Beautiful sunset on a Thursday evening!

We enjoyed this beautiful sunset on a Thursday evening with food & cocktails! Drinks were amazing! Just a little disappointed that my bill for an order of wings, truffle fries and 2 lemon drop martinis came to $70!!!

    Guava Cooler (~$12)

Ordered: Strawberry Basil Smash (~$14): Woodford Reserve, lemon juice, simply syrup, strawberries, and basil Guava Cooler (~$12): Stoli vodka, guava nectar, lime juice, simply syrup Cheeseburger (~$17): with lettuce, tomato, onions, special sauce, house pickles, and frites Aya's take: Super cute and hip rooftop! Obviously not as high up as rooftops I'm used to in NYC. Despite this, the ambiance was amazing and the drinks were pretty good. After sitting for a while, we decided to grab food and the Cheeseburger with Frites really hit the spot. It was messy but super tasty! I recommend making a reservation prior to coming since it does get a bit busy.

Shaken not stirred! Here for the weekend and they didn't disappoint this first timer. I did go as aoon as they open because this is a popular place that has mixed reviews, but the menu was inviting. I wasn't expecting much, just some bar food and a few drinks. The lobster sandwich and wings were perfect. Service was great, they checked on us often since we were in the rooftop and others were inside. It's a little loud inside because it's a dj.((expected)).its rooftop season and I enjoyed sitting on the side viewing the lake. I would return of I was a local. Until next time!

Yesterday I went to Patrick's rooftop for the first time for my friend's birthday. We got there around 4:30 after work. It was a little tough to find because there weren't many signs outside the hotel where it is located. Anyhow, we made our way to the top floor for the rooftop bar. The tables are first come first serve, so we tried to get there shortly after they opened, and it was already getting a little bit crowded. There were indoor and outdoor areas throughout to choose from. We snagged a spot near the overlook of a nice view of downtown. A server came over to take our order which is a nice touch. We started with a round of drinks which we got but didn't get our water until quite a bit a later even though we wanted to start with water. The drinks were pretty tasty but a little bit expensive at around $12 a cocktail. My favorite was the frose! With COVID restrictions we were required to order food. We ordered hummus, carnitas and shrimp cocktail. Honestly the appetizers were awful. The shrimp cocktail was brunt and were only four pieces of little shrimp. I didn't try the carnitas but I waited about a half an hour after my friends got their appetizers to get my hummus. The vegetables served with the hummus were beyond strange and it also came with some burnt baguettes. The appetizers were also served on plastic plates. Which ruined the upscale touch. Service was overall very slow. The other thing I did not like was that the inside was getting very very crowded and the bar did not appear to have any concerns for COVID which was a turn off. Luckily we were outside so we still felt somewhat safe. Overall the cocktails are a bit expensive, and you pay for the wonderful views. I would steer clear of any food and out of the inside as they do not adhere to any social distancing with COVID. I would come back solely for the views and a drink.

Tried Patrick's for Sunday brunch. The pics and reviews were overall good but unfortunately aside from the view, my experience was not enjoyable. I got there around 1p and the first drink I ordered was a pineapple jalapeño drink. It was not good at all. It tasted watered down, and I couldn't taste the pineapple or jalapeño. Next we tried to order the bottomless mimosas. It was around 130 and we were told it was too late and wouldn't be worth the cost at that time. The bartender offered to make us a margarita which was really tasty. We were excited for mimosas so we decided to get a glass anyway. I ordered pineapple and my friend ordered peach. The bartender said ok but brought out a pineapple pitcher. We tried to explain that we each just wanted a glass but he seemed overwhelmed so we just took the pitcher. The brut they used was really strong so we had him add more pineapple and cranberry before we were able to actually enjoy the mimosas. As for the food, we were excited to try the waffle flight but they didn't have it so I ended up getting the omelette of the day and my friend got a crepe. Her crepe was cold but palatable. My omelette had feta, spinach and mushrooms and was just ok. I think it could've used a little salt. The potatoes were great! By far the best thing I had there. The ambiance is great and definitely worth going to just for the vibes and views. The outdoor rooftop has a fire pit and cute booths and seating. I think I went in with high expectations but would go back just to hang out with friends.

Best views of the city hands down! The happy hour is amazing. Not to mention they have the best Froze in the city. Hip, fun & a hot spot in Buffalo.

Visited from San Diego and this was a breath of fresh air. Jason Frese went out of this way to make my night memorable. Music is progressive and views are 5 stars

Our order was incorrect. The Manager, Jason, handled the situation extremely well. He apologized and made sure that the order was corrected. In addition, I observed him in multiple interactions with customers and he was professional and engaging. Great manager! Patrick's is lucky to have him! The food was excellent too!

The view of the city from here can't be beat! It was absolutely gorgeous at sunset. The drinks were tasty and definitely got our money's worth of booze! We also enjoyed the cheese board, a yummy treat before a full dinner. My favorite part was hands down the view!!

