Okay, I wish the 3 star rating said anything but "A-ok!" Because, while this store has some lovely…read moreand unique things, there are two problems: 1. This is a packed-to-the-gills gift shop with a nice selection, everything from kiddie items to women's clothing and jewelry, to the full gamut of the "Home Goods" type of great little things for the home. And even specialty items for men, BUT--they have one rather major flaw: THEY DO NOT GIFT WRAP (!!!) WHAT KIND OF A GIFT SHOP DOESN'T GIFT WRAP FOR YOU? The whole reason for going to a privately-owned gift shop like this, rather than Home Goods, Marshall's, TJ's, or even online, etc, is to get personalized service, and that SHOULD include gift wrapping--at least, for as long as I've been going to gift shops (and that's quite a long time, lol). If I'm going to pay regular retail price, then I expect better--gift wrap and all. Tsk, tsk, Queen Street! You can do better, especially at Christmas! 2. Though she seems to try to contain herself, the lady up front is always a little cranky. Not pleasant. :/

Incidentally the store has a new owner since summertime 2018 and I've noticed she has decluttered the aisles a bit since taking over. I was at first a little concerned there would be less things to choose from but actually they have been bringing in many great new items and I think the new owner has a good flair for choosing products for the store.

That may be true - it has not changed much over the years, but their stock is constantly updated with new and current fabrics. This is where designers go for a great selection at a fair price.
