I also ordered spinach and roasted artichoke spread. I did get a couple small pieces of bread that came with my pasta. The pasta was delicious. It had a spicy kick to it but I love the corn in it. Very flavorful. The artichoke and spinach dip was also very good. I ate the whole thing with the grilled bread. Lots of big chunks of artichoke in it. Very good!! Overall rating would be 3.75 We went for dinner as a group of 5- 3 adults and 2 kids. Parking at Bridgeport on a Friday night is a little hit or miss. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and were seated right away (without a reservation). Our waitress was fantastic- friendly, gave great suggestions, answered questions and she was on top of every thing. The restaurant was clean, had lots of staff and got busier closer to 6:00. The noise of the restaurant was great- we could easily carry on conversations, but it was kid friendly. My kids had a hard time deciding on what to order because they liked several of the options. Their main menu is also very big with lots of options. I do appreciate that they offer a smaller version of salads you can order with your meal. All our pasta meals came with bread as well. This place has sold out to mobile ordering. I watched the restaurant ignore customers in the building and fill dozens of mobile orders. Too slow. The server we had was overwhelmed with a very small table. Just a terrible experience and I've seen this place do better. It feels like a management issue more than anything. Uber Eats and GrubHub orders take precedent over anyone in the restaurant. It has slowed down their customer service to a crawl. The wait for a table was bad. Once seated, apparent why... they've turned it into a fast food restaurant for mobile orders. Nobody can get food. The kitchen drowned under that stress. The server didn't perform well. Early anniversary dinner at Pastini was wonderful! We've been wanting to try it for years but when at Bridgeport always default to CPK and now, Fogo de Chau. So glad we finally tried it. Beet salad - delicious. I got the seasonal clam dish with the Calabrian chili's. Pass. Hard pass. Not because it wasn't good; it was because my husband got the lasagna and it was THAT good. Raised with legit Italian food, and specifically northern Italian food, I feel I've had some of the best of the best but this lasagna was amazing. Today's visit to Pastini finally convinced me to give top marks. We were given a friendly greeting at the door and seated immediately. Our server was excellent throughout, always making sure we were happy -- and everything came out quickly. We started with our favorite appetizer, the garlic bread -- buttery, garlicky, and perfectly toasted on one side. A delicious tradition for us. The Winter Specials menu had a rigatoni pasta dish that sounded right up my alley -- Rigatoni Diavola. The slightly spicy sauce consisted of Calabrian chilies, roasted garlic, and fresh tomatoes that are slow simmered, paired with sliced prosciutto, then topped with parmesan and fresh oregano. I love the way the sauce clung to the ridges of the pasta tubes -- it seemed so simple, yet was so delicious! I also ordered a glass of the Villa Travignoli Chianti Rufina (Sangiovese) red wine to go with my pasta, and it was a perfect pairing -- bold and complex, yet nice and dry. For dessert, we split a piece of Tiramisu, and it was amazing. The lady fingers were perfectly soft and fluffy, without being soggy; and the cream was so smooth. I was surprised when we had to wait for a table at a Pastini, but I guess if you're in an area with little options that happens. Parking isn't great here. There are spots, but they won't likely be close to where you're going. It's really small so there's not many tables and very little space to wait inside. Server was super friendly and prompt, no issues there. The food was severely lacking. No flavor and the sauces were watery thin. I want something that can actually stick to the noodles and this wasn't it. Probably the worst pasta I've had in a long time. I love their Caesar salad and the one I got was a size small. It was huge. The only drawback was it needed a little bit more dressing but besides that delicious. The sauce was so good, it could make a shoe taste delicious! My only small thing is say is the noodles were a tad soggy, like they had a rough night or something. As far as local chain Italian places I've tried, Pastini ranks up there as far as taste, presentation and overall quality. We've been a few times now to the Bridgeport location and have always managed to snag a table without a wait. Standout dishes include their beet salad, linguine misto mare (fish and shrimp) and butternut squash ravioli. Hearty but not overly heavy. The seafood cannelloni was a little disappointing--a bit one dimensional. But we've had a pretty delicious brownie and ice cream combo and Tiramisu to cap off some pretty satisfying meals here. This is one of our favorite locations. The staff is always attentive and friendly. We've never had a bad experience (knock on wood). The lunch special is so worth the money. I like getting a pasta and the Caesar salad. This time it was the spicy sausage spaghetti. Loved it! My mom loves the carbonara, she gets it every time. We especially love how quick the service is. This is our go to restaurant whenever we are in Tigard. My husband is in love with their carbonara with smoked bacon and peas. I was sad that they don't serve the trio salads anymore. This time, I tried the short rib raviolis, which were delicious, but they are very rich. We started with the Caesar salad, which we always enjoy and ask to hold the bread. My wife and I have always been a little skeptical and have had only fair tasting meals at this chain but we were very impressed with this particular location in Tigard's Bridgeport Mall. The food and service were very good. We tried the lunch portion of the sphagetti carbonara (with one meatball just to try it) with Caesar salad; the sphagetti with shrimp scampi; and we shared a beet salad and an order of garlic bread. The carbonara was subtle in its bacon flavoring and overall quite impressive as was the caesar salad. The lunch portion was just the right size and very competitively priced. The scampi on the sphagetti well done with the shrimp being spiced where it did not overwhelm the shrimp flavor which is always a neat trick. Surprisingly, we were especially impressed with the beet salad. It had a sprinkle of toasted hazelnuts, fresh orange slices, goat cheese and lovely greens with tender beet chunks. The viniagrette dressing seemed a bit sharp at first but when combined with the mild beets was just right. What was really impressive was the freshness of the combination. This salad was memorable! Wanted to try their tiramisu for dessert and it did not disappoint; light, moist and not overly sweet. We took most of it home - we were so full. Lots of families were here - a good sign for reasonably priced, tasty food in a gentle atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive as was the front of house - a welcoming and happy vibe. I was quite surprised with how much I enjoyed this place! It was our first time visiting and it's safe to say that we'll definitely visit again. I highly recommend the Linguini Piccata (it comes with chopped roasted chicken). In general, I love piccata so it was a no brainer for me to order it here. It was delicious; the chicken was nice and tender and the capers were perfect! My wife ordered the same dish but with the intended linguini and she was very happy. We also opted for the Garlic Bread for an additional charge and it paired perfectly with both of our dishes. We also ordered the Caesar Salad as a starter and it was also a win; it was perfectly tossed so the romaine and dressing ratio was perfect and the romaine wasn't soggy. AND! This place serves Coca-Cola products! :] The service was great. Our server was welcoming and he constantly checked in to make sure we were doing okay. He was speedy, too! We came on a weekday for lunch so thankfully it wasn't too busy. One thing to note is that this location is located in a huge shopping center and the shopping center parking can be chaotic.
