Jason is an incredibly skilled rolfer/SI specialist and an even better person. I have benefited…read moretremendously from his knowledge and skill. When I first reached out to him, I didn't have any particular pain issues other than wanting to improve posture and general mobility in my joints. I had tried another rolfer in the area and it just wasn't a good fit for me (personality and results wise). However, as I am a pretty active person (yoga/gymnastics/weightlifting) things come up quite frequently. Issues come up, you sleep on your neck incorrectly, you are unnaturally tight in some area, etc. In these situations, your standard massage is not going to cut it (though you will feel very relaxed which is its own sort of therapy). To cut to the chase, I've never had a session where I didn't feel better (feeling like my body is just working better as a mechanical unit) upon leaving. One example that stands out is that I was introduced to a new stretch in a handstand class that revealed some serious weaknesses in my carpal tunnel area of one of my hands. After the class, I was unable to move my hand in a certain way and it was quite painful. After a session with Jason, I was able to regain mobility of my hand immediately afterwards, though it was still a little sore. However, the next day my hand was back to normal. I realize that this type of miraculous recovery is a rare case, however, I think it speaks to the quality of his technique and knowledge that he knew exactly how to address it. As with most people who are talented and have a true passion for their field, Jason is in high demand. If I had to come up with a downside, it would be that you may not be able to just "hop in" to his schedule. He likely will recommend you to someone else but in my opinion I would just wait until something opens up. I would recommend Jason to anyone looking for the next level of bodywork, any active person who gets dinged up from time to time, or anyone who sits at a desk for work. He is also a deep know-er and seeker of all sorts of knowledge and is very approachable.

I also have leg problems (from knee and ankle problems/surgeries) and massage therapy is one of the only ways to alleviate the tension and pain. I needed someone nearby and last minute and found Pete here on Yelp! I shot him a message from his website and was very impressed when he responded within an hour or so with availabilities. A 90-minute session was scheduled the same day. I was expecting the location to be at the address listed here in Yelp!, as it is down the street from my house, but the location I went to is right across the street from the Wiehle-Reston metro station, which is down the street from my job so it ended up working itself out. No biggie. I have had many massages from across the globe and I can genuinely say that Pete is one of the top 2 best massage therapists I have ever experienced. He made the experience very comfortable, focused on all the problem areas of my body, applied the perfect amount of pressure and is good at reading body language. He used some techniques I've never seen before and they were AWESOME. After our 90-minute deep tissue massage session, all tension was relieved from all over my body and I felt absolutely refreshed. I will most definitely be going back to see Pete for my massage therapy needs! He is FANTASTIC and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I originally found Zach on Yelp after many disappointing massage sessions that was an utter waste…read moreof money and did nothing for my knots. But after reading all the positive reviews of Zach, I decided to give his practice a try. He had sent me a text asking if I could come in later because he needed sufficient time to clean - which I was very glad to work around that and am thankful he's taking his/and our health seriously. He gave a tour of his office upon arrival and shows me the air filtration system and multiple fans he had going on in his office. Again, I was impressed with the cleanliness of his office. The massage itself was wonderful, I went in for a pain area in my shoulder, and can finally move my arms again after several weeks of chiropractor visits. Zach worked on my pain areas, and educated me on other muscle groups that contributed to my pain area. This helps me recover and re-focus on what I need to do at home to fully recover. I plan on visiting Zach's practice in the future for my other athletic needs. Glad to have found such a gem on Groupon!

I had found him through Groupon, but I will definitely be visiting him again for other massages. I was able to schedule and book online and then fill out the necessary forms in advance. He was familiar with my medical conditions and medications and took note of those before starting the massage. He was gentle, yet firm, and continued to check with me to make sure the pressure was good and not too much. The office setting is beautiful. You really feel like you are in the woods somewhere away from traffic and any city. Yet his office is close enough to major highways and parkway's to get you both to his office and to your home. I highly recommend a visit with Zach for a massage if you are in pain or just need a relaxing massage.

I hadn't had any massage since my shoulder surgery a year ago. He was extremely attentive to my concerns about that area, but once he was working on that shoulder, I wasn't even paying attention to the fact that it was my bad one. He was awesome to talk to throughout the massage - I really hate it when the massage therapist doesn't talk to you at all...I know not everyone does, but I personally like talking during it. I was completely comfortable with him from the beginning, which is so important. I honestly liked the setting - I went there in the evening, and belly dance classes were in full swing, it gave it a fun feel. When I can afford another massage, I will definitely be going back to him. I won't even consider trying a new place.
