I don't usually take the time to write reviews, however, this time it is my pleasure to write this review. From the beginning of the process with Patio Partners your staff made everything easy. Clark came to our home on schedule, took measurements for our proposed awning, explained the entire process, went over the available awning materials and colors, and drew up a preliminary plot plan (which he personally delivered back to our home) which I presented to our HOA for approval. I went by Patio Partners' office and gave the HOA approved paperwork to Vanessa, who arranged to have the plan professionally drafted and then she took care of the permit process with the City. I feel it is important to explain this part of the process in detail because many other contractors do not fully participate in the entire permit process but Patio Partners does and thanks to Clark, Vanessa and Jamie it was streamlined and a minimal effort for us. The only delay in the whole process was waiting for the City to review and approve the permit. After the City's blessing Edward (hard worker) showed up on schedule and did a great job digging the very sizable pier holes (30" X 30" X 30" per the City's specifications) for the awning posts. Next the installers, Chad and Mike, arrived on schedule and completed the entire installation in two days (during cold rainy weather) which included pouring the concrete for the awning posts. Through the whole installation I spent a lot of time watching and visiting with Mike and Chad who were very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I am a carpenter and I previously owned and operated an excavation business and I'm impressed with Chad's and Mikes skills and craftsmanship. Needless to say, whether Chad and Mike or Brandon and Paul install your awning you should be as pleased as we are with the final product. We recommend Patio Partners to anyone. Greg Hope read more

This is a review of this company, though admittedly, I ultimately did not use their services. Upon my request for a a window awning installation consult, Mike W. arrived to my home early for his appointment. He quickly assessed my requests, and very politely, but regretfully, informed me that his company did not in fact manufacture or install the type of awning that I had visualized for my home. He THEN proceeded to politely offer me a recommendation on a company that could perform the work that I was requesting. However, he wasn't yet finished. He THEN proceeded to walk around my home, in 100 degree weather, and take the window measurements ANYWAY, so that I would be able to "give them to the next guy", whomever it ends up being, to help save him the work of doing so. What? Seriously? I felt like I was the main sucker being filmed for an episode of The Twilight Zone, Candid Camera, and Punked. Nope, he was just that great. I truly wish that I did have a project for Mike W. to work on. You frequently read negative reviews stating the desire to leave LESS than one star, if it were possible to do so. Our home is situated in a north/south configuration, meaning the sun is shining directly on the south side of the house for the better part of the day. That's great for solar panels, but not so great for our patio or back windows or back patio door. We saw an ad in our HOA magazine for Phoenix Patio Systems, had their salesman Doug out for a quote, and liked what he had to say so much we signed a contract the same day. Phoenix Patio Systems has an excellent product, durable and beautiful. They also offer an excellent price for their product. Their crew was professional and the cover has enhanced our back yard immeasurably. The patio cover has created a feeling of a back yard room instead of just sitting outside in the sun. Now the best part ~ our HOA ~ the same one that advertised Phoenix Patio Systems ~ denied our request to put the patio cover in! Doug stood by us and came to our Board meeting to help us get it approved. His professionalism and knowledge did the trick. WOW!!! I have to say I was unsure of having a "Patio Awning" put in the front of the house to protect the sun because my front door faces south. I worked with the salesperson Ken and he had some great ideas and assured me it will look nice with the design and colors I chose. Then the installer came and his name was Brandon , he was Amazing and very professional. The A+ quality install job he did was surpassed by his sense of my concern and the design I chose and how it would look from the street. He helped ease my worry and came up with some design options during the install and allowed me to make changes to make me happy and on top of it came up with some GREAT ideas and the final result made me love it even more. We added a second cover to the side of the main house and it looks great as well. I would recommend this company to everyone with the First Class service. read more

We recently purchased two pergolas (aluminum lattice covers) from Patio Partners; one for our courtyard and one for the back patio. What a fantastic job they did! Clark Hoy, Design Partner, knew exactly what he was talking about in the design. The engineer worked with our city for permits, and provided the information we needed to present to our HOA for approval. Then, the high quality Elitewood aluminum materials arrived. Installers Brandon and Jamie worked diligently and with precision installing the pergolas. The man who dug the posts had to remove pavers and travertine tiles for the posts. He did an excellent job resetting both. (Sorry, I forgot his name.) We couldn't be happier!!
