Everyone should have a favourite French restaurant, and Pastis is mine. I love French fare, and I love it when it is done right. Don't give me Cin Cin nonsense where the chef is a Kiwi, and the steak is prepared like one you'll find at a bad barbeque. I want my steak prepared by a true Frenchman; because that's the way I like it.
But there is more to Pastis than just good food; the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is great. Just writing this review is making my mouth water for their flavour rich snails, and the yummy duck confit. Mmmm mmm mmmm, take your partner, and enjoy a night out you'll never forget. read more
