The store had just opened so I was one of the first ones to get their juice. I saw that the man was not wearing gloves but didn't care much at this point since he was just cleaning up from last pour. Next he started the machine to rinse it out with wayer, without wearing gloves. Basically using his bare hands to clean the machine. He proceeded to stick his finger in the spout where the juice comes out from. He started cutting the lime and ginger without his gloves. At this point I lost my appetite because his nails were long and he had accidentally cut part of his nail off, pulled it off and threw it somewhere. I was so grossed out that I walked back in the store and asked for the refund. I let the cashier know what happened and nobody seemed to care. Awfully disappointed and disgusted. Again this review is just for the fresh juice station outside. This is how people get sick.

Wegmans is the kind of grocery store I truly look forward to visiting. What I love about Wegmans is…read morethat they have some unique and delicious offerings, specifically within their bakery. The cheese bread is so soft and yummy. I also love their mousse cake, eclairs, and chocolate teacups. Most grocery stores don't have a bakery with high quality desserts like these. In the frozen section, they also carry my favorite ice cream, which no other retailer carries at the moment. I will say, some of the ready-to-eat options are not the best. The sushi is still grocery store sushi and by no means exceeds expectations. I often pick up a hot sub, which also isn't the best I've had, but it does the trick. When I do need to order things at one of these stations, the service here is really nice. Wegmans also has a pretty nice seating area if you're stopping in for a meal. Wegmans is truly a dream grocery store.

Where WF excels is in prepared foods that are universally tasty and of exceptional quality that you will certainly have to dig deep for. You have to wonder now that "organic" proliferates at deep discount shops like ALDI how much longer WF will be saddled with the overpriced rep. No matter, the store is clean and the staff is helpful to a fault. The good and bad news is that given +35% food inflation since 2020, you can now apply the "Whole Paycheck" sobriquet to any grocer you walk into. Four strong stars.

The place is ambient, produce is fresh at all times, checkout including self checkout are smooth and the customer service is impeccable. Amazon Prime members get discounted price with a QR code from the app. Now coming to why I would rate this place a star less- I mostly frequent this place for the water refills and there have been instances when the lines are long due to a spout issue where the water would stream thin or the water service being totally unavailable due to mechanical issues with the system. This is a common problem with the Bridgewater location too and I hope Whole Foods brings about a change to either make it available at all times or bring in some form of notification system for signed up customers.

My only suggestions is that more self-service check out stations get opened. Only one or two were functioning and maybe four were out of order. This created a pretty long wait in line to pay. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to really shop because I didn't have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. In this day and age, I feel this system needs to be modernized. There should be an electronic option, a change machine similar to the ones found in old laundromats, or at the very least, shopping baskets available. If customers cannot easily get a cart or basket, how are they expected to shop? This outdated system may actually discourage potential customers and cause the store to lose business. Hopefully, Aldi will eventually modernize this part of the shopping experience. If I remember to keep a few quarters in my car, I may give them another try. I'm still curious to see how their prices compare and whether the quality of their food makes the extra effort worthwhile.
