I'm beyond disappointed by my experience with Bright Blue Pools, when we first met with Antonio he promised great customer service, communication, and that the price would never change. We made the request that they come in the afternoon because my fiancé works over night and would like to sleep undisturbed. Antonio agreed that it would be no problem. In the first few weeks out service tech Oscar left our pool fill running, both raiding our water bills and almost flooding the pool, when I told Antonio he said he'd tell him not to fill the pool anymore. I said it was fine he just needed to turn it off, Antonio said ok. The next week it was left on again, when I reached out to Antonio he apologized again. A few weeks later he texted that we needed to fill the pool, when I asked him why Oscar hadn't been doing it he said it wasn't a service they offered. When I asked why it had been getting done he said it was a favor but they stopped because of the issues. That was fine, I told him that now that I knew I would take care of it. A little over a month ago Antonio informed us of a price increase due to supply costs going up, we didn't argue, that is common since the pandemic raised supply costs across the board. We told him it was fine but another increase would price us out. So despite being told price would never increase we did not argue when it did. A few weeks ago my fiancé noticed our pool vacuum was barely moving and saw a kink in the hose, she sent a picture to Antonio and asked if they could take a look at the vacuum, he told her they would replace the hose link for $12, she told him we had hose links but she was worried that it was a pressure issue, he never responded. Oscar began coming at 9:30am waking my fiancé who had been up working and just gotten to sleep. When we texted Antonio regarding the early arrival he told us that was what he had to do because of his route. When we mentioned the agreement upon starting service Antonio told us we were too demanding. He told us we weren't willing to spend a penny because we already had vacuum hoses and didn't want to spend an extra $12 on something we already had. We had asked him to install a seismic pad under the pool filter per our building inspector's recommendation and he refused (despite our purchasing a seismic pad and being prepared to pay for the service). Multiple times our pool tech left gates opened and all we would ever do is text Antonio asking him to make sure gates were closed. No idea that made us too demanding. Antonio wants to build his business but customer service like that will just lose business as it has now lost us. Attached you'll find some screen shots of some of our text conversations. I'll also say that we weren't always on time with payment when things get hectic but when Antonio would mention it he would be paid.

After treatment & cleaning

Tony and his team have done an amazing job at servicing/deep cleaning the pool at the house I recently bought. The pool was extremely dirty and water looked like a swamp. When I first reached out to Tony, he went out the same day to start treatment and immediately scheduled his team to complete the work the same week. He provided daily updates with pictures to show the progress which was greatly appreciated since I have not yet fully moved in to see for myself. The difference Tony and team made in such a short amount of time is night and day and will definitely be using them for cleaning moving forward!

I do not advise to use the services of this company! You'll be deceived here! In the beginning, they looked like professionals, but it turned out to be a mistake! We just did a replaster our pool and contacted several companies to get a pool service quots. Among several companies we have chosen Bright Blue Pool!  A guy named Tony said we had to pay $200 to start the service and then $110 a month. It was the highest price among the other offers! But Tony looked like a professional and I agreed to his services! Tony asked to pay the money up front, as he needed to buy chemicals! I agreed to that. That was my second mistake. On the first day, Thursday, he came with his partner. They spent about 30 minutes. They added chemicals and brushed the pool. After that, they said they would come the next day, Friday, with 8-10 AM. No one's here. It was only after I called them and asked if they would come that they said they would try to come tonight. He arrived for 10-15 minutes, added chemicals and brushed again. The next visit was supposed to be on Monday! On Tuesday I asked why you didn't come to the service, Tony said his partner was not available and he promised to come the next day and conduct the service himself! Which certainly didn't happen! Waiting for next Friday, my pool became very dirty because of the winds! And I called again and asked why they never came to do the service, to which Tony replied that he came today and checked all the chemicals! Then I did a water test and realized that I was being deceived! The level of chlorinin was at zero! After that, I decided that I would never work with this company! The pool replaster cost us $12,000! I wouldn't want to do it next year again because of poor service!

Pool cleaned by Bright Blue Pools

Contacted Bright Blue Pools for a deep cleaning. Tony answered quickly and was able to come the following day. He did an amazing job in getting our pool tidied up and rid of algae. He was very friendly, answered all our questions, and was very knowledgeable. Currently receiving monthly services from Bright Blue Pools, would highly recommend.

Tony left my pool awesome looking. It had a carpet of dirt before.

