Normally I wouldn't write a review of my dentist office but I had a terrible experience at my previous one and was so happy to have found Dr. Murolo. He is by far one of the best I have come by locally and the overall care quality and staff involvement is above and beyond. Buckle up friends, for this tale of pain and suffering at the hands of this terrible practice. I chose Dr. Murolo as my dentist after moving to this area in Fall 2024, and even though I had no pain or problems with my teeth he told me that I have 4 fillings that are old and need to be replaced. So I do, but now two of the fillings that he replaced hurt anytime I eat. It is extremely frustrating to have had no problems with your teeth, and then you go see the dentist and all of a sudden your teeth start hurting. He says the bite needs to be adjusted, and so I get the bite adjusted . . . 4 different times. Each time it takes more than a week to get an appointment for a 5 minute procedure. Also the pain is getting better with each adjustment but it's not disappearing. So finally it's decided that the fillings need to be re-done, and it takes almost a month to get an appointment for this. (Seriously - I messaged them on 12/17 and their earliest appointment was 1/14). Then when I get there they claim that I was late and they can't see me for another two weeks. Also at this point the pain has gotten much worse for some reason - my teeth are now constantly hurting and food is getting stuck in between the two fillings every time I eat. It is literal agony but they will not give me an appointment. I can't stand the pain anymore and find another dental practice whose angel of a dentist agrees to see me for an emergency appointment the next day. When I get there they discover that the fillings that Dr. Murolo did BROKE after only three months and bacteria had entered the site. That's why the pain had become so severe all of a sudden. It's so bad that the new dentist re-does my fillings on the spot, but it costs me $300+ because my insurance will not cover a re-do so soon on the fillings. I am so happy to be pain-free now but had a terrible experience with this practice and would not recommend them. Impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner and like I mentioned, fillings broke after only three months, which I can't believe is even possible. Last of all front desk was terribly unprofessional and kept sending us $500+ bills and claiming my husband did not have insurance . . . ma'am, you spelled his last name wrong, that's why you couldn't find him in the insurance system. Told her this and she just giggled and blamed it on "multitasking." There are so many great dentists out there (including the new one I randomly found while desperately searching for an emergency appointment) that you should not waste your time with this practice. read more

I have been going to this dentist office for over 35 years. Started when the Dentist with Guiseppe Aymar, DDS. It then changed hands to Dr. Christopher Murolo, who was very carefully chosen to replace Dr. Aymar. Since going to Dr. Murolo's office, his entire staff has changed. Dr. Murolo is not the issue, his front office staff is. I use to go in for cleanings every six months without an issue. I always take the first appointment in the morning because I hate getting to the office (any office) early and then waiting an extra hour for my appointment because the person before me came late. It now turns out I am lucky to get an appointment every 9 months (over bookings and new client$). I had an appointment scheduled for February 17, 2025 ( Presidents day) later in the morning because that was the only time slot. The office called me and cancelled that appointment because the Dr. was ill. The next appointment I went into the office to make, there were no early appointments until today - September 16, 2025. I took the first appointment in the morning, was given a card by Carmen at the front desk and at the same time entered it into my phone calendar. Came home and wrote it on my wall calendar - 9 a.m. Sept 16. The last couple of weeks I received numerous calls telling me I had an upcoming appointment. And I received a few e-mails. Perhaps partly my fault because I never received a personal call from the office confirming a time change, I would get the recorded messages and I would hang up, because I was aware that I had a 9 a.m. appointment. I then received some texts that arrive in the midst of my personal upheavals. Again, I never received a call from the office to actually change the appointment time. I received a text, I glanced at it and it said, "type "c" to confirm", I typed C believing my appointment time was as we had scheduled - at 8:00 a.m. When I arrived today, all new people in the office. I believe my hygenist must have retired. I told the girl at the counter I was there for my 8 a.m. appointment. She says, "we have you for 10:00 a.m." I have a card that says 8:00 a.m. and my calendars all say the same. The front desk girl says, "well, wait a minute." She walks to the dental hygenists room and sits at the computer. She returns and says, "well, Carmen will be here at 8:30 a.m., if you'd like to wait for her". What difference would waiting for Carmen do? I waste another 1/2 hour waiting for her, to be told she has it at 10:00 a.m. I told the new girl I was not going to wait for Carmen and that I would just go to a new dentist because cleanings are supposed to be every 6 months, not ever 9 to 12 months, as seems to be occuring trying to get in there. I left and told them thank you, I will be going elsewhere from now on. On my way home I receive a text saying my appointment is at 10:00 a.m. - I got home and call the office and Carmen, says your appointment is at 10:00. I said I have everything showing it was at eight and I received a text just now saying it for 10. She said we sent you a confirmation text and phone calls saying it was at 10 and you confirmed. She said if you want to come it at 10, thats where we have you scheduled. I believe they rescheduled me for some reason and beleived that calling me with recordeded message that may have said 10 a.m. which I don't listen to the whole message because I know my appointment was at 8:00 a.m. I sent a C to the text they sent, because again, I knew I was aware of the appointment. I will from now on scour these messages from each and every doctor and dentist I see, but changing an appointment time without the decency of a personal conversation confirming that a time change works for me would be proper prodocal. For them to change the time and just send me reminders with a different, unagreed to time slot is unprofessional and wasting both their time and mine. I am now searching for a new dentist office, which is a shame, but the new staff they have in there is not a professional or reliable group of employees. Dr. Murolo is an excellent dentist, but his staff should be workiing to reflect his work ethics and not his staffs lack of attention span. When I call to them back when I got home, Carmen was so rude and so condescending that I unfortunately do not want to do business with this office ever again and will no longer be referring new patients to this office because of the situations and scheduling overbooking and changing appointments without confirming that they are convenient. Kind of like saying something costs $8.00 but they send you a bill for $23.00 without telling you they decided that was a better choice for them. read more

