Where's the ZERO star button?!! Horrible doctor, DO NOT go to him!! You have been warned!!! I think…read morethe other reviews that were positive are completely fake. Sort according to newest, those are probably the most relevant. Where do I start? I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Zhiyong Li at this practice in Garland. My experience was deeply frustrating from start to finish. Dr. Li does not make meaningful eye contact when he talks, and does not appear interested in fully understanding family concerns. He has horrible mannerisms - both in Mandarin and English. He shows absolutely ZERO empathy for patients and their families considering the line of work he's in. Bedside manner is extremely important in healthcare, especially when patients and their families may already be feeling anxious or vulnerable. If he diagnoses your loved one's condition as terminal, you will pretty much never hear or see him. He's almost to the point of nonexistent - he will never come see your loved one. When I attempted to ask follow-up questions about my dad's diagnosis, his response was, "You don't listen do you!" There was no effort made to ensure I understood the plan of care. His tone during the interaction is dismissive rather than supportive. Questions are met with short, clipped responses that lacked explanation or reassurance. More concerning was the lack of empathy shown toward both me and my family members who were present. His tone feels cold and impatient rather than compassionate. He pretends to be warm and fuzzy only on the very first visit. He shouldn't be in this line of work, period! I don't mind people who are straight-forward as I myself am a straight shooter. But he shows zero empathy and kindness to his patients and family. He's rude! He's abrasive, and arrogant! His demeanor is unfeeling, cold-hearted, insensitive, impatient, and dismissive. I understand that medical professionals are often under time pressure, but compassion and respectful communication are critical components of quality care. A doctor's role is not just to diagnose, but to communicate clearly and provide reassurance when appropriate. In this case, that standard was not met. Healthcare requires not only clinical knowledge but also communication and bedside manner. I hope significant improvements are made in patient communication and bedside manner, because the current experience will leave you with much disappointment. I hope future patients and family will read this, and heed my warnings. Stay far away!

He SUPER down to earth and does a thorough physical exam. I have been suffering from thyroid symptoms for about 4 years. Been to several doctors and none of them could help me. My symptoms got to a point where I thought I was dying. Was having heart palpitations, EXTREME hair loss, excessive fatigue, random sore spots and bruises on my body, vision issues, rapid weight gain, anxiety off the charts (couldn't get more than 4 hours of sleep to save my life)- you name it. None of the prior doctors could tell me what was happening. And after a while, I believe that they started to disregard my complaints- EVEN after I did my research and TOLD them what I thought was going on. Dr. Launius LISTENED to me- and for the first time in years I didn't feel like the doctor thought I was crazy. After he completed the physical exam- he pretty much assured me the help that I needed. He also said that he would get my hair to stop falling out (as it was falling out by the handfuls- and was so bad, that for a moment, I actually thought that I might have had cancer). I know- an ignorant thought, but paired with the way that I was feeling in addition to the hair loss- that is the mindset that I was in. THE NEXT DAY... his team called me with the results. Sure enough, my levels were low. I got the prescription and was felling better by the end of the first month. Dropped 10 pounds almost immediately. I'm currently in month two- and guess what? For the first time in 4 years, I was able to comb out and wash my hair without any of it coming out. I'm ecstatic! I know hair seems like a small vain thing to most people, but when you start to lose it, it really messes with your confidence. My hair is pretty thin now, and is way shorter than it was 4 years ago- but at least I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. I'm excited for progress and my new hair journey. To top it all off, I feel great. I've never appreciated my health more than I do now. I'm so thankful to have run across Dr. Lanius- a REAL health professional. Just referred my mom and best friend who are having many of the same symptoms. If you are possibly experiencing issues with your thyroid, PLEASE.. go see Dr. Lanius. Dont waste years like I did- risking your health, weight, and hair. Wish I would have discovered him years ago. I LITERALLY feel like he saved my life. 5 Stars - The Best Primary Doctor You'll Find!…read more I've been a patient of Dr. Loc Trieu for over 15 years, and I can confidently say he is hands down the BEST primary care physician I've ever had. His consistency, care, and genuine concern for his patients are unmatched. He's helped me manage and significantly reduce my headaches and stress levels over the years, and he always takes the time to listen and make sure I feel heard and supported. His approach is not only effective, but also compassionate. I've referred all my friends and family to him, and they're just as impressed as I am. It's honestly frustrating to see any negative reviews, because my experience--and the experience of everyone I've sent to him--has been nothing but excellent. Dr. Trieu, thank you for being such a dedicated and exceptional doctor. I will continue to refer anyone I care about to your care! Elicia

Dr. Trieu's choice of treatment for me was to prescribe a mood enhancing pharmaceutical (he assured me that I needed it and that it would help me). Needless to say I did not take the drug. I asked for a cervical spine MRI; he wrote the Rx incorrectly and the lab would not perform the procedure. He wrote 2 other prescriptions incorrectly and I was not able to get them filled. So I decided to find another primary physician and I asked for a copy of my records. I was SHOCKED to read in his notes that he had written that I had a mental issue which was causing my headaches. He had seen me all of 2 times for a total of about 20 minutes - there is no way that he was qualified to judge my mental state! Plus, my headaches were caused by a misalignment in my spine that is now successfully treated by osteopathic adjustment. Avoid this idiot "doctor" like the plague!

I am new to the Dallas area and was looking for a family medicine clinic to establish care…read more Unfortunately, this location has made that process unnecessarily frustrating and unprofessional. I have now driven from Irving to this clinic twice in the past two weeks, only to be told both times that my appointment had been canceled -- with no explanation given and no prior notification. Each visit cost me a day of work, plus hours spent calling my employer's HR department and my insurance company to confirm my coverage. Both confirmed everything was accurate and active. The problem was never on my end. What makes this worse is that the clinic seemed to place the blame on me for their own cancellations, rather than taking any accountability or offering a solution. I understand that schedules change and issues come up, but canceling appointments last minute without notice and then pointing the finger at the patient is not acceptable -- especially for someone trying to establish a new patient relationship. I've lost time, wages, and patience over this. If you're new to the area and looking for a reliable primary care provider, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. First impressions matter, and this one speaks volumes.
