Aston is amazing! We had a 270 degree fire place that had damage done to the stucco (exposed brick, holes, etc). I wish I had before pics so you could see how bad of shape it was in. Aston came in and made the fireplace look incredible. As you can see there are hard ares to plaster (the corners and steps). The thing looks flawless. Aston did great work repairing my lath and plaster wall. We had a wall heater installed and he patched the hole that was made around the heater. My house is 100 years old and has textured walls, and I was worried about getting gather texture to match. He did a great job matching the texture! Aston is as wonderful as everyone has said. His work is top-notch - he takes extra care to make sure it is perfect, and it shows. He is also excellent to work with. From the initial consult to the clean up, he was professional, respectful, and kind. We hired Aston to plaster a wall that previously had wood panelling on it, and he made it look perfect, including fixing the ceiling where the panelling previously covered it. We also hired him to fill a hole in the wall from a wall A/C unit we had removed. He did excellent drywall work on the inside and perfect stucco work on the outside, including removing the braces and patching up where they had been, even though that was not initially part of the project. He took great care to match the textures both inside and out, and other than paint color, you cannot tell there used to be a giant hole in the wall. As further testament to his professionalism, Aston had a family emergency come up on the second day of our project, but he still came by to discuss with us a schedule change and worked extra hard to prioritize his jobs and find a time that worked for us and him. So over Slab Leak, RePipe, disaster holes in walls, stray cat had kittens in the back yard so I can't have the holes patched for 6 weeks so she doesn't spook out and leave me with those little buggers to raise :). Oh where to start. I came across Aston on referal. His work was perfect. I was installing my own solar power on my house and had to upgrade my panel. As an electrician and homeowner I have had my fair share of bad contractors. Today though was not the case. I have a stucco guy but he was on an extended vacation with his family and i needed to get this done for city inspection. Aston is like me. He takes great pride in his work. He has integrity. When he said he would show up at a certain time he did. Even a little early. He spends a great deal of time with his prep work. Everything and I mean everything is taped off and covered in plastic. He treats your home like his own. there was no trash or broken stucco left behind. No poured out buckets of water and cement on your plants and gutter. He cleans up and left it cleaner then he arrived everyday. Now he is not the cheapest guy but for most people your home is the biggest investment you own and trust me when i tell you you get what you pay for. If you want it waterproofed right (i hope you do) and you want it to pass inspection with flying colors go with him.
