Efficient, excellent communications, terrific customer service. Took longer for UPS to deliver the documents and passports to PVE than it took to get them back. 14 days from door to door including outbound shipping (4 days), Christmas (2 days), New Years (2 days) Holidays, weekends and return shipment. Many, many companies doing this service, but PVE is solid. Price was fair. DO NOT pay for concierge service. YOU have to complete the COVA forms on-line. Why pay for someone to hold your hand while you do all the work? Very Positive experience read more

I cannot rave enough about how helpful they are. I tried the company that the travel company uses They made it so difficult I almost cancelled my trip I went to passport visas express They were amazing and helpful and helped with everything . It took 24hrs to get the visa. ...No stress and I did not feel so overwhelmed that I wanted to cancel the trip. They made it so easy. For an extra 65 bucks they walk you threw a part of it I could not get the cc card to work and they filled out the form for me. This visa procewss can be very stressful and time consuming. They have some upgraded programs rthat help more like a concierge service I di the $65 and got extra help and I think some extra above and beyond, Really helpful professional customer oriented group. read more

Amazing experience with PVE! I needed a passport renewal for my daughter for a trip in 7 weeks, so not a rush job but couldn't rely on the State Department's expedited service of 7-9 weeks. I live in NYC where there are plenty of passport services but PVE had the most competitive price for the timeframe I needed and the best reviews on Yelp and Trustpilot. When you entrust your passport renewal to an expeditor, there are no do-overs. The application process is complicated when you have to apply in person (see below) so I called PVE a couple of times with questions and everyone I spoke was patient, thorough and knew what they were talking about. I chose the 13-15 business day option, sent them the application, and had the new passport in my hands in 11 business days. I couldn't be happier with their service. If you are applying for a new passport, replacement or renewal for a minor (or someone who was recently a minor), you first have to go to an Acceptance Agent, usually at the post office, and get your application and documentation approved. PVE or any other expeditor is not a replacement for that step. After you get the application approved, you FedEx the package to PVE and they take it from there. This process can be complicated and PVE walked me through it when I called. It can take weeks to get an appointment at the post office (you book on the USPS site and I was lucky to find a cancellation) and there isn't anything PVE can do about that so plan ahead. read more

I would give it 5 stars but I don't have my passport yet, I paid over $400 to expedite it and it's a few days late. I do have tracking number and it is supposed to arrive by tomorrow. Allow yourself an extra WEEK if you use this service! read more

All my praises to Passport Visas Express. I ordered on Nov 7th and today (Nov 22nd) received my visa. I will say, your departure date is a big factor in how they queue their work so if you really need it rushed, you'll have to work out the dates in a way that favors you. Fortunately I had plenty of time, just a few personal hoops I had to jump. Getting a visa, any visa is a pure headache but Jane Rantung was amazing. She helped my colleagues and I every step of the way. We had sooo many questions and each time, via phone or email, she was prompt and super thorough in explaining what would be required of us. Her expertise gave us a piece of mind. One of the big concerns we had was, could we be sure that when the passport is sent back, it contains a visa? My team had to book airplane tickets and we were extremely hesitant to book an expensive flight without a visa in hand but Jane explained that once it leaves the consulate, the passport would surely contain a visa. She also explained that had there been problems with the visa, it would have been kicked back. Overnight return shipping was also a gem as well. Time was of the essence and no minute was lost. Overall our experience with Jane was top notch. So glad we went with this service and will look to them again for more international travel needs. Thank you! read more

Wow- my family was in a BIND. My father had passed and he lived in another country. We needed a visa- and fast! The consulate to the country we needed to get to had slowed way down and were experiencing delays for "system updates". I would have lost my mind if it were not for Jonathan at Passport Visas Express. I felt like he was on the journey with me- if I had not paid for this to be expedited and the visa form filled in correctly, I would have had no touchpoint for communication and would have had no idea what was going on. Jonathan was amazingly communicative, kind, really encouraging. He called me to celebrate along with me when the visa went though, knowing that this was more than just a vacation trip and that my entire family was planning, spending, and emotionally involved in getting into the country of my father's passing to close down his affairs. Wow- I will definitely use them again and recommend them to EVERYONE who needs things done right, quickly, and with A+++ customer service. THANK YOU JONATHAN!!!! read more

