Mais, les étoiles passent au-dessus de la décoration, de la cuisine, de l'art dans les casseroles et du mélange d'ingrédients, cela doit toujours être le plus important. Pas l'inverse.

Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on a relatively peaceful road across the St. Lawrence river outside of downtown is this place. There's a tiny little parking lot on the side of the building, but not someplace where you can park more than I'd say, 5 cars at a weird angle. Good luck getting back out into the street safely. There is a covered patio so that you can dine in the beautiful weather of the summer months. The restaurant seems very modern and straightforward. It has a real "pizzareia feel" to it which was quite comfortable. Service: Kim took excellent care of us. We wanted for nothing, she was very attentive and made our experience a good one. Food: They had their Buffalo Chicken Piazzetta Rolls on special for the day so I HAD to try those and they were pretty good! They consisted of grilled chicken, green onions, red onions and a few other ingredients. It was s relatively smaller portion, but it was for lunch so that make sense. Value: All prices are in $CAD. My lunch was $20.00. It seemed a bit pricey, but that's okay. In conclusion I did enjoy this place and I'd be willing to check out other parts of the menu the next time I'm in town.

Our waitress let us to our table. She was very hospitable and she spoke very good English and told us that they have a salad bar part of our meal. I ordered a classic spaghetti with meat sauce and hubby ordered spaghetti with steak. My meal was amazing. They put a lot of meat sauce and the spaghetti was just cooked right not to soft not too hard. My hubby's steak was cooked perfectly. I also tried the tiramisu not too bad. I wish they put a lot of rum. lol. Chocolate cake was delicious. The place looks elegant and expensive, although the prices are not too bad. I recommend this place.

Cute spot in Old Port, Old Montreal…read more The placemat also served as the menu. I loved that there were fun facts scattered here and there. It also worked as conversation starters. Another interesting thing here is they have an unlimited self-serve salad bar for lunch (unsure about dinner). They had kale! There were a couple of salad dressings and a variety of toppings. What was memorable was the sweet, sweet corn. Bread and butter were served at our table. I didn't expect this for lunch. #14 Spaghetti with meatballs CAD$32 - The meatballs were good, but the spaghetti was lacking. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it was just ok. (I had another Italian spot for dinner that night, and L'usine just didn't meet the bar.) The menu said this is the classic from L'usine. #19 Le Grand Prix CAD$38 - The lamb chops were pretty good! However again the pesto pasta was lacking again. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom is down the stairs. It reminded me of being under a pirate ship for some reason. Only indoor seating

It was a Sunday evening and there were only 3 to 4 tables with clients in the restaurant. I like the ambiance and the Decor. We did not order any wine because I had to study afterwards but there were a lot of crossed out items on the wine list. I ordered a pizza with the table hôte and my friend ordered their penne arrabiata. The salad was good/generous. The portion of the soup was adequate and it was not too salty. Both our dishes were pretty good for the price. I was a bit deceived by the tiramisu which ended up to be tasting like a very sweet dessert not a coffee base dessert. We had to wait for 30 to 45 minutes to get our bill because the waiter was nowhere to be found at the end of the evening. He did excused himself and said he was doing administrative stuff for closing the restaurant later ... You had a reason why I did not give a five is because we were freezing. It cost me $20 plus tax and it cost my friend $16 plus tax so it is very affordable. I would go back!! They had a lunch menu that cost eight dollars the main plate
