the cheapest but you pay for quality and skill. This is the only place we go. Saying that, definitely a basic garage. WOW. These guys just saved me about $1000 over the shop down the road in work that didn't need to be done. Last week I dropped the passenger rear wheel off a steep embankment and not long afterwards started to get a quickly progressing wobble that turned into a vibration and then a thunk. Sounded like a wheel bearing to me, and the first shop I took it to was all too happy to sell me that, plus recommend that i do the other side too since, "if one is going, its likely that the other side will too. oh, and looks like you have a shorn off post and two missing lug nuts. That'll be $1008.13" That was too much to swallow without shopping around. They balanced out the remaining 3 lug nuts and tightened them down before returning the vehicle to me. The guy at the front desk was a little nervous to mention that all of the symptoms that the car had come in with had gone away when he balanced and tightened the lug nuts... sure enough, I drove away and the car felt completely normal. The next morning I bring it in to Ultimate Auto Care, where Eric and Nick had quoted me $600 to do the same work as the other shop, but that I really only needed to do the side that was causing problems, $300. When I got here this morning, I told him the story about the other shop, they took it for a test drive, and came back to tell me, "Your wheel bearings are fine. Just a couple of lug nuts and the stud, parts and labor will be $74." Honest mechanics do exist folks. Ill be coming back here for EVERYTHING I need done from now on. read more

I am in the middle of moving and it is $$$! My heart sank when my car started making a crazy loud noise that sounded like my engine was going to fall out of my car. I called Ulitmate Auto Care after reading their reviews. I decided to go with them because my regular mechanic is so busy he couldn't see me for two weeks. I've got a 2001 Acura 3.2 TL. Great car with 275k miles. But it's in its senior years. My blower suddently died. No AC no heat. Temperature '95-'100 outside! The local dealer said (sadly) that the motor was probably gone and the cost for replacement could go upwards of $1200. (I am not making this up.) On the internet I found Ultimate with 5 stars for more than 100 reviews. Appt scheduled quickly. Dropped it off and about two hours later Justin called to let me know the car was ready. Cost -$80 for the diagnostics and $90 for the part. (Not the motor.) I know where to go the next time my senior citizen car needs some TLC. read more
