Pastabilities continues to be a great local spot.as the name indicates they have a pasta centric menu but I have found their soups and specials to be excellent. Tonight I had the filet medallions with a peppercorn sauce and it was excellent! Started the meal with a chicken and wild rice soup and ended with key lime pie. Michelle at the bar does an excellent job and it makes for a solid night out!

Great local place with the best homemade soups to be found. The soups change daily and all are excellent. The sandwiches are good . The hot hammy is a fav and the roast beef is also good. The flatbreads are wonderful the meat stack with meat sauce, sausage, and pepperoni is very good. We had the fried green beans and would not get those again, not crisp but a good sauce. The meatball sub was ok. A great place with good service and many choices on the menu. It's cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Cindy, the owner did her thing with this salad!! The marinated fresh tomatoes------OMGOSH!! The marinated chicken strips were VERY tender. Then to top it off with their tomato basil dressing....mmmmm! It's a delight to any of their salads. This combination was simply lip-licking, tongue-smacking delicious!!!

I was happy to have a cozy seat in the nook near the front for my husband and son's birthday celebration but between a wobbly table (causing spilled drinks), a server that we couldn't ever seem to catch (perhaps we were covered by a cloak of invisibility), and the food that looked better than it tasted (cold, flavorless noodles are never good), we were just disappointed.

My husband always raves about the Cesar salad that he orders when lounging at the cigar shop, so finally he took me there. Our server was amazing, very friendly, knew her food and wine. Of course my husband ordered his Cesar salad and I ordered this amazing pasta with mussels and shrimp and had plenty for lunch the following day. Just make sure you leave room for dessert...

Stopped in here for diner over the weekend. I think I had been here before, but the interior wasn't familiar at all. It was a little odd, and felt more like a wine shop with a few tables scattered about. We showed up on the late side, maybe 820, so it wasn't too busy, and we were instructed to sit wherever we wanted and they brought us menus. I was surprised by the prices being so reasonable. The food came out quickly. And the portions were a little on the smaller side, which made the pricing make more sense. The food was ok, I went with the lasagna, but kind of felt like it lacked flavor. It filled me up, but it was just lacking soemthing. It also came with a side salad, which seemed a bit dingy. I don't like to speak badly about any business, and maybe it's exactly what someone else is looking for, but it will probably be a while before I revisit this spot

I was craving Italian and was so happy w my selection. The dish was rich and the perfect portion size for dinner. The server was sweet and very attentive. It's a small cozy restaurant w great service and good food. Plenty of parking space.

What can I say? I love this place. Sometimes you will have to wait a while to get a table but it's so worth it in the end. The staff here are amazing as well as the food. From the Chicken Parmesan to the lasagna there's nothing to complain about. It does get a little loud inside as it is a small building but I would expect nothing less from an Italian restaurant. If I had to categorize Pastabilities I would say casual upscale. I have never been disappointed here.

I had a lovely dinner here last night. We had gotten in the rut of going to the Olive Garden, even though neither of us like it very much. So, we challenges ourselves to branch out and try something new! I'm so glad we did, because we had a delicious meal and service was fantastic. We went on a busy Friday night and the wait was 50 mins. It wasn't a problem at all, since there was a little dive bar (Speakeasy Tavern) in the same plaza. We went over there and had drinks until they called us to tell us our table was ready. In spite of there being hoards of people waiting, the restaurant had a spacious feel and the tables weren't cramped at all. I got the Orange Blossom cocktails and really enjoyed the zingy drink and beautiful presentation. For my meal, I got the Italian Flag. It was a perfect vegetarian option. The pesto, pine nuts, and sun dried tomato combo was great. With a hearty portion, I had some to take home as well. For dessert I got the tiramisu. The waitress explained to us that they source their desserts from an elderly Italian woman. It was really delicious accompanied by the Fuzzy Duck (spiked cappuccino). Our meal was surprisingly affordable and I felt like it was a perfect date night spot. I'll definitely be back!

Chicken parmigiana with a side of meatballs

I get cravings for chicken parmigiana AND meatballs. So my car swerved into Pastabilities so that I could treat myself to both. I love Pastibilities for their fresh, varied menu of Italian, rib sticking, comfort foods, salads and seafood. Look for their creative daily specials as well. Most entrees come with a salad and bread making for a great value. If you haven't been to Pastabilities, check them out!

If those aren't FROZEN chicken tenders, you can call me Fred.

