I did schedule that service out 2 weeks. Nonetheless insie was clean, spacious, there wasn't a list of "to do's" like the dealerships hound you for. When she was married she really didn't have a choice on what type of vehicle she had but now she does have a choice. The other 4 vehicles she drove she ended up not liking. At one dealership the sales consultant made her feel "stupid" and talked down to her so we left. Today at Hyundai of St Augustine Dylan was with another couple so he asked Jacob Gray (sales consultant) to help us. He was phenomenal with our purchase experience! He was so patient, helpful and super friendly. We've had two Honda CR-V since 2020 and loved each one. My wife had told our daughter all the safety features you are looking for are in the CR-V. For some reason she didn't want to look at it but when she saw this one at Hyundai of St Augustine and test drove she feel in love it! I have to say this was the easiest and best purchase experience we've had purchasing a vehicle in a very long time! All the sales consultants were very friendly. The office staff were friendly and seem to work well with all sales consultants. The finance manager where we signed all the paperwork was also very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the dealership at 3:30pm. Test drove the vehicle. Made the decision. Signed paperwork. They put gas in the car and we were leaving at 6pm. My daughter and grandson were so happy with their new car. Makes me happy to see them in a newer safer vehicle than they had before! So if you are ever in the market for a new or used car (Hyundai or other) I definitely recommend you come and see Hyundai of St Augustine and definitely talk with Jacob Gray!!!! The "manager" was there and after explaining it was a bit of an emergency he said, my guys will be here at 8". No problem, I will wait. They took my car on the lift at 8.05 and started working on the flat tire. So I thought. At 8.45 I look in the workshop and the hood is open. A mechanic is checking the front brakes etc etc. I ask why the hood is open for a flat tire? "We always do a multi point inspection sir!" So I asked if I gave them permission to do this as my car just had a full service of 800$ at my dealer one week ago. The front desk told me that this is State regulation. What???????? There is only one person that gives you permission to open up the hood for an inspection and that's me! What a bullsh!t nonsense. When I said you only do this to upsell me things I don't need they became angry. Well so did I......... very angry. I told you I was in a hurry and you just wasted 45 minutes without telling me. Another customer came in and he was told they would do the inspection. The guy laughed and said, no way (as well) When I (once again) spoke to the front desk guy and told him I was not pleased he pissed the payslip under my nose and did not want to talk to me anymore. That made me even more angrier so the manager threw me out! I went to Mavis with 3 of my cars since they opened up in St Augustine. They never did this in the beginning. They lost a good customer for ever!!!!!!!!! By the way their hourly rate for a mechanic is 158$ per hour. You better realize this! This is close to what a consultant charges per hour! I HAVE to give one star, but none would the best here. UPDATE: I FOUND OUT 3 HOURS LATER THAT THE TIRE IS STILL LEAKING. My advice, avoid the place at any time! LAST UPDATE (I promise) I called Discount Tire on the 16 in St Augustine. I could come bevrucht away. Arrived and was shocked. Min 50 customers, full workshop. Iff course...... they are next to the I95 on the Saturday after Christmas! I thought, this will cost me the rest of the day. Very, very friendly staff. And honest. Within 20 min the technician called my name. He's ready. Huh? Yep, there was a hole in the center of the tire. Easy repair. So Mavis screwed this one up completely! I got ready to pay and thanked him for the quick service. No need.... It's free. Excuse me? No not charge for this. Unbelievable. So I tipped the guy 20$ and left as a happy bloke. Guess who will do my tire stuff from now and won't? Exactly!

They told me they did an inspection (which I never asked for) and said, based on the manufacturer's recommendations, suggested I do a whole host of things from struts, shocks, to radiator flush's and much more, totaling $2300!! At this point the oil change still wasn't done! Fortunately I know something about cars. This is how you take advantage of seniors and those who are not knowledgeable with cars. Be careful when going there, you might get more recommendations$$ than you want. Never again will I come here!

Jammed up my steering wheel, telescope and my turn signal then called me a liar twice on something I didn't do. If I do it I own it! Anyway, 3/4 of my car bill is labor and 1/4 over inflated parts, cars finally put back together but I can't pick up during the M-F 9am-5pm hours and closed weekends. So l told them to leave the car out and I would pick up but when I turned on car I had to shut down fast and get it towed out of there fast. It's like someone purposely played with the motor. I never let any shop know I have more mechanics skills than most there workers, they still think women are dumb. They loosened and flipped my alt belt, loosened and chewed up teeth on my lower two belts, damaged my new paint job. When I spoke on the phone with a representative who gave the name "Trevor," he said the reprogramming might not even be needed, but they wouldn't know until after doing the work. To me, this interaction felt untrustworthy. He also used jargon unnecessarily to make it sound more complicated than it is, something any reputable mechanic shop should avoid. The labor to replace the sensor is typically 5-10 minutes, and the part can be purchased OEM (Nissan factory) for ~$230-$250. My advice: get a second opinion or buy the part yourself to save hundreds of dollars.