This is a great company I needed a Ghanaian visa and the embassy was terrible with the delays of the visa and returning my US passport back to me. They literally went to the embassy and had to deal with security guards many times to retrieve my information. My flight is supposed to leave tomorrow they got it just in time because I had several other flights scheduled. Ghana is my to and from point and I would have had to cancel and re-route the majority of my flights. You guys saved my vacation!! I know I was very impatient due to the delay but you did an amazing job!! I can't thank you enough. read more

These people did excellent work. They were easy to deal with, responsive, and got things moving right away. My passport came in about a week. It's costly, but that's what happens with an expedited passport. I highly recommend these folks for making it smooth and getting the job done. read more

If your in the area and for whatever reason you need to a passport photo taken, then this is the place to go. My sister and I found this place through Yelp by typing "Passport". This place is within walking distance of the Rossyln Metro Station - less than a mile. Unfortunately, I didn't know if this place was going to be legit because there were no reviews or photos for it - all the more reason to go! First off, finding the area can be a bit tricky because there are no street or sidewalk indicators stating that there is a Passport Visa Express nearby. In order to find this place you need to walk into a huge building which contains a handful of smaller businesses. It's a bit of a hassle and totally out of the way. It is literally impossible to find this place if you were just walking down the street looking for it. When you arrive at the business you will be greeted by a very simple, yet messy setup of half walled cubicles with a laptop and a person at each one. I even noticed that there were photo frames with no photos in them. Perhaps I've never been to enough Passport Visa Express business, but this one took the cake for being the most "shady" looking. Now don't get me wrong, the people who helped us were very professional and easy going, but when I first walked in I just couldn't help but wonder about the legitimacy of this place. However, all went well! My sister and I didn't get shanked! Instead, we went in asking for a passport photo to be taken, the gentlemen helping us whipped out his camera took a shot, gave it to someone else to have it printed - it was 10 bucks for two photos - gave us a receipt and we were on our way. At one point, my sister emailed him another photo and he was more than willing to use that and create a passport photo out of it. Like a said, the people here were very professional, it's just the place itself doesn't give off that vibe which can be a little off putting to some. None-the-less, if you need a visa or passport photo, this place will get the job done. Just make sure to bring a phone that has google maps so you can find it. read more

Passport Visas Express.com - Front of establishment - Passport & Visa Services Near Me - Falls Church, Virginia

My husband's flight was changed. We sent the paperwork with the new flight date to Passport Visas Express. They neglected to update the visa application. WE got the visa back after a couple of weeks with the WRONG ENTRY DATE. Then we had to resubmit most of the paperwork we had already sent: yellow fever vaccination, certificate of death of our loved one. I definitely would not use this service again. Very friendly and professional over the phone but made the process a big hassle on our end so I cannot recommend this company. read more

