I had a great experience with the dental hygienist. I've had a TERRIBLE time with the dental office. Here's why: Visit 1) I ordered a stay-plate (like a denture) and paid for a RUSH on it. They took IMPRESSIONS (2 of them) and said the stay-late would be ready in a few days. 4 days later, I called and was told that the stay-plate was in. OK, it was a day or two late, but I was happy it got there. (I was teaching and couldn't be toothless!) Visit 3) The stay-plate was completely wrong. I couldn't even bite down. They took new IMPRESSIONS and I was told the new stay-plate would be ready in a few days. It was not. I was told I had to come in and redo more impressions! Visit 4) They did 3 more impressions - including one of my old stay-plate. I was told that the dental assistant would contact the labs and myself directly. One week later, (it's no been over 3 weeks since I started) and I still haven't heard from Dr. Murray's office. I ended up calling them today and they said "someone will call you when it comes in." No information given. I not only paid in cash in advance, but I paid to have them put a rush on it. I should have gotten a good stay-plate in only a few days, HOWEVER, I still have nothing to show for it. It's now been over 3 weeks. I called another dental office and they said it usually takes a week or less to get a stay-plate. What is going on? I've been waiting patiently and NO ONE has called me back to let me know when I can expect it. This is horrible customer service. I was going to get implants from Dr. Murray, and get at least 10 new patients for her, but I'm not now. I know that labs screw up, but where is the communication? The customer service? Shouldn't someone be on top of this? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 5 STARS for STAR. This recommendation is for Dr. Murray's Dental Hygienist - Star. Star was exceptionally thorough and used cutting edge instruments, including lasers, to deep clean my tooth roots and gums. She was very professional and seemed to really care about my comfort level. The hour-long procedure was painless, educational, and almost pleasant. I no longer hate going to get my teeth cleaned! read more

I've been going to dr. Patricia for over 10 years ! Her practice is the best I ever experienced. The office staff is nice and actually takes time to get to know you. I feel really good about Dr. Patricia Murray's office. The assistants were great. The office was clean and getting in to see the doctor was timely. Dr. Murray showed me in a straightforward way what needed to be done. She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. What she pointed out matched everything I felt wasn't quite working with my current teeth and the implant work I previously had done by another dentist. It's extremely rare that I feel confident about a dentist, or even that I feel heard or can speak my mind, but I felt that way with Dr. Murray. read more

The whole office is in on scamming you. The got me doped up and made me pay for the whole visit right then and there even though my insurance was supposed to cover most of it. Then they charged me for over 5 ex-rays that my insurance wouldn't cover because they didn't show the right side I my face. They mistook the ex-rays then demanded I pay for them. read more

Dr. Murray has been my dentist for about a decade, and I am confident that I am receiving quality dental care with her first-tier skills in performing dental implants, her able general practitioner contract dentists, cheerful and competent dental assistants, an excellent hygienist and helpful office staff. I can recommend her office without hesitation. And she sometimes goes the extra mile for her regular clients. I had a crown fall out on the Saturday before Christmas, and forlornly left a VM about my sorry plight, gap-toothed going into the holiday parties. I was diagnosed with periodontal disease at a pretty young age. I've been coming here for cleanings between my regular dentist appointments and my hygienist Star is awesome! She is very kind, gentle and knowledgable. She assists me with making decisions on what's best for my health while keeping costs in mind. Dr. Murray is very professional and I have never had any problems with any procedures performed on me. They are up front with cost and keep me informed on my insurance coverage and what I will pay out of pocket. I highly recommend this practices. read more

All they care about is money. Dr murray sent my unpaid bill to collections while I'm unemployed due to covid 19. Also put a crown on a tooth that had deep decay "dr Murray's words. Told me a month after completing the crown when it still hurt that I needed a root canal. read more

Very bad experience.......came in for an implant on front tooth and after 6 surgeries and over a year, still no tooth......not even the rod had been set. So many surgeries had been done that the scar tissue under the gum pulled my top lip down in an awkward way and turned it under. Dr. Murray was very unprofessional, getting angry when i began to wonder if i shouldn't have a second opinon. She was confrontational and more than a bit scattered. Had to go to Dr. Chu to have it all fixed. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Starr has been cleaning my teeth for longer than I can remember and I always leave with a sparkling mouth and at least 1 new and useful dental care tip. Whenever she sees anything suspicious, Dr. Murray evaluates and advises and I'm happy to say that under their care, I've never had a serious dental problem. read more

My son, 15, and i went to have our teeth cleaned. we had a groupon and had no experience with this dental practice before we went. I was pleasantly surprised with everyone we came in contact with on our visit. Very professional and very nice. My previous dental experience at smile dental on stoney point road was horrible so i went into this place cautiously. They did everything on the groupon and did not "sneak" anything in which required extra money. The place is clean and inviting. I will be going back again. Two thumbs up from me. read more
