Don't waste your time on faulty products, up charged prices, with the WORST customer service! I ordered umbrellas because our current umbrellas (bought from Pottery Barn) faded in just one season and the poles themselves rusted through with holes in them. I was told that because Patio.com sells these year round, they have better quality items with warranties. I was assured these would not rust, fade, or break. There was a delay in shipping because of COVID and a run on orders from businesses creating outdoor spaces for customers so we received them in the fall (after the pool was closed). We stored them in the house until the pool opened this year. When we opened them for the first time this summer, the umbrella snapped. Immediately upon opening. When I contacted the store, I was given the run around and told that all of the people I worked with for the original purchase were no longer working with that store. To this day, I don't know why that matters. I finally was given a different number for customer service and left a message. I received an email back that I would have to pay for shipping for a new umbrella. I called again and asked to please speak with someone. I finally spoke to a woman who agreed that it didn't seem appropriate that I would have to pay to replacement an item that was clearly shipped damaged. I was then told that it would be taken care of. That was over 30 days ago. I have heard nothing from them about a replacement, and have not received a call back. Say what you will about Pottery Barn but at least those umbrellas still open and function as umbrellas...even if the fabric is weirdly faded after a single season. read more

If i could give -5 starts i would. My wife and I were looking to get a patio dining set for our new home. We were going to go to the typical spots(Lowes, Home Depot, Ray&Flan etc) but stopped here late in a Sunday night first figuring this is their specialty. We saw a nice 4 chair table set with umbrella and thought it was very beautiful. I could swear it started at about $2800 but by the time you add the cushions etc somehow it had jumped to $4500. My wife was so excited that i greed and we started the final sale session. At the very end the salesperson casually mentions it wont be delivered until early June because of COVID blah blah...That sort of set me back but i went with it. he handed us the sales agreement wrapped up in a packet. After we left i just couldn't stop thinking this was just wrong to wait so long. But when i got the agreement out it stated words to the effect of "no cancellations/refunds". well the store had closed so the next morning my wife called and they reiterated the store policy of no cancelations or refunds of any kind. when my wife explained that we had just been in there 15 hours before they said they would speak to the manager. A few hours later they called us back and said the best they could do was to charge us a %35 re-stocking fee($1500). When we said what restocking we were in the 15 hrs ago ion a Sunday...its not like it has been assembled/delivered there was silence on the phone. Needless to say this place is a scam of overpriced but beautiful stuff. Pls be aware oif the no refund/cancel policy because because no one ever mentioned this and there are no signs in the showroom stating any of that!! read more

NEVER EVER buy anything from this store. They do not stand behind their products. Bought EXPENSIVE patio set from them. It started to rust the first week. Some of the wicker broke the first time I sat on it. What did they do - TOLD ME TO USE WD40 and get a wicker repair kit! Buyer beware - not a reputable Patio.com location. read more

We purchased a beautiful teak table from the Ridgefield store. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the table after having it for only a few weeks. The store worked fast to resolve the issue by replacing for a brand new table. read more

I purchased the largest TEAK TABLE they sell. Expands to over 120 inches. The first time we tried to extend it, we saw that the wires under the table that control the extension were COMPLETELY RUSTED. This s an exterior teak table that shouldn't have been made of anything that rusts. PATIO.COM acknowledged the defect and told me that in order toget it fixed, I HAD TO BRING THE TABLE TO THEIR WAREHOUSE IN STAMFORD. This table weighs over 200 pounds and is enormous, impossible for a consumer without a trailer to move. They REFUSE to come to my house to fix it and want to charge me $300 to transport it back and forth to correct this MANUFACTURER defect. They also refuse to supply me with a copy of the warranty after several email requests. Pathetic, and I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from PATIO.COM again, and will discourage my friends from as well.