We called this company to help resolve our pool problem and the owner tony came over right away at the last minute. He went out of his way to clean my pool with a portable vacuum and left it sparkling!!! The job took longer than expected and he still honored his price, which was very affordable. I appreciate the honesty and professional and willingness to help out a customer. Thank you bright blue.

We just finished a complete renovation of our pool with Oscar's Pool Service, and I can honestly…read moresay it was one of the best decisions we've made as homeowners. When we bought our house three years ago, we knew the pool needed to be redone. Unfortunately, because of other major repairs, we had to wait. Our house was a flip, and whoever patched up the pool before us did a quick, cosmetic job that started falling apart within months. The plaster came off in sheets, the 1960s tile was covered in decades of calcium buildup, the coping was old red brick with mortar literally crumbling out, and some jets and plumbing didn't even work. The pool was technically swimmable, but it was depressing to look at. This summer our weekly pool cleaner told us the plaster was about to fail completely, so we started calling around for estimates. Most of the big corporate companies gave us inflated quotes and made us feel like just another job number. A trusted friend recommended Oscar's, so we checked Yelp, saw all the great reviews, and gave him a call. Oscar came out immediately, took careful measurements, walked us through every detail, and his knowledge and professionalism instantly won our trust. From there, the process moved quickly. Within a week of signing, his crew demoed the entire pool in just a few hours. We got to choose tile from several suppliers and ended up with a beautiful pebble mosaic that matched our house. At first, we thought we'd keep the old red brick coping, but at the last minute we switched to a modern dark gray brick. Best decision ever! It completely transformed the look of our backyard. As often happens with older homes, surprises came up: our original 1964 gas and electrical lines were corroded and had to be replaced. Oscar handled everything--brought in trusted contractors, coordinated the work, and saved us the headache of dealing with multiple companies. While we were at it, we upgraded our equipment to a top-of-the-line Jandy system with Wi-Fi controls, plus added a heater and automatic pool filler. Yes, the budget went up, but every upgrade was worth it. Watching the transformation was amazing. Once the new tile, coping, and plaster went in, it felt like we had a brand-new pool built from scratch. The white plaster makes the water sparkle, the equipment runs quietly and efficiently, and with the heater and lights, we can swim comfortably day or night, year-round. Beyond the work itself, what made the experience so special was Oscar and his family. He's personable, honest, hardworking, and clearly cares about his craft. His crew was professional, respectful, and fast. By the end, it felt like we weren't just hiring a contractor--we were working with people who truly cared about making our home better. Now every time we step into our backyard, we can't believe the difference. What was once an eyesore is now the centerpiece of our home, and we're enjoying it constantly. If you need pool renovation, plaster, tile, coping, or even just reliable weekly service in the San Fernando Valley--call Oscar's. He's the best! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DKKSP_c4UY

A pool isn't just water and a pump--it involves electricity, gas, and chemicals, and if something is done incorrectly, the risks can be serious, especially with kids in the home. That became very clear to me this summer. After picking up on a few too many red flags with our previous pool guy, I went looking for someone who actually knew what they were doing. That's how I found Michael. He called me back right away and came out quickly. Within minutes of inspecting the equipment, he found multiple issues--including one major electrical safety problem that could have seriously harmed my kids. No one had ever caught it before. Since then, I've had several other licensed specialists out (leak detection, electricians, etc.), and every single one of them confirmed what Michael found. Beyond the technical side, he's exactly the kind of person you want working on something as important as a pool: consistent, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He shows up when he says he will and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. Finding someone competent shouldn't be this hard, but I'm glad we eventually crossed paths with Michael. I highly recommend Pool SOULution and Michael Meadows.

I explained that my pool man hasn't been coming by and I was in the process of shocking my pool. I was hoping my pool will be ready before this weekend. I'm throwing my youngest son a birthday pool party Saturday. Without hesitation he said "shoot me your address and I'll come by to take a look." (Eventhough it was his day off) Not only is he knowledgeable about the pool but you can tell he's kind, humble, honest and a great teacher. He took his time to go over what's the next steps to getting the pool ready for Saturday/ready for summer. He taught me about the air bleed sock for DE filters and manifold. He even gave me a FREE O ring for manifold. Thank you for your help today. I greatly appreciate you. I highly recommend Mike as your next pool guy.

The straight up lies and being treated like an idiot are unbelievable. If your chemistry is done right, there will never be an algae build up and no special treatment is necessary. He worked hard for a couple of hours doing all this, and he showed me a few things so I could take better care of our pool myself. By the way, my pool cleaner had told me I needed our 6-month old filters REPLACED for upwards of $800.
