That initial visit was amazingly successful. Within 90 days, the issue I'd dealt with for years was gone. Since that time, I've returned to Dr Romero whenever I'm feeling out of balance. He can readily assess where my discomfort is coming from and provides the relief I need in the immediate and suggests an appropriate treatment plan to make certain the treatment provided is longstanding. Today, I went to Dr Romero for a neck and shoulder ache that I thought could be a pulled muscle. He saw/ felt differently and in minutes alleviated the pain I'd had for several days. He is a gifted chiropractor who truly knows body structure. His office is also very well run and is managed efficiently by his wife Cindy. A great experience start to finish. I'm thankful for his care, and recommend him highly.

Fantastic Surgery Center -- we are relatively new to the area and I had to have surgery on my hand…read more I've heard from several people that Dr. James Lin is the best in the Monterey area... and everything I heard is true... Dr. Lin is amazing. I was so nervous (and scared, if I'm being completely honest). I had my surgery done at the Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center on Cass St. The surgery center is in an older building, but once I stepped inside, the woman behind the front desk put me at ease. And when I was brought to the back area to prepare for my surgery, almost all of my worries were pretty much forgotten. The staff at the surgery center was professional and warm (maybe they could tell that I was nervous). Brian took my blood pressure, etc. He was very nice. Talking to him was like talking to a good friend. The nurses and other medical staff (Dana, Vicky, Alice, and Richard) were just as friendly. In my humble opinion, bedside manner really counts. Another thing I noticed is that the facility was VERY clean and well-organized. Before I went to the area where I would change into my gown, I went to the restroom ... it was spotless (extra points for that!). A nice touch was Dr. Lin asking me what music I wanted in the operating room.

Thank you to all of you, and also the 2 new nurses introduced to me in the operating room as I was saying hello while succumbing to the anesthesia. I remember laughing to myself as they wheeled me down the hall, and saying I felt like a famous formula 1 driver and they were my superstar pit crew! Thanks again for making a surgery day go smooth and without fear.