I love to actually go to the Dentist now! My entire life, I dreaded going! I love the professionalism from all of the office team! They are wonderful, Fun and funny! They are very thorough. It's a happy place and I never dread going! The front Secretary, Karmen, makes it as easy as she can to get you in and she get's back to you for the next cancellation if they're super busy and you need to get in sooner than later. read more

Great office with great staff! Everyone in the office is very professional and nice. One of my husband's coworkers is a current patient here, and he was the one who told me about this place. Dr. Christopher Murolo is a wonderful dentist! He is very caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind. He listens to you and your concerns and doesn't try to upsell you anything. When I first came, I couldn't bite properly on the right side of my mouth, and my previous dentist kept telling me that there was nothing I could do, so I just kind of got used to it. I lived for years only chewing on the left side. When I told Dr. Murolo about it, he said that that's not the way to live. It took him about 10 minutes to fix it! Omg, I finally can chew and eat on my right side! I am so happy and thankful for that! On my recent visit, I came with a jaw pain. We discovered that the problem was in my wisdom teeth ( I still have all four ), and he referred me to an oral surgeon. Now, I'm going to get my wisdom teeth removed. Karmen is an amazing receptionist! She always greets you with a smile and a warm welcome. About six months ago, I had my teeth cleaned with Linda, and she was the best! Very difficult to get ahold of anyone at this office. No one ever answers the phone. I personally went into their office TWO times. No one sitting at the desk. I stood there for 15 minutes each time. No one came to the desk. I think it's important to keep your office fully staffed. I really wanted to come there as a new patient but I feel like I have to work so hard to make that happen and it shouldn't be like that. Very disappointing. read more

Just need to give a big shout-out to this fabulous dentist! I recently had a cavity replaced/crown put on and had such a great experience (yes, at the dentist!) that I had to post a review. I've been going to Dr. Murolo for several years now and it's hard to find all the right adjectives but will start with incredibly patient, kind, competent, and caring. He carefully explains each procedure, stops to ask if I'm doing okay, and how many dentists do you know who will go and get you a blanket without my even saying I was a little cold (it was a chilly morning and he asked me if I was warm enough - and then voila - a nice warm blanket!) Seriously, no one likes going to the dentist but with his warm and friendly staff and the extra mile everyone at his office goes, you almost forget where you are. read more