Tony was very helpful. I recommend visa express if you're looking to get a Russian visa. I'll start with the end, you can choose to read the amazing story after if you like. Two stars for the incredibly helpful staff at PVE. They were amazing through this whole thing and really went out of their way to help. All I would have appreciated was some honesty and recognition that PVE messed up. And in doing so made me lose 3 days of my trip and spend an extra $1200 to change my flights. But, I was going to the World Cup come hell or high water! I needed to get my Visa for the World Cup in Brazil and there were no more appointments at the San Francisco Consulate. My friend had gone through PVE and had zero issues, leading me to believe that I would have my Visa taken care of without problem. I sent my documents to Chicago and they were forwarded to the NYC Consulate. Par for the course as NYC is the only Brazilian Consulate that processes requests via mail. And to be honest, I didn't leave much room for error as I had waited until nearly the last minute. I paid for the 12 day processing and my travel companion was a little nervous, asking me to change it to the 7 day. I get online and start a chat. I asked to change my processing time to the 7 day, paid for it and was told my documents would be delivered to the NYC Brazilian Consulate the next day. Hmm, that was simple! Time passes and no word. I receive a call from the NYC Consulate informing that my Visa would be ready for pick up on June 11. My flight leaves from SFO on June 13 at 12:05am. Wow, I thought, this is gonna be a miracle. Not to mention, there's no reason my Visa should have been ready on June 11 after I paid for the 7 day processing. In fact, I should have had my visa well before that day. I get online and start a chat again. I get the company line, "We cannot guarantee any processing because the Consulates cannot tell us which Visas will be released." Ok... That's understandable. Chat, company line, chat, company line, chat, company line... Long story short, my Visa was "Held up in NY by the Consulate. We apologize sir, there's nothing we can do." I miss my flight and have to pay out the nose to get my flights rearranged. No big deal though, I'm going to make this happen. Days pass and I'm still getting the company line. By this time I've gone to the San Francisco Consulate and received a phone number for someone in the NY office that is going to help me locate my Visa. Low and behold, my Visa was ready to be picked up and released on June 11... Odd, PVE said it wasn't. In fact, they were blaming the Consulate and strikes that had happened almost a month prior as to why they couldn't retrieve my documents. I asked NY about this claim, I was told that the strikes did not affect the Visas at all. In fact the only process that wasn't affected by the strikes was the Visa processing. Honesty goes a long way. I know there was nothing that they could have done AFTER they had forgotten to change my processing time. But had they told me they had made a mistake, I would not have been bothered. Stuff happens, own up to it. read more

I chose Passport Visas Express for 2 reasons: although I had previously used CIBT/A Briggs before, their information on Russian visas was out of date and simply WRONG. Passport Visas Express was recommended by Rick Steves, and I can see why. Everything about them was 100% accurate. Their instructions were perfect, and their staff called me to fix a few small errors. I'll definitely use them again and I strongly recommend them! read more

Thanks, Passport Visas Express, for being fast & affordable. They returned my passport (with new tourist visa attached) a week before it was promised. Prices were reasonable. read more

Excellent, efficient service. I found this agency recommended on Rick Steve's website, and as usual his recommendation was right on the mark. The Russian visa process is extremely convoluted and stressful, but PVE made it so much easier and were in touch every step along the way. I paid for next-day processing on the visa support letter but got it within an hour. I used the online chat once and my question was quickly and helpfully resolved. Rather than paying to have someone guide me on through the visa application on the phone, I used their online instructions for guidance when filling out the application on the Russian consulate's website. The visa application is long and confusing, but PVE's instructions were very clear and helpful and provided absolutely essential tips on how to fill out the form correctly and in the most time-saving manner. read more

Quick Service and Phenomenal Customer Service!!!! I fretted over which service to use after getting some recommendations from friends who have traveled to China before. None of those companies reviews were good enough for such a sensitive matter. I stumbled upon PassportVisasExpress.com and read the other stellar reviews and decided that even though they were a little pricier, it's better to be safe than sorry. Oh boy did i make the right choice! I chose the 5 day service for a Chinese visa as I was only two and a half weeks out from leaving. The application for a Chinese visa is extremely long and a little unclear in places. PassportVisasExpress.com offers online chat service for questions and more than anything, I loved the transparency of the process through them. Constant online updates as to where in the process they are at with your application, emails and even text updates if you choose. I mistakenly left out my flight info for returning to the U.S., they texted me to let me know and I scanned and submitted that piece online. That same day, my info was submitted to the consulate and I had an estimated date of completion and return back to me. The day came for my visa to be completed and get this... then even upload a picture of your completed visa online before they send your passport/visa back to you. How cool is that!?! I can't say enough good things about this company. I made the right choice and will use them anytime I need visa/passport services. I'd give them a bajillion stars if I could. read more

