    Local beer on tap
    Rolex X.

Small portions of fish but the batter is near perfect. The homemade green tartar sauce is also fantastic, but you have to pay for it if you want any at all when getting take out. For this reason I suggest dining in, as they also have great local beer on tap that was good and cold, and didn't taste off like unmaintained draught lines. However!! The waitress, who was great and brutally honest, revealed almost all of the other appetizers etc. are all frozen and not homemade. She saved us from a very disappointing calamari order, for sure, so we ripped her real good! Took a star away because their rather expensive original halibut dinner was so stingy with the fish. Portion sizes are terrible here so beware. Something I've never experienced at other fish and chip shops which usually give you a huge amount of food. Definitely not here

Halibut special cut 3 pieces, $22.95. Large portion, could feed two moderately hungry people easy. Very good

I took my Mom here for her Birthday on a Friday night. I made reservations about two weeks prior…read more We both had the Tasting menu. And, I had the wine pairing. Each course was imaginative and novel. I thought the flavors were amazing. The Caponata was amazing. When the server explained the course, I had no idea what it was going to taste like? It was so good. The other standout for me was the Tiramisu. I have never had a tiramisu like this one. Each course is on the small side, which I like. The restaurant is small. There is a bar area (maybe 10 people?) and a few tables. It is super cute and intimate. We were easily able to talk. Great service. Our server was attentive. She explained each course and was able to answer questions. This ranks near the top of my dining experiences. This is much more of an adventure. Probably not for the chicken-tendy crowd. Not inexpensive. I can't wait to eat here again.

There was a 2 top table at the back that we were seated at - we could have sat at the bar also - and it was a great spot. We ordered the tasting menu and WOW, every course was amazing. I'll post pics because the presentation was gorgeous for each item. They have a small cocktail and wine and beer selection, but that was fine. My son got their Shrub Mocktail and I got the Shrub with Sake. Both were delicious and so interesting. I can't pick a favorite item because they were all so good, but the Torched Mackerel and Poached Bosc Pear were tied for #1, followed by the Salmon, Oysters and the crazy good Blood Orange dessert. The shrimp toast was just ok for me, not bad, just not as good as everything else. Additionally the service was outstanding. For a tiny place they did everything right. They explained each course, brought out fresh utensils for every course - YEA! - and made sure we had good pacing. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and enhanced our meal. I really want to come back and try the oysters and some of the tinned items. I'm so excited I found Mink and will be back for sure.

First time here and was not disappointed!…read more I picked this place based on its Yelp reviews. We were tired of going to the same places over and over for dinner so I picked a few towns over and the highest rated restaurant. Oh man! Here is how things shook out: Lobster salad sliders: 5 out of 5 stars. I would eat these again Portuguese garlic beef sliders: 2 out of 5 stars. I wanted to love these but the taste was slightly reminiscent of liver to me. Hubby LOVED it though so take my review with a grain of salt. Lemongrass mussels: 4/5. Definitely good but not my fav Seared tuna: 5/5. I would eat this all day, every day. I adore seared tuna. This was sliced thicker than I am used to but it was delicious! Grilled octopus salad: 5/5. This is tied with the tuna as my fav. So fresh and perfect for a hot summer evening meal!

Staff claims that the plates are small and great for sharing, but in our experience, the sizes were just the right size (we still shared). We tried the Macanese Pork Belly, which came with what was our favorite of the day, Portuguese Fried Rice. We also had the Chicken Thigh Skewers with Lemongrass Curry sauce, which was also very tasty! We will be coming back to try more items off the menu!