This is place has an absolute great atmosphere and as the sun set across the city, you get an indescribable view. The food was pretty good and long with the drinks. We got there before 8 so all the cocktails were half price which was a great steal. My favorite drink has to be the skinny senorita if you are looking for a cute, sweet drink

We ended up going out on a Monday night, not sure what or who we would find out. We ventured here and from the nice gentlemen worker cleaning that guided us to the rooftop to the Bartenders, everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable about their drinks offered and took great care of every customer. When you walk out of the elevator there is a beautiful scene of the city, the decor is lovely and there is a lot of seating and even decorative fires to sit by. I asked for a fruity drink and it was delicious. Prices are a little high, but there's a nice clientele, beautiful view and friendly people-what more could you ask for!

There were only a few other guests during our stay and things began to pickup as we were leaving. In the past, later at night, we've walked by and the place is quite packed. If you like quiet intimacy and a deal on drinks and food happy hour is your golden time here. I almost hate to share this secret tbh. Don't go. Leave this for me haha. The drinks here are all delicious and lovingly made. Really superb cocktails that taste good. The food is pretty good. It is clearly prepared well and presented artfully. I do think that calling a burger, "A quest for heaven" and not having it be super memorable and mind blowingly flavorful is a miss. It's a good burger and I'd eat it again but it's not a craveable item and I hoped with such a small menu it would be amazing. The charcuterie is super generously portioned and the nduja add on is a huge portion of nduja. Get the charcuterie. The crab toast was good and I'd get it again. We want to try baked brie next time. We also tried the pistachio mousse dessert and it was very pretty but lacked a lot of pistachio flavor. A chocolate cup full of unflavored but rich whipped cream and a minuscule amount of pistachio flavored something that was holding the cup to the plate. We were mostly just confused by the name of the dish versus the experience. It was good just not pistachio mousse. We actually wondered if someone accidentally prepared it wrong. We were here for an anniversary and were given free champagne before our meal and offered more at the end which we declined because of all the other lovely drinks we'd had. The service was great, the staff were polite and informed about the menu and drinks and the bartenders made wonderful things. Will be trying Saint Neri again soon.

I feel like it has fine dining aspirations (and could totally nail it!) but just needs some small details to really reach it. Our food was great - perfectly cooked strip steak, chicken pot pie with the best buttery crust that I devoured and didn't leave feeling overly full. Crème brûlée that my husband said was one of the most flavorful custards he's ever had. Areas of improvement: the wall next to our table was all gouged up which, any other place I don't care (and it certainly didn't take away from the meal) but for a special occasion may be more noticeable. Olive tapenade was good but the baguette didn't seem fresh which is a shame being so close to so many great bakeries and the co-op. No small plates served with appetizer, no spoon with dessert, no steak knife with steak, bill wasn't accurate to order (I ordered a $37 item when I was told the pot pie was gone but they had another one left so I got what I wanted but CPP was $17 and the bill still had the more expensive item) NOW: these are such minor, minor things and I would hardly say took away from the meal meaningfully but for a Saturday night, just easy fixes to really elevate the experience. Bill was fixed quickly and all missing utensils appeared quickly, We'll be back for sure!

We have been to JTs several times together over the past few years. We live in the neighborhood and try to get out every 4-6 weeks. While the food and drinks have always been expensive, last night was just over the top terrible. The bartender didn't want to serve us (or anyone for that matter). As we walked up, she said loudly enough for several people to hear that she just wanted to close up and go home - the bar wasn't scheduled to close for at least an hour and the bar area was still full! I told her we would be quick and asked if it was too late to order food. She reluctantly admitted that the kitchen was open. To make things easier, I didn't even look at the menu and just ordered a simple pizza. The bartender was so rude to us and treated us as though we were bothering her. As I said before, we have been there many times in the past. The food and drinks have always been overpriced, but it is close to home and easy. Being "older" now, look for places that attract those of a similar age and that have good service; the price is less of an issue. We were always able to look past the fact that this restaurant is overpriced (it is just fancy pizza and pasta) due to the convenience factor. However, I cannot stress this enough the bartender was awful. She was unkind, unprofessional, and entitled. When we spoke to the manager, he just blindly stood behind the woman that had previously announced that she didn't want to be there. Well, I don't want to be there any more either. And I would urge the same of you. If you want great pizza, go to Daniela. If you want great pasta, go to Amici. The prices are better. The food is better. And they want to serve you.

That focaccia was like no other focaccia I'd ever had but was delicious; crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The steak (med rare) was perfect to me, hubs thought it was a tiny bit too rare for him. It was super tender and easy to eat, perfect char. I couldn't eat the chimmichurri it came with as it has Thai basil (not usual in chimmichurri, but I'm allergic, and the server was very good about asking about allergies) but honestly, it didn't need it. That steak stood on its own. Both desserts were delicious, but to my surprise I think the pavlova was even better than the panna cotta (and I love panna cotta). The portions were very generous and I was pretty stuffed by the time I got home. Our portion of the bill was over $200 (hubs also had some cocktails and the steak alone was almost $90) but it was so good, we'll want to come back when we're in town for sure.