I'm really glad that I went with this company. I live in Hawaii, and the Fedex charges were expensive to ship back and forth but I received my Chinese Visa a lot quicker than anticipated. If you're like me - the kind of person who wants absolute certainty that your Visa application is properly handled - than you've found the right place. After working with Joan at PassportVisaExpress.com all of my worries, concerns and questions about the Visa application process were immediately put to rest. I feel 100% in control over the details of my travel plans and I am certain that I am applying for the correct Visa in the most efficient, least expensive way possible. I'm a picky client - with an unusually high level of attention to detail. ONLY the BEST companies can earn my business. I contacted PassportVisaExpress in order to inquire about a long term multipass Visa to Russian. Below is a written account of my first experience in working with PassportVisaExpress.com - based on this single transaction, I intend to bring all of my future business here. I recommend them in the highest regards to you, and to everyone who finds themselves in the need of such services. ## My first encounter with PassportVisaExpress (And how they have raised the bar) read on... I found PassportVisaExpress.com through some random official government website that had them listed as a company to contact for assistance with applying for a Visa to Russia - within a few minutes of browsing their website I decided to call and ask them some questions because of the complexity of the trip that I am about to embark on. Like anyone else want my travel plans to run as smoothly as possible. ### Here's the play by play: * The gentleman who quickly answered the phone immediately understood he needed to put me in touch with a Russian Visa Expert who works within their company, he without hesitation was able to direct me to the person who was most able to answer my questions. * Unfortunately Joan was unavailable at first, so I left a brief voice message. Like I feel what I think most people would have felt... Lame... a transfer to a voicemail? But, what the heck, I left a message anyways and hung up the phone. First I thought... well, that was a bust - I'll have to call some other company... So, I left to go eat some lunch and to my surprise Joan called me back right away! I had a moment to speak with her right then, even though I was still feeling the effects of getting transfered to a voicemail, I decided that didn't matter - I had her on the phone right now - so we got right in to the nitty gritty details. * I was SO GLAD that I had left that voicemail! Not only was Joan extremely knowledgeable, but she was supremely polite and patient with me in helping me understand how the process works and why it is that way. * I have what I feel is a particularly complicated request, so it took a quite a while to sort everything out and to understand what the most efficient procedure to follow in applying for this Visa. I had many detailes that needed to be worked out with other people connected with my purpose of traveling to Russia, It's a long trip that will include going back and forth between and a few other countries in the area. Joan was interested in my situation and listened to all of the details in order to know exactly how to help me get the right Visa, and how to correctly apply for it, while also spending the least amount of time waiting and the least amount of money applying for Visa's. * The longer we spoke the more I was relieved that I found a company who really knew what they were doing. Joan obviously truly cared about helping me get the Visa that I need. I was very impressed that, no matter how many questions I had, Joan always knew the right answer. And the one or two questions she was unsure she could give me a definite answer about, she immediately asked people who could answer those questions. Even when she would take a moment to research the answer, I never had to wait but just a short moment. * I consider myself a pretty picky customer, with an unusually-extreme, high level of attention to detail about what I'm doing and how others work with me. * Joan impressed me the most when even after multiple conversations, spanning multiple days that she never EVEN ONCE made me feel like working with me through the details was a burden or that she had something else more important to her to attend to. Anyone who has traveled to other places before and has had to deal with Embassy workers at any length of time understands how they most often than not seam entirely disengaged about helping you and really would rather be somewhere else talking to someone else doing something else. My experience with PassportVisaExpress.com is the complete opposite of that. This is my first experience in working with PassportVisaExpress.com - I intend to bring all of my future business here, and I recommend them in the highest regards to you, and to everyone who finds themselves in the need of such services. read more

I wish I could give them a 10! I mailed my documents and old passport on Monday, a federal holiday, and received my new passport on Friday, even though it was a routine renewal, and my travel plans weren't for a month. They were very quick to respond on email, and when I called to ask a question, I was directly connected to some one who was incredibly helpful. She even deducted my fee for document preparation, as I did it myself. I also sent in photos, although I had paid for the digital version, and that was refunded, as well. They also provided text updates. Amazing service! read more

They met or exceeded my expectations during each step of the process.