I never expected to be writing this review, especially because I genuinely love Dr. Murolo and Linda, the hygienist. However, I had an unfortunate experience with the front desk staff that I feel compelled to share. I recently went in for a cleaning and exam and was told I needed a filling and crown replacement. Since I'm not familiar with dental costs, I asked the front desk lady (I do not know her name and she doesn't include it in text/email communications) if I could get a pre-authorization for my next appointment. She said yes, but when I asked how long that would take, she mentioned it could take "up to 8 weeks." Given that my next appointment was in less than 2 weeks, I asked if she could just provide me with an estimate instead. Her response was that she would prefer to wait for the pre-authorization, since that was what I had asked for. I explained that if the pre-authorization took longer than my next appointment, it wouldn't be helpful, and I just needed an idea of the cost. I didn't expect an exact figure, just a rough estimate. But she remained firm in her decision to not provide any estimate, even after I repeatedly asked for one. Her answers were vague and unhelpful. She kept smiling and repeating that she couldn't provide an estimate because I requested pre-authorization. Eventually, I asked her to send me my records so I could obtain an estimate elsewhere. She agreed, but when I inquired about a more specific timeline, she simply said she would send them "soon." I am being portrayed as the one in the wrong, but I was just seeking clarity. Instead, I received nothing but vagueness and insincere smiles throughout this exchange. When the records did arrive later that day, it was only the x-rays--no treatment codes included, which meant I still couldn't get an estimate. Later, I found out that Dr. Murolo and the rest of the staff believed I was planning to see another dentist, which was never the case. I was frustrated, but I still trusted the office and wanted to work things out. Instead, they decided it would be best for me not to return to the practice at all. This decision was baffling to me. Now, I need a crown ASAP, but I have no dentist to go to and will need to find a new provider who not only takes new patients but can get me in quickly. This means I'll also have to pay for a new exam, as my insurance won't cover two exams back-to-back. I tried to reach out directly to Dr. Murolo, but I was only able to communicate through the front desk staff. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I don't have an unlimited budget for dental work; I simply needed an estimate, and instead, I ended up in this situation. It's truly disappointing, especially because I've always been happy with Dr. Murolo and Linda. But the lack of empathy and professionalism from the front desk staff has left me feeling completely let down. read more

And so......I told you I would write about my treatment. Well, these folks are super. Steph was great, Carmen is a star and dr. Murolo is professional, he listens and most importantly while experiencing dental work, he communicates all throughout the treatment. I have terrible teeth genes. I've experienced many dentists and lots of treatment. Dr. Murolo is seriously one of the best. I had a tooth pulled. It was infected and he cleaned it up. He checked my teeth. He filled another. My anxiety was treated. They earned my trust by being kind and professional all at once. You will love them read more

Great dentist! Friendly, efficient and doesn't try to do work that isn't necessary. He squeezed me in when a large filling broke off a visible tooth and did a great job with the temporary crown. He gave me the option of a fill or a crown, but since I had a root canal many years earlier on the tooth, I opted for a crown to protect the tooth. He took over the practice when my regular dentist (Who was also fantastic) retired after many years of being my family dentist. They take Delta Dental and other insurances as well. I'll be heading back for the crown on Monday. read more

I am new to this practice after having Dr. Murolo recommended by a friend. I am so impressed by everyone in the office from the receptionist and dental hygienist to the doctor. The receptionist is super friendly and accommodating. The hygienist is kind and well informed and finally, the doctor is very professional and lets you know what he is doing or going to do. The whole office puts you at ease. Which is a wonderful quality especially if you are hesitant about going to the dentist. First time going into a dental office where it wasn't an office recommended by my insurance I'm so happy I went to Yelp and found this place! By the way the receptionist was amazing a her job, she made it seem so comfortable. Also I should note the office is so cozy! Warm colors not like every other office cold and gray or white. Christopher Murolo was amazing as well, I explained to him dentist visits often make me very anxious as I've had terrible experiences with dentist visits in the past. I am a very happy patient with my new implant!:) At first I was worried that it could not be done because it was my very last molar on my bottom right side and I could only open my mouth so wide. However, it depended on how wide I could open, stay open and also on Dr. Murolo being able to gain access to the area. I really wanted this tooth so I was willing to do whatever I had to do to get it done! Dr. Murolo and I both worked together and he was able to gain the access that he needed to place the screw into my jaw. Both the Dental Assistant and Dr. Murolo were very attentive, fast and were fully aware of how long I was keeping my mouth open for. They gave me a rest break when I needed one. I was able to get the screw placed that same day with a healing cap. I came back 3 months later and Dr. Murolo screwed in my implant and adjusted my bite. At first the tooth felt bulky. However, Dr. Murolo reassured me that the feeling of bulkiness would go away after a few days and that my tongue was not used to feeling anything in that area for awhile. The feeling of bulkiness went away after 3 days and now it feels like it has always been there. Lisa moved and I followed her! I just had an even better dental experience now that Lisa is at a private office. I got the feeling that dr Murolo is extremely professional and also very warm. This office didn't try to pressure me to buy unnecessary x-rays or services and the front desk was helpful and informative about the option for a private dental insurance program. It is clear that this team cares about their clients and cares about delivering a high level of perfectionism in their services. Lisa's movements are so graceful and gentle, it is like watching an artist the way she switches between the different instruments with ease and without pain. I waited too long in between cleanings but Lisa didn't make me feel embarrassed about it, she made my mouth feel brand new again! I would recommend this dentist and hygienist to anyone. read more

Dr. Murolo is hands down one of the best dentists there is. He is honest and truly loves his craft. I have been a patient of his for the past few years and am have followed him from another dental office. Today I had what I thought was a dental emergency and gave him a call.
