I…read morechose Dr. Murolo as my dentist after moving to this area in Fall 2024, and even though I had no pain or problems with my teeth he told me that I have 4 fillings that are old and need to be replaced. So I do, but now two of the fillings that he replaced hurt anytime I eat. It is extremely frustrating to have had no problems with your teeth, and then you go see the dentist and all of a sudden your teeth start hurting. He says the bite needs to be adjusted, and so I get the bite adjusted . . . 4 different times. Each time it takes more than a week to get an appointment for a 5 minute procedure. Also the pain is getting better with each adjustment but it's not disappearing. So finally it's decided that the fillings need to be re-done, and it takes almost a month to get an appointment for this. (Seriously - I messaged them on 12/17 and their earliest appointment was 1/14). Then when I get there they claim that I was late and they can't see me for another two weeks. Also at this point the pain has gotten much worse for some reason - my teeth are now constantly hurting and food is getting stuck in between the two fillings every time I eat. It is literal agony but they will not give me an appointment. I can't stand the pain anymore and find another dental practice whose angel of a dentist agrees to see me for an emergency appointment the next day. When I get there they discover that the fillings that Dr. Murolo did BROKE after only three months and bacteria had entered the site. That's why the pain had become so severe all of a sudden. It's so bad that the new dentist re-does my fillings on the spot, but it costs me $300+ because my insurance will not cover a re-do so soon on the fillings. I am so happy to be pain-free now but had a terrible experience with this practice and would not recommend them. Impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner and like I mentioned, fillings broke after only three months, which I can't believe is even possible. Last of all front desk was terribly unprofessional and kept sending us $500+ bills and claiming my husband did not have insurance . . . ma'am, you spelled his last name wrong, that's why you couldn't find him in the insurance system. Told her this and she just giggled and blamed it on "multitasking." There are so many great dentists out there (including the new one I randomly found while desperately searching for an emergency appointment) that you should not waste your time with this practice.

There is no better dentist in the area. In fact, one of the patients that comes to this office…read moredrives four hours to see them. The office staff is so caring and accommodating. They know I've had bad experiences in the past with needles in my mouth and they were able to work around that to make me much more relaxed. I also come for regular cleanings and their suggestions on flossing, brushing and using a WaterPic have made the appointments so much easier. You can trust them!

Made sure I was OK every step of the way. I also had Dr. Chavez do a follow up checkup, she was very thorough and explained all the steps that would be needed . Turns out I need an old filling replaced because a tiny piece fell out and it's old, so time to replace it. I went to this same office for close to 50 years, first with Dr. George Henley, who retired and then Dr. Mann, who also retired. Although I miss Karen and Dr. Mann, I feel relieved that the new practice has such a nice caring staff, and a great choice between two caring Drs.---and they are not close to retirement, a good thing for me. ;) Thanks for being there, and giving such wonderful services, I'm looking forward to future appointments. :)

I recently cracked a crown and was looking for anyone that could see me as soon as possible, and…read morethat lead me to the yelp listing for New Leaf. I read the bad, read the good, and decided to give them a try. I called, explained my situation, and boom, same day visit to make sure everything was ok, then a follow up the next day for a temp. Fast, efficient, easy. Now, because this was an emergent issue, I didn't take the time to go through all of the hoops to find an in-network provider with my insurance provider. I know this could've lead me to a search for a second job, but fortunately I was covered, even though I was not in-network. I did have questions about cost, and how my coverage would apply; let me tell you, they broke everything down, and explained everything I could expect, and even refunded me fees that they clawed back from my insurance. I wanted to know how my coverage would work, since they were out of network, and they gave me a printout of how my coverage would be applied over their range of services. It turns out that even though they're not in my network, everything is still reasonably covered so I'm joining their club! A week later, my crown was ready; they got it fitted, seated, and got me out the door in under an hour. No pain, no problems, just premium work! On my original crown, you could feel the seam where the crown met the tooth, but the new one is on there and I can't tell where my tooth stops and the crown starts, it's completely seamless! It's like magic; sweet, sexy, dental magic! I was back on track towards earning my Ozempic prescription the very next day. Alex, Luli, Dr. Kuo, you guys are amazing, thank you!!!

He never judged me--he simply welcomed me as a patient and, with his team, carefully worked step by step to save my teeth. We have had a couple oops! Incidents and they were able to get us in pretty much the same day. (exception one time was over a weekend). Dr. Ray & Dr. Maurice make the kiddo feel at home and relaxed. They even let her bring a small stuffed animal to hold if she wants. She cares for the team so much she made them lunch (her chicken corn chowder she makes) and delivered it to them. The hardest part of all of this has been the kid picking out colors for her bands. I mean what else does she have to worry about? They have an awesome payment plan and lay out the phases so it is not as braces used to be w0 years ago (everything all at once).