I just received my renewed passport. It is Wednesday morning and I mailed in all my documents and paperwork on Saturday. First thing Monday they phoned me to tell me they'd received my order and proceeded to check that all the paperwork and requirements looked good while l waited (to ensure any possible mistakes were caught right away). Since everything was good they proceeded and kept me in the loop during every step of the process via phone calls. Yes, it's pricey. However, they're providing an invaluable service when you have a travel emergency. read more

TRAVELERS TO SAUDI ARABIA BEWARE! Based upon several postive reviews I decided to use this company to help me obtain a visa to visit my children. I became suspicious when their website said I would not need a visa to go to Saudi. Since I know I do need a visa and that it is very complicated to obtain, I called the "contact us" number and the agent asked me how long I would be staying and I told her a week and she said the same thing. When I protested, she transfered me to a number where I got a voicemail message. I decided not to go any further with this company. read more

I have been dealing with PVE (except for @ 6 months last year) almost non-stop for visas, passports, and second passports for the past 3 years. I have always received superior service, and I also feel that the folks here always go the second mile. Due to the nature of my company, I more often than not receive requests, especially for visas, at the last minute, and it turns out to be an insane fire drill to get this stuff done on time. Dee and co. have always been able to "deliver the goods", even when it looked like it was just not going to happen. I couldn't say enough positive things about them. read more

I've used Visa Express for several years now. They have online tracking so you can see where you are in the process. They got me my passport in 10 business days and I couldn't be happier. They were very helpful in getting me all set up. A lot of people don't understand that this service DOES NOT make getting a passport more convenient, getting passports is super inconvenient. What they do is get it to you FASTER. Great service. Had Russian tourist visas for four passports back in two weeks door-to-door. !

This is THE WORST COMPANY to deal with. I have dealt with the director himself who decided to hold my passport for almost to the date of my travel overseas. He held my passport for most a month, after I paid for the services. I had provided a paid U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail envelope to him to return my passport. He decided not to send it to me even though I called him several times, which he ignored by letting the answering machine pickup. I even called the company president, but after hearing from me he also ignored my request to have my passport sent to me. The president and director are from the orient. I had to travel from my state to Arlington, Virginia, a ten (10) hours drive, to obtain my passport. This director tried to swindle me by lying and over charging me for documents to be authenticated in New York city instead of Washington DC for work visa. read more

My passport had expired by just a few days and I needed to travel to Canada. I purchased the 6 to 10 business day plan which put me within 1 day of my travel. To my surprise my passport arrived well in advance of my trip. Since this was my first time doing an expedited passport I contacted them once by phone and twice by their chat line. All three times my questions were answered quickly with no wait time. The one thing that concerned me was that they wanted their money up front before I received any forms. Turned out to be a non issue. As soon as I paid, my forms showed up with explicit and easy to understand instructions. The hardest part of the whole process was going to Walmart to get my picture taken. Thank you PASSPORT VISAS. I would give you more than 5 stars if yelp would let me. read more

If there were more stars available I'd be marking them! Jane Rantung made the impossible happen! We were to go on a service trip to Haiti and 4 days before leaving, my son could not find his passport. The wait lists for appointments with the government offices were all two weeks out. From the online chat to the phone service, each member of Passport Visas helped me figure out ways to further expedite - from going straight to the post office, to driving to the Passport Visas office here in Arlington. Then Jane Rantung leaped into action getting the courier to deliver the passport application, and even a backup when they did not accept our passport photo. Through the entire nail biting process, Jane was positive and professional. This is a great service and worth the expense! read more

