    Summer Pasta: Linguine Alle Vongole
    Joanna G.

Early anniversary dinner at Pastini was wonderful! We've been wanting to try it for years but when at Bridgeport always default to CPK and now, Fogo de Chau. So glad we finally tried it. Beet salad - delicious. I got the seasonal clam dish with the Calabrian chili's. Pass. Hard pass. Not because it wasn't good; it was because my husband got the lasagna and it was THAT good. Raised with legit Italian food, and specifically northern Italian food, I feel I've had some of the best of the best but this lasagna was amazing. Something I really would NEVER order at a restaurant because it's never as good as homemade. Wrong, at this place. Service was also wonderful and server made it a very special experience. Also - not a dessert eater but the summer dessert of strawberries and olive oil cake was phenomenal. I'd come just for that.

Went with the lunch special to go. I will definitely dine in next time. The small to go container was not filled with pasta. The pasta was however very tasty and the side salad was good and fresh. Even at lunch time midweek they are crowded but service is prompt. I would not say particularly friendly but not rude either. It's a perfect setup in the bustling Bridgeport shopping area.

I haven't had pastini in a while but the Cavatappi Primavera was a bit dry. I ordered a side of marina ($4.50) which was needed for the pasta. Wine bottles are half off on Wednesday so that's a nice deal. I waited around 15 mins for a table of two. The service was quick too.

Food was good. I was a little concerned going to a place like this with dietary restrictions but I was able to find something to eat even while trying to avoid carbs. I got a salad and soup and just avoided eating too much bread. It will be very tempting to order pastas or sandwiches if you are diabetic though because everything looks so good. Service was great. Our server was very friendly

I was surprised when we had to wait for a table at a Pastini, but I guess if you're in an area with little options that happens. Parking isn't great here. There are spots, but they won't likely be close to where you're going. It's really small so there's not many tables and very little space to wait inside. Server was super friendly and prompt, no issues there. The food was severely lacking. No flavor and the sauces were watery thin. I want something that can actually stick to the noodles and this wasn't it. Probably the worst pasta I've had in a long time. Can't say I'd ever let someone talk me into eating at a Pastini ever again, even if it is the birthday person's choice.

Staff were friendly and food was delicious, but would not recommend the cold brew martini. For food I ordered the Spaghetti con Gambaretti and will be ordering again, 10/10!

I have always loved pastini and this location is amazing. Super friendly staff. I also LOVE the lunch menu. It's a great price and the perfect portion. I got the linguini with spicy pepperonata chicken and the soup. SO GOOD! There are lots of seats inside. We got a nice booth. Would definitely recommend for lunch. They also have 20% off takeout pasta on Tuesdays.

Food was bland with watery sauce, would not recommend. I was unsatisfied with my meal and would not come back again.

Dinner with a long-term friend. Savanah had us seated immediately and was both quick with drink orders as well as graciously accommodating when we delayed ordering to catch up. Dinner included Tortellini Gorgonzola, Spaghetti Carbonara and Fusilli Alla Roma. All were really good, tasty and generous. My Gorgonzola was so tasty it would be a consistent 'go-to' favorite. Neither my wife nor friend left much behind which was unusual. VERY satisfying meal and service. And we were allowed to linger even on a Friday nite. Gracious outfit.

We popped into this location for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was; it was super flavorful. The garlic bread was perfect and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was extremely savory. Our server was the perfect host. She was fast, friendly, and guided us towards a selection. We were able to grab a table right away and the restaurant's ambiance is primarily booth-style seating. Keep up the great work #PastiniRocks #PortlandEats

Coming from California to Oregon, my friends and I were craving Italian. After a 7 mile hike at Silver Falls, Pastini was the perfect Italian restaurant to satisfy our craving. The garlic bread with Alfredo sauce was so flavorful. Each of us order a different dish and we all thought each was delicious. Of course we liked some more than others. Our waitress, Ruby was the best! She was honest, sweet, and overall knowledgeable with the menu. We absolutely loved her service. Thank you ruby for making the experience a great one.

I've been to the Beaverton location and didn't have the same experience here, which was excellent! We came here for my birthday dinner and fortunately we got seated right away because immediately after, it got busy and there was a long waitlist. Here is what we ordered: 5/5 - Caesar Salad - Perfect! 4/5 - Spicy Shrimp Fettuccini - Not spicy at all. Wish they added more shrimp. 5/5 - Braised Short Rib Ravioli - Amazing! 4.5/5 - Spaghetti Carbonara - Would have loved this to be a little creamier. 4/5 - Fusilli Alla Roma - Didn't really seem like there was parmesan cream sauce but it was still flavorful. I ended the dinner with a complimentary dessert where they let me choose from their dessert menu. I couldn't resist getting the Tiramisu which was divine! It was the perfect birthday treat.

I had the penne with meatballs and I'm happy to rate this 5-star delicious! The meatballs were a combo of ground meat and sausage. The sauce was rich, meaty and deeply cooked - no quick simmer here. It's often served as a whole breast fillet alongside potatoes but this one came as medallions served over pasta, broccoli, mushrooms, and a yummy sauce. We knew that Beaverton is becoming a known foodie destination and Don's is an example of some of the higher-end restaurant options making an appearance. We were told Don's has been here a year already, so we're glad we found it. This is a small and intimate venue, something like only 6 tables. The kitchen is open for those who love to watch the chef do his thing. I usually love to do this myself, but I became so focused on enjoying the remarkable food that was placed before us that I forgot to watch. The server's name escapes me, but he was wonderful and good at his job! He also was the person who picked the wine pairings for the meal. And what an outstanding pairing it was! Would I recommend the wine parings? Yes, I would. Don's is not cheap experience, by the way. The dinner is pre-fixe, but the wine pairings have two options and prices: full glass or half-glass. My wife and I opted for the half-glass pairing and were pleasantly surprised this this sufficed perfectly with respect to both cost and amount of wine. One memorable pairing was the sparkling Reisling we were served with our oysters! Wow, so perfect and tasty! Who knew? Well, our server a.k.a. wine steward did, for sure. In fact, we loved every dish we were served! Pictures are below. I don't remember the specific names, unfortunately. Between our server and Don, we were well taken care of during our meal. As I mentioned the venue is small, so probably not a place you'd want to bring small children. This is more of a date night (if you really want to impress) or special occasion place, or for those times when you just want to treat yourself to a great meal experience, which is what brought us to Don's. We are feeling very fortunate to have finally discovered Don's Favorite Foods in Beaverton. We will definitely be back!
