Then, we didn't see our waitress for a long time until we finally asked the water guy to ask her to stop by. Which took a while again. We ordered more drinks. My son's soda was flat and my old fashioned tasted like it had a bite like rye vs bourbon, but I ignored it and drank it. About halfway through it changed to sweet - but so sweet it was like drinking syrup. It was never stirred so the bottom half was undrinkable. We asked for our waitress to get the check, and asked her to remove the flat soda and my old fashioned. She brought the check, nothing was removed. I explained again and asked the drinks to be removed. Next the bar manager came to our table. She explained to me how old fashioneds are made, that they're never stirred. And some people sip them, some drink them with a straw. I've drank old fashioneds for many years. They are always stirred. And never drank with a straw. But she claimed she's made these for years. Someone else came and told us she could take off the soda but not the old fashioned. I said I only drank half as they took it away. Well they won't take it off. So I asked for half my drink back if I have to pay for it. They gave me a new small drink. It was terrible. We paid the check, tipped the waitress in cash (she did nothing wrong other than being too busy). I cannot get over the bar manager speaking to me that way. We will not be back.

I'm not a big fan of pita chips so I substituted for chips and it definitely accommodated it really well. The drinks were well balanced as far as the place looks really amazing. Very quiet. I just me and my cousin in here for his birthday staff's pretty cool. I'm gonna be service recommended the wings. I'm actually taking some wings to go. Arriving, the space is bright and airy. At the table there was a lovely potted plant with our reservation name which we were able to take home with us. Such a nice touch. The trivia was really fun and something different to do. We started off with the maple bacon donut holes for the table. They came out piping hot and had the perfect donut texture. They were so good. They have a lot of cocktails and cocktails to choose from. I opted for the Spritz which was a light Aperol Spritz and it was perfect for brunch. The Paloma was also quite good. I had the Tap Stack which was pancakes layered with bacon and topped with a corn flake crusted chicken cutlet. The portion was large and hearty. The chicken was so crunchy and yummy. The bacon was perfectly cooked. The pancakes were a bit on the tough and dry side. The breakfast burrito, BEC and brunch burger were all good and everyone enjoyed their meals. Mother's Day is a day I always avoided eating out on, but Taproom changed my mind about going out on Mother's Day could actually be enjoyable!

From the moment you walk in you're greeted by 90s nostalgia that looks like it was bought from the…read morethrift store. Dirty hanging empty VHS boxes dangling like dust filled disco balls. While old episodes of "Nick At Night" play on one of the bar screens, as mock "scrambled porn" plays on another. The few tables that line the wall behind the bar are small and cramped. The very small beer menu was nothing special. The two IPAs were out and the ones that were not were warm. Beer should not be warm coming out of the tap. The canned and bottled beers were not too far off. The food looked like some supermarket frozen food section stuff. Over priced, over fried and cold in the middle. The music played overhead is early 2000s emo and punk which is cool. But does not fit with the aesthetic of 90s nostalgia. The staff is unprofessional and some rude. Vaping behind the bar, drinking, and taking their time letting lines build up. They also let way too many people in. It came to the point where it felt like you were on the subway going home during rush hour. Shoulder to shoulder, back to back -- not a good feeling at a dive bar. If you're not gonna listen to Drake and drive to the bar -- the parking lot is a single lane joke. Park down one of the side streets.

We got here and they only had a few appetizers and drinks in their menu. I showed the server the menu online and she asked the manager and they said they don't know but do not have those items. So the menu online the website is false. You won't get a Krabby patty or a good burger or Tommy's fried pickles. Also we came during an event which was nice but why would you have a scream band playing in a 90s theme bar? They played a few songs from the 90s but mostly scream which is not the vibe we were expecting from the bar. It was nice that they played Nickelodeon and Pokemon on the TVs by the bat, but that did not make up for the food or vibe. The food wasn't even all that good. Literally the mozzarella sticks tasted like the frozen ones heated up in the microwave. The buffalo wings had good flavor but the outer shell was cooked to much. Overall it did not have the 90s vibe experience their website made the place out to be.
