I had a not so easy to fix pool table issue, but Mike took the time to figure it out and in the end it all worked out.

I walked into a building where bowling, pool tables, ping pong, karaoke rooms, rhythm games, claw machines, and pinball all occupy different sections of the floor, and the energy in the space was consistent from the moment I arrived. The arcade is the strongest part of the offering, and this location carries imported games from Japan that I do not find at most American arcades. That is a meaningful distinction for rhythm game players and anyone familiar with the Japanese arcade scene. The claw machines rotate prizes regularly, and the selection of plushies is good, though individual machine difficulty varies considerably and some are more winnable than others. Coming in on a weeknight meant lighter crowds and better access to machines, but it also meant some claw machines were not fully stocked, so flagging a staff member to set up a machine if what I wanted was unavailable is worth doing. The facility is large and reasonably clean, though it gets loud during peak hours and seating for adults who are not actively playing is limited. Weeknight visits offer a noticeably more relaxed version of the same space. For a group activity destination on Long Island, Round1 delivers on variety and energy, even if individual elements like claw machine consistency have their limitations.

Luckily we were able to claw some stuffies, some key chains and win some prizes! We got a total of 1,138 tickets which we will save for next time. Round 1 will always have a special place in my heart. Our family loves creating so many memories there. I will definitely recommend Round 1 to family & friends. Two thumbs up from me!

We ordered some basic food. I was dying for a French onion soup and was happy to see they had one on the menu. Eh. It wasn't great. I've had much, much better. It didn't curb my craving because I couldn't finish it. Lacked flavor in every way imaginable. This was the low part of our visit. Everything else was great. I had the Zingers salad. Naturally, I forgot the sauce I chose, but it was delicious! Paired nicely with the fresh veggies. I'd get it again for sure. The chicken was nice and tender. My hubs had the wings combo and shared fries and mozzarella sticks with our daughter. They liked their meals. You really can't go wrong with wings, fries and sticks. The star of the show was the Boom Boom Shrimp, hence the picture shows how we dove in without even thinking to take a Pic first. Packed with so much flavor, my mouth waters as I type this. Shrimp tossed In a creamy, spicy, tangy sauce over cabbage slaw had us salivating. So, so good. Perhaps we shall visit another time. The shrimp are calling. Our server was fantastic! Now ask me if I remember his name. ‍

I came here to watch the final of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision Miami vs. Indiana with a couple of my cousins. The Ambiance of the bar is pretty good, a very cozy sports bar. For our appetizer, we started sharing the chicken buffalo wings, and fried cheese curds. The Fried Cheese Curds were crunchy outside and warm, gooey, and slightly chewy inside, a field of cheeses, very delicious a great option to share across a big party. The wings were crunchy, and well season, and delicious. I also order famous burger, The Ale House Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion Topped with Island Dressing, my burger was cooked medium and the cut was pretty good the bacon was crispy, and my meat was super delicious and juicy, For my drinks, I had the beer no alcoholic Athletic Run Wild IPA all night surprise it taste similar to an IPA. The bartender did a good job.

They couldn't even have been sitting under the warmer bc they were cold. She never came back to ask how anything was once the food dropped and I sat there with my wings getting colder. I actually had to ask for a box and the check bc the table was never touched. I was going to go today for the soccer game but my friend refused. Awful.

This place had a pool table and modern juke box and plenty of TV's. They also have darts if you want to play. I like having something to do when I'm waiting for my drunk friends to finish drinking. They also have a huge selection of liquor and beer and there are reasonably priced. That's great if your buying drinks for friends. I really liked the lighting in the bar, it was enough to see without that adjusting period. They had comfortable seats and tall boy around the bar. The bartender, Mike, was wonderful! He talked a lot and knew his sports. We must have talked for a hour regarding all sports. I enjoyed everything about this place. This is a place you can come with friends or come alone to meet people. This is definitely a Hicksville spot that you need to check out if you're a nite person. Hopefully I see you here.

It took a long time for the bartender to even serve my son, so he told he his friend had put his drinks on her tab. -When they decided to pay, my son's friend paid for most of their drinks but he wanted to get one last beer. As he went to tip the bartender who was an older gentleman, the bartender took a look at my sons nails and said "I don't want your money" in a very rude and harsh tone, when my son asked why, the bartender scoffed at him and did not answer. I don't know how this is acceptable, my son came home very upset, and while I understand everyone has different views on the way men should present themselves, this is no excuse to be rude to a customer. Needless to say they told all of their friends about it and will still tell the story to this day. Shame on that bartender, grow up!
