Would NOT recommend them Service technician came out for an estimate w/ an attitude. Tried to charge me $125 for a diagnostic test. (He pretty much just turned on the system) Got into a little argument about $125 and he basically just left Plus price he was quoting was on the higher end read more

While Jesse is responsive and friendly, their pool technicians/cleaners are shoddy at best. After months of ineffective and inconsistent pool service I finally cancelled. Their response when I finally called to cancel: "Thanks" I would not recommend this company. read more

I had contacted a few vendors in yelp for our pool that needed much TLC (replaster ,new plumbings & tiles & so on ) After much consideration we decided to go with Pat's Pool Service. After I called them we made an initial appointment for an estimate & Pat came the following Saturday and checked the pool, he did some measurements and gave us a quote based on what we wanted and what needed to be done. He answered all of our questions & gave us an exact breakdown of how the work would be done & when it will be done. We did get 4 other quotes that week (2 of them which were cheaper)but still wanted to go with this company and I tell you why what we really loved about Pat was his honesty and knowledge & also the fact that he wasn't trying to rip the customer by offering & adding unnecessary work. He told us which parts of the pool still worked & didn't need to be touched & what others really needed to be changed . The contract was signed later that week & the job began. In about two weeks The job was done ,as promised & done on time, it was monitored & checked by Jesse (Pat's son) at the end of each day to make sure it was done correctly When the job was done there were a few very small issues that was resolved by Jesse right away and taken care of. We would definitely recommend Pats pool services to friends and family. Thanks to Pat & Jesse we are finally enjoying our pool three years after purchasing this house Thanks you Pat & Jesse for the wonderful job you've done, we really appreciate it read more

I was referred here by a friend of mine to get some chemicals for my spa. Got what I needed and they were very helpful.

Fine, but not great. Weekly visits were lacking, only lasted about 5-10 minutes. The previous owners that we purchased our house from let us know what kind of service we should expect from this company, but their employee would pretty much just dump chemicals and leave. Didn't even let us know when he was coming over- would literally let himself in with no warning and work for a few min and jet. There were some days where we were expecting him where he didn't show up, and he didn't let us know in advance. The reason they are getting three stars instead of four is because the management is flakey. Extremely friendly on the phone, but bad at tracking appointments. On a Thursday, we requested to have a technician come out to give an estimate on moving some pool equipment, and the person I spoke to was more than happy to agree. Told us he would be coming over on Monday. We called back the next day, Friday, with some follow-up questions, and I spoke to a different person who couldn't find any record of an upcoming appointment for us. He even had to take all of our information again because the first guy didn't log us in the database. We weren't surprised when the Monday technician was a no-show. So frustrating! read more

Pat and Jesse are both very reliable, honest, and service oriented people, who were recommended to me by a friend who had recently used their services. Both Pat and Jesse made several visits, which required them to drive 40 miles each way to supervise the project. They went above and beyond to satisfy my requests to make sure that I was happy with the end results. I was charged a fair and honest price with no annoying upsells. Since then, I have recommended them to my sister for her new pool project. Thanks guys! read more

I have tried a few different people for this and I think I finally found people I can trust. I have never felt like they are trying to take advantage of a situation and they are super knowledgeable and helpful whenever I have a problem. Strongly recommend! read more

I honestly can't express just how much these guys have helped me out. We just added a pool to the house within the last couple years and I knew absolutely nothing about how to maintain it. I tried a few other services but they were so flakey and I ended up doing most of the work myself. These guys changed everything and I immediately noticed a giant change when switching to them. I live in a really windy area and my pool can be a complete mess at times. They're so thorough and always do exactly what is needed, communicate it to me very clearly, always charge an extremely fair price for their work, and are always dependable. I honestly feel like they treat my pool just how they would treat their own. I can't recommend Pat's enough. Great service, great people, and complete peace of mind! read more

Just a reminder to all NEVER use them My Pool tiles continue to fall off and now they crack before they fail

Nothing but great service. Sure, things have gone wrong now and again, but they have always been careful and done what is right to fix any mistakes they made. My pool looks great and works as well as it ever has. I have recommended them without hesitation and will again. read more

Not satisfied at all with service. Always leaves debris. Too much of a rush type of job. Nice people but the person who does my pool is not one who has pride in his work. Can anyone recommend a service to me that is proud of their work? Certainly, not Pat's. Even the person who referred us isnt happy anymore and too is looking to replace them. read more

