I had fallen and chipped my two front teeth and a few people that I talked to said that it was in a place that couldn't be fixed. When I went in, Dr. Chiang fixed my teeth completely, and right away with no extra scheduled visits. I feel so much more confident about my teeth now! Late in the evening of December 22, I had excruciating pain on the back of my teeth from mouth grinding at night. My wife calls Dr Chiang's office and leaves a voicemail... 9am the next morning we receive a personal call from Dr Chiang :-) and he agrees to see us at 10:20am that morning! Of the 23rd. After X-rays and checkup he found the culprit and was able to set up an appointment for Tuesday the 27th. In the meantime he prescribed medicine to make the pain tolerable for me between now and the 27th. He literally saved my Christmas to mitigate the pain. Thank you thank you Dr Chiang!!! read more

I hate the dentist more than I hate a bucket of live spiders, but dr chiang and his staff put me at ease and got me back to good oral health. Got 4 fillings yesterday and couldn't have gone smoother. Dr. Chiang will always be special to our family. My mom wasn't even his patient, but when she fell and broke her front teeth on a Friday afternoon he came in on a Saturday morning WITH an assistant to fix it. Dr. Chiang is so friendly, knowledgeable, kind, sweet and doesn't rush you. He did a great job on my mom. I can't say enough about Dr. Chiang, his staff, and his practice. I was initially referred here by co-workers and my expectations were exceeded from the moment I stepped in. I had a terrible experience with another dentist here in Sonoma County, and had been without dental insurance for years prior. Those two factors combined to have me both nervous of the costs of dental care, and suspicious of being overcharged/over-diagnosed. I wound up having no choice but to find a new office after a filling broke and I needed a dentist immediately. Dr. Chiang's team got me in right away, and I was SO relieved and comforted by Dr. Chiang giving me an honest, best approach diagnosis. He didn't push me into any expensive procedures, and backed up all of his diagnosis with actual photos of my tooth that he reviewed. I had a follow up appointment yesterday that I wound up being late for. They were completely understanding and accommodating and I cannot say enough for the level of honesty, professional care and personal touch this office provides. If you're tired of being pushed into things by some $$$ motivated office, go see Dr. Chiang. It doesn't hurt that the doctor and his staff are all so funny and friendly. I am so embarrassed with Dr.Chiang! We have been going to Dr.Chiang's office before it was his office. Excellent dentist. The office offers coffee, Tea, cookies, and dental items, now even masks. I am a woman in my fifties and understand rules. I didn't see a sign. I picked up a mask after coming in and using the hand sanitizer offered by his office as well. BUT I MADE AN AWFUL MISTAKE, I helped my self to a mask. Carissa explained in a in a tactful manner that mask I picked up was for staff only and showed me the masks available for the clients. I apologized immediately, but already touched it and kept it. Then before I left in front of other clients and staff some other lady thought she had to make sure I understood her rules clearly a second time. I could not be more embarrassed! So the only thing I could think of doing is to apologize in public. :( read more

I have been coming to this office for years, but I am a newer patient to Dr. Chiang. I cannot give him and his staff enough praise. It is nice to see familiar faces (Carissa and Lynette who are FANTASTIC) as well as meeting the new staff that has been added since I have been there last. Dr. Chiang is very caring, takes his time, and doesn't make you feel rushed. They are very accommodating to busy schedules and make it easy to get in. My wife switched dentists to Dr. Chiang, and when my filling broke and my former dentist couldn't fit me in, they fit me in on short notice to check and fix it. The office staff were very nice and pleasant, and no one made fun when I cried. Okay, I didn't cry, it was really smooth work on my farthest back bottom molar. I recently went in to have my teeth cleaned and had a great experience! The staff at Robert Chiang, DDS were very friendly and welcoming. My cleaning with the Hygienist was very comfortable - I normally find that to be the worst part. They have very up to date technology and were able to take some pictures of potential problem areas. The Dentist, Robert came in afterward to do an exam. He was very personable and professional. He took the time to explain and show me some areas that could need attention in the future. I normally dread going to the Dentist but found this experience to be pleasant. I will definitely be going back. read more

Dr. Chiang was the best I have seen in a long time. After my primary dentist who I had been going to for nearly 12 years sold her practice, I bounced around with 2 other dentists and they were both severely lacking. I had a botched filling from one dentist that had caused me a lot of pain for nearly 2 years. I tried a different dentist to get it fixed, and they couldn't figure out how to get me numb, even with 6 shots. It was a mess, and I started to feel like I would just have to live with a bad filling and tooth sensitivity. Then I finally got some new dental insurance, and my fiancé recommended me to Dr. Chiang. My fiancé went to him with a tooth emergency and it was fixed asap. He also made it clear to Dr. Chiang he needs to be mindful of the cost, and that's exactly what Dr. Chiang did for him. I was excited to hear about a dentist who didn't seem to be a money grabbing, invisalign pushing type. I showed up to my appointment, his front office staff were super sweet, professional, and all around presented a really warm and welcoming environment. It instantly made me feel more like I was at home with my old family dentist, so far so good! Then I'm getting my exam and my filling fixed, this was the part I was nervous about, I had 2 bad experiences so far with this tooth and I was praying that 3rd time would be the charm. It was! Dr. Chiang got me numb with 3 shots, a "anesthesia cocktail" he called it, and he fixed the filling no problem. I can finally eat hard food and drink cold/hot drinks on the left side of my mouth again! Then, to top it off, I kind of "tested" him by talking to him about braces, I was curious if he would instantly push invisalign on me as so many dentists seem to do nowadays. His response? "Yes we do offer invisalign but I really recommend you go to an orthodontist to get a consultation on what is the best treatment for you. You have a lot of crowding and I'm not sure invisalign would be best." Hearing a dentist do the right thing for his patient was truly the icing on the cake for my visit. He didn't push any treatments, he kept costs low, he kept my experience pain free, and best of all? He was so incredibly genuine. Dr. Chiang is the type of dentist all others should strive to be, he and his entire office had such a wonderful, welcoming, and genuine presence. I made an immediate follow up appointment for my regular exam/cleaning. As weird as it sounds, I can't wait! Thank you Dr. Chiang and your entire team for the type of experience I had been missing for so long, you are now my new official dentist! read more