This place is mediocre at best. Not real Italian food. Don't go expecting that. It is nice that it is locally owned and operated.

Great place for pasta, or even a burger. The fried green beans are amazing, and I always get the chicken carbonara. It's awesome!

Since I was going to be in their town in a few days and only live about 20 minutes from Melina's I decided to order some and bring it in a cooler so my mother could surprise her. I'm glad I ordered it ahead of time. It was a smooth process and allowed me to choose a few things to try on my own. I followed my GPS to the teenie-tiny building Melina's is located in. Walked in and was greeted by a big smile from one of their workers with a chef's coat on. She grabbed my box quickly from their freezer and answered a few of my curious questions. She seemed to love what she did! How refreshing! She welcomed my questions and was just an overall cheerful person. Tried some of their pasta about a week later. It was goodness in a string. There is NO comparison to store-bought pasta. Melina's pasta is delicious! Also, Melina's sauce- better than the rest. For real. I'm thrilled to have Melina's to go to for all things pasta (and sauces). I'm supporting a small, local business and it's delicious! Win-win!

Our visit 28 SEP @ 19945 (After the Wake Forest football game)…read more Let me start with there is nothing wrong with this place. There are thousands of these strip mall, multi cuisine fast food counter service restuarants. They fill a key slot in the dining industry. We were hungry, we got meals, we ate every bite. I am however not sure about the five-star rating. I suspect the two raters prior to me are very nice guys. My wife found the Google entry and there are 367 reviews (avg. 4.2). I went and read some of the reviews. I think its a case of grade inflation, peoples score they choose does not match their description of their experience. I lay all that out there because I try to be as fair, and useful as I can when I write these because I use Yelp to help me make decisions when we travel. I wouldn't want to mislead others. So this restaurant was not that far from our hotel and we wanted to get food and take it back to room and watch some more football on TV. I guess we didn't get enough at the 41-38 loss WFU suffered earlier. It is a little dark, a little run down, but seemed clean as far as I could tell. There were no weird smells, just fryer grease and roasted chicken and pizza. My wife got an Italian sub, no ham, no cappacola, just salami and cheese (she's a toddler sometimes). Sort of half expected them to add a bit more salami to round out her sandwich, they didn't. I got a rotisserie chicken sub. It was okay, the chicken tasted good but there wasn't much of it. We both got fries and they were pretty decent (a little steamed because there were no holes poked in the styrofoam containers (most places know that trick). Our meals ran us $24, about what things cost these days, but not quite the value for what we got. Like I said, it was okay, we ate it all and were happy to have a meal. I'm not sure we would be regulars if we were local, while this place is okay, I suspect there are a few slightly better places in the area.

It is the only true Roman Style locally, that we enjoy. It is always, very thin and crispy, which we love. The sauce is not too sweet, which we prefer. So many local pizzas are far too sweet for us. What really sets it apart is the mozzarella cheese they use. It has good flavor and the right amount of saltiness. Our biggest complaint about most local pizzerias, is the tasteless, rubbery cheese they use. We have yet to try any of the toppings, since the plain cheese is so good. P, P and P is on our rotation now!

I honestly could come back just for this and would be satisfied. The bread was toasted on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside, just phenomenal. For the main dish I got the Chicken Parmesan. This was the only thing I was so so on with our meal. The pasta was delicious. A perfect combo of creamy and cheesy. The chicken however, I wasn't the biggest fan of. Maybe a one off scenario, but the texture itself was just off and not enjoyable. With the pasta being tasty, I would still come back to give some other dishes a try still! We finished the meal off with the banana caramel butter cake and it was to die for. During this visit we sat at the bar...even our bar stool neighbors were very cool and the conversation was delightful and hilarious!! We ordered Don Giorgio to kick the evening off and the whiskey and ginger combo was so refreshing. It literally made me contempt forgiving enemies. We sipped as we perused the menu. Piroose (which means to be victorious) waited on us and we really liked him! Let's me be honest -everyone behind the bar (Cherise and others) was on point with service, a smile and light conversation. I felt seen with out being interviewed. My husband had the Spinach and Arugula salad with strawberries and pine nuts. It was so pretty just like a cute dress on a summer evening. Not to mention it was SOOO GOOD! I ordered Spicy Rigatoni, which appeared before me like I was a Queen. The bowl was completely bare when I finished...no pasta...no sauce. I almost licked the bowl.
