Chicken: Juicy, smoky, seasoned so well it could compete with tandoori chicken--rare to find that level of flavor. Steak: Tender, flavorful, nicely grilled. Charro beans: Soupy, shockingly good, and well seasoned. Rice: Basic, plain, no real seasoning. Warm tortillas are a nice plus. Charbroiled, smoky, juicy goodness. To be real, the sides are less than fantastic. The beans are watery, and the rice is nothing to write home about, but hey, I'm still happy to eat it all. If you're looking for a solid lunch spot in Olathe, this makes the list. We ordered the whole chicken to share. The chicken is awesome - great smoky flavor and really moist. It came with rice, beans and tortillas. Besides the fact that the bean portion was mostly liquid, the portions for both rice and beans would never have fed the suggested 3 - 4 people. The tortillas were good and I really loved the grilled jalapeño. For hubby and I this place would be an easy go to spot if we felt like the sides were better and more appropriately sized for what we paid. For one, a super smokey half chicken for me with a hint of crispy burn, perfectly seasoned (brined I'm guessing) complimented by small sides of rice and beans (latter with bits of hot dog and onion), a massive seared off jalapeno pepper, two fiery sauces also in small Styrofoam containers--one green, one red--both which appear to be made from scratch + a foil pouch full of corn tortillas. For $10+ with a Jarritos, pure bliss, and food that doesn't make you feel like you hate yourself a couple of hours later. What everyone's saying about this place, they're spot on. I get it that not everyone wants to eat from a food truck, but the two picnic tables under a small tent on a semi-cloudy/sunny day held a lot of very happy folks. The chicken had a delicious medium+ heat level, was nicely cooked, not greasy, and somewhat moist. The rice was surprisingly good, with a medium+ heat level, too. The charro beans (pintos with hot dog bits) were soupy, mild, and okay. The five tortillas were fresh and hot, while the grilled pepper was spicy and delicious. The two salsas were also nice, with good heat. The service was fast and cheerful, and there was a covered outdoor seating area nearby. Specials were available on FB, and they accepted my credit card. Utensils and napkins were not included in my order, so be sure to ask if you need them. They have a semi-permanent location at the Santa Fe Fuel parking lot. Excellent! read more

LOVE ! The marinade/seasoning + the smoky charbroiled on the chicken is delicious! We got double rice - the beans, and the rice was a nice compliment to the chicken. The green sauce is pretty spicy, so if you're not a spicy eater I would get double of the red sauce. The red sauce was like pico de gallo in salsa form- TASTY! Grilled Chicken! That's it...well that was it, I've been buying from them since their first location off Ridgeview and Santa Fe, now it's just a little west of there. The grilled chicken is amazing. Perfectly seasoned and moist and tender. Usually it comes with a side of rice which is amazing, garlicky flavored rice. And charro beans, which is kinda like a soup to me, with hot dog in it. They have a delicious avocado sauce/salsa and a salsa that comes with it that's so good as well. And usually a side of tortillas too. They recently added beef to their menu and I tried it...It was kinda like carne asada but just kinda bland to me. So, I'll just stick to the chicken for now! I had seen them several times driving by and decided to stop. The menu is just grilled chicken, a half or whole, with beans, rice, grilled jalepeno and tortillas. The chicken was good moist and flavorful. Not sure what they marinate it in, but the flavor was good. The chicken is not spicy, but the salsa the provide has some heat.