Pat, Jesse, and Fred have been so helpful. I have an inground pool that we haven't used in a few years it had some surface cracks and needed to be repainted badly, as well as needed a new pump and filter system. I found everything that I needed at Pat's store. Pat Jesse and Fred all gave me different options and describe different ways to handle my situation. I showed them pictures of my pool and explained what I had and what I was working with the equipment that I had before was very very old. Due to the fact that I am not real pool savvy they actually offered to make the commute to Lancaster to help with my pool. Rather than have them do that I asked them if they could walk me through everything step by step over the phone first, before I had them make that commute. Both Pat and Jessie really care about what they do, to offer to make a almost 60 mile commute to help someone out with their pool shows that these people really do take pride in what they do. I don't know of many companies that would offer to make that commute without charging an extremely large fee. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, but they are friendly and patient. I highly recommend these guys to anyone in need of pool services. The prices are reasonable, and they do their best to make sure you get exactly what you need. I also like the fact that even if you don't use their services they still will do their best to help you in any way shape or form!!! read more

I was in need of expert's second opinion/recommendation on the pool plumbing work that was performed by a pool contractor I had hired which shall remain nameless. I called many pool repair services to see if they would be willing to come out and perform an assessment and to provide a solution/recommendation. After many failed attempts, I got lucky contacting Pools By You / Pat's Pool Service. Jesse Teel from Pat's Pool Service was extremely helpful!!! Not only was he kind enough to call me back, but he actually took the time on the phone to listen to the pool plumbing issues I was having. After the lengthy chat, he provided valuable information as well as educating me on the plumbing architecture. Unfortunately, due to the long distance he was not able to come out but offered to further review my plumbing more in detail if I send him some photos which I had done. The next day I received his evaluated feedback on my complex plumbing configuration along with his recommendation to resolve the issue I was having. This is a company I would trust. They definitely have the expert knowledge but more importantly the integrity and customer service it outstanding. I just can't believe they would go out of their way to help someone in need. If I lived in the area where they provide service, I would look no further. They are fantastic!!! Thanks again Jesse! read more

Pat was incredibly kind and helpful. As a first time pool owner I had so many questions. Although Pat is outside of my service area, he still spent 30 minutes of his time on the phone with me explaining and providing solutions to my various concerns. He is honest and transparent. Wonderful pool resource! Thank you! read more

Pat's has it all...very good pool service, a store and a remodeling/repair shop. Pat's took care of a problem for me very quickly that my previous pool service could never seem to get a handle on...after they started servicing my pool it looked better than it had in a few years--I should have switched to Pat's much earlier. Both the pool store they run and the remodeling service offer very competitive prices. They are quick, responsive and experienced...a great one -stop shop in the Valley.... read more

If I could give over 5 stars I would! We hired Pat's Pool Service to re-plaster and re-tile our pool. We worked directly with Jesse from day one when he came out to give us a quote all the way through the completion of the project. Jesse is extremely knowledgeable, reliable, friendly and trustworthy. Communication is key when it comes to these types of projects and Jesse was in constant communication with me. All timelines were explained in advance. He would visit the worksite as each phase of the project was being worked on to make sure everything was going smoothly. He sent me updates throughout and answered all of my questions as they came up! Bottom line is that Jesse cares and it shows! I couldn't be happier with the end result! The work was done quickly, and best yet it was done right! We enjoyed the process of working with Jesse so much that we switched to Pat's Pool Service for our weekly pool maintenance! read more

What awesome service I received. I needed same day pool repair and they were there. Juan made the repairs for my in ground pool and this guy has so much knowledge it's incredible. He was such a professional that in the future I will only use him. He went out of his way to teach me some things about my pool. He did not have to spend his time to do that but he did. His service was a grade a+ . I just can't say enough good things about him and this company. Thank you / thank you/ thank you. Good things will come to people like you Juan. You were wonderful. I so much appreciate it. read more

If you are looking for a business that understands old fashioned customer service, skilled craftsmanship and professionalism, look no further. Pat and Fred have been providing equipment/parts, chemicals, water testing and advice to us for over 2 years. When we wanted to remodel our pool, we simply called Pat. No need to go anywhere else. He walked us through the process, outlined and clarified expectations, detailed a schedule and gave us a quote. There were no surprises. All the workers were professional, showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. Pat expects nothing less, neither do we. Our pool looks fantastic and it was completed in the proposed time frame. Pat managed all the details, and all we had to do was pick out the tile and the material. Thanks Pat! Job well done! read more
