I am so glad I gave this place a try. It's a bit of a drive from Linden but so worth it. The food selection is huge and the store itself is very organized, neat and a little upscale. The service was also great. Cashiers were very attentive and pleasant. The flowers selection is also too notch! I will keep coming back here for custom cakes, pastries and flowers!

Wegman's is a high priced supermarket. The fruits look tempting. The plums and peaches are big and gorgeous looking. The prices are high for fruits that are not even organic. So if you want a gorgeous looking plum, you can get it here but that doesn't mean on the inside it will be sweet, as mine weren't. Even a beautiful outside does not equate to a sweet inside. prepared goods section is extremely pricey and I find higher than Whole Foods. There are some good things too. The cut flowers look lovely. The displays are well designed. They sell twelve cans of Poppi soda in a package and you can buy just the flavor you like. Meat and produce look fresh and there are some samples plus the market is big and spacious. Some sections look like a no frills warehouse but other sections like the produce and prepared foods has ambiance. The place is clean and it looks like where the money folks shop!

This is a great grocery store. No matter what you're looking for they probably have it. Not only have it but it's freshly prepared. They're fully staffed. The inventory is large and they save waste and money on bagging because you bring your own shopping bags. There are a lot of options for those that like to cook themselves and there are just as many options available for those that want already prepared meals. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Plenty of pescatarian options available and paleo and gluten free options available too. Seafood lovers will have a party. Whatever your preference, there's an option for you!

Wegman's jelly and Boston Crème donuts!

Stay away from Wegman's bakery. I bought my favorite donuts at Wegman's bakery recently and found a drop of raspberry jam in their jelly donuts and a drop of cream in their Boston Crème's! After I talked to the personal behind the donut racks during a next visit, they informed me that their donuts are not made on premises and are shipped in from outside bakery! I couldn't believe my ears! This makes me wonder how many other Wegman's products are shipped in from outside distributors and sold under a Wegman's label. I know Livoti's of Freehold does this same practice with all their prepared foods and I do not patronize that family business anymore. I am know adding Wegman's to my list of banned local businesses. Especially business who charge their customers top dollar for their products!

I love wegmans. Great food. Their produce is ALWAYS fresh. I have no clue how but their fruit is always ripe and ready to eat! I love their prepared foods also from sushi to sandwiches. Their rotisserie's in a bag are pretty juicy and flavorful too.

Wegmans is huge and very well organized. I specifically came to buy flowers. The flowers are beautiful and reasonably priced. I bought tulips for $6. I walked by the produce section which again is huge and everything was fresh. The bakery has a big variety of desserts that all looked delicious. They also have a section of prepared foods, there was a lot to chose from. This will definitely be my go to place when I want to by fresh cut flowers.

Im really wanting to start shopping here i usually go to bjs wholesale in old bridge so i wonder is it cheaper to shop at wegmans or stay with bj's?

At the time I came, there weren't many people shopping so I was able to get a closer look at the products! Prices are decent and even better when the items are on sale! Then the groceries do not hurt the pocketbook as much! The sales are good here! Good produce section and lots of frozen fruit pulps with exotic fruits of some I have never seen before like Lulo, until I saw the fresh Lulo too at the produce section along with giant cactus pieces and cactus fruit! There was a box of frozen breadfruit which looked like giant cherimoyas! Boxes of tamarind, fresh and dried poblanos could be had here. Lots of Latin products and even green Puerto Rican Sofrito! Household items tend to be more here. If you need a broom, check the various other stores on Smith Street for better prices. I spied Mexican pan as well as lots of cookies, crackers and guava pastes galore! There were pastilles rolled sheets, twine and empanada wrappers! You can get fresh pork rinds at $12.99 a pound as well as other hot prepared foods. At the time I went, there were some hot foods on display! Big fried empanadas too! I hope to come back to check out the Supremo again! I will take the advice of the fellow Yelper and bring cash too! Otherwise, a pleasant find during this trip!

** Great Selection and Fresh Produce!**…read more Lotte Market is one of the better Asian grocery stores around--definitely a go-to if you're looking for a wide variety of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian ingredients under one roof. The store is clean, well-organized, and the produce section is surprisingly fresh with lots of options you don't usually find in regular supermarkets. The seafood section is a standout--plenty of fresh fish and shellfish, and they even clean or cut it for you on request. The meat section is also well-stocked with cuts popular in Asian cuisine. You'll find everything from marinated bulgogi to hotpot essentials. There's a great range of snacks, noodles, sauces, frozen dumplings, and ready-to-eat meals. The in-store bakery and food court are added bonuses--try the Korean fried chicken or fresh buns! Parking is usually decent, but weekends can get crowded. Prices are a little on the higher side compared to smaller ethnic stores, but the convenience and variety make up for it. Service and billing slower at times Still, highly recommended for any Asian grocery shopping needs!

Sometimes H Mart feels like it was purposefully designed to have that chaos in mind, like you're meant to get overwhelmed by the sheer amount and variety of goods they offer, to meander through their tighter layout to discover something. Adds to the bustling atmosphere. Kind of like Costco and Trader Joe's. You're always going to leave buying something you never intended to. H Mart tends to cost more than the other Asian markets and caters more towards the youth. Lotte has the cleanliness of H Mart with nearly as much ethnic goods as them, if not more in the South and Southeast Asian department. Their overall design and layout is simpler so it's easier and faster to find what you need. They have pretty consistent sales to boot. Peace and quiet, great for elders and families. Lotte remains to be the most balanced and the IDEAL in terms of shopping experience, variety, quality, and value of all of the Asian markets. Go to the back past 6pm for 30-50% off discounted prepared food. I personally find some of their items, like kimbap, to be better than H Mart's. Food court is also significantly less busy than H Mart's.

Would I recommend it? Yes. Is it worth seeing once? Also yes. It has that big, theatrical, old-school deli energy where the portions are part of the show. That said, I'm not in the camp that every good restaurant is automatically a five-star spot. When everything is a five, it gets harder to separate the truly elite places, the hometown heroes, and the restaurants worth planning a trip around. Harold's lands for me as a very solid three-point-something, graciously rounded to four because they have a Marine Corps flag hung in reception. The food was good, the portions were whatever you make it, and the whole place has novelty value without feeling like a total gimmick. The sandwiches are large enough to satisfy a hungry, medium-sized guy without completely defeating him. And honestly, on a menu full of meat, my favorite thing may have been the healthy pickled salad/pickle bar situation -- bright, crunchy, and a great counterbalance to the heavier deli classics. My biggest knock was the service atmosphere. There seemed to be an army of staff, but not much interaction beyond their phones. Maybe I caught it at an off time, and maybe the place comes alive when it's packed, but that kept the experience from feeling warmer or more special. Overall: fun stop, good food, convenient location, and worth doing if you're passing through. Memorable four.