I had a client who needed an expedited visa to Russia. The information required was somewhat difficult to ascertain (sponsorships are written in Russian and not clear what numbers corresponded to what sections of the visa), so there was no way I was comfortable securing a visa without a third party. I had used Travisa/CIBT previously and the experience was OK, but not great. I then looked at several other providers. PassportVisaExpress was recommended by travel guru Rick Steves, and since I assumed he was getting a piece of the action did some comparison shopping. In the end I found that PassportVisaExpress was not only cheaper but their customer service ratings were off the charts. After having used them, I can verify that they were indeed extraordinary with regard to response and processing times. Really easy, painless and seamless experience. read more

I needed to get some 2x2 pics taken for a visa application and found this place on Yelp. Alfred B's review made it sound sketchy, but after going there I have no idea what he was going on about. First of all, the office is in the heart of Rosslyn, one of the wealthiest and busiest areas in the DC metro area. The office space appears to favor functional workspace over fancy decoration, but it doesn't come off as shady or creepy in any way. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but I didn't have a problem getting a metered spot at around 2:30pm. The office is within an office building with a cafe, convenience store, and other businesses. Upon entering the Passport Visa Express office, you'll see that there are no frills (they are a primarily online business). There is a very small reception area to the right of the entryway, and a strip of 6-7 short-walled cubicles running along the length of the office. Someone came to assist me immediately upon my entry. He gave me the pricing, took my pictures along the background (along with giving me helpful suggestions and information about certain countries being strict about smiling/not-smiling in visa pictures), processed my photos, took payment, and delivered the photos to me at a rate of $10 for 2 photos. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. I'm very glad I went to this place and I would definitely recommend Passport Visa Express to anyone who is looking for passport/visa photos! Their reviews online seem to be good for online visa processing as well. read more

I ordered and received a Russian tourist visa through PVE and had an excellent experience working with Nadya and her colleagues. Nadya consistently responded to my (many) questions very quickly, by phone and by email, making me feel comfortable and confident about the process from the start. She even researched a question I had about visa registration in Russia after my order had been complete. As for the order itself, I used the longest time period option because my trip was still two months away. Everything went smoothly and we even got the visas back a bit early. I am glad we went through an agency for our visas (going in person to the consulate sounds nightmarish), and very glad I chose PVE to do it! read more

I just received my passport with my Iran Visa which Nadya from Passport Visa Express helped me obtain. Nadya sent me email updates and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Passport Visa Express any time that you need a visa to visit a foreign country. Thanks Nadya... read more

Ok I just received my passport and here is the scoop. My passport became damaged after mistakenly being put in the washer and dryer. An expedited passport takes about 3 weeks and I had just more than that before my trip BUT Christmas and New Years were upcoming so I was fearful of delays. The service isn't too badly priced. I paid $200 for 2-3 business day processing plus $30 for overnight return shipping. I had my appointment with the post office (where they check id and such) on the 12/29 and overnighted everything to PVE so they had it on the 30th. I got an email telling me the passport appointment was on the 1/4 (following Monday) which was pretty quick. Technically you can do everything yourself but for me, I live 6 hours from the nearest official passport office so I would've had to spend money for gas ($100), hotel ($100) AND take a vaca day from work so using PVE was a better option, although if I lived within an hour of an official passport office. I received my passport in the mail on 1/8 and it says it was completed on the 6th. So they were true to there 2-3 day processing time (appointment on 4th and done on 6th). The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because 1. I had a slight delay. PVE called me and said my passport photo was unusable but provided no more info. They said they needed another photo. I said no problem because I had included a second photo but they said they could not find it. But they told me I could send a digital photo and they would print it and take it over which I did and it only cost me a day. When I called DOS they said my included photo had an red ink spot on the photo. No Clue how that could have happened because I saw them before I sent them. When I received my passport low and behold, the second passport photo which they said they couldn't find was in there! Lol. I also think the tracking online could be updated more regularly which would ease the tension and stress of having an upcoming trip and awaiting a passport. But overall I recommend PVE 100% despite the small hiccup which was corrected quickly. I plan to go to Brazil in the future and will likely use them (I live in the middle of nowhere and using a service is quicker and easier than going to a consulate). If you need a passport quick and can't go yourself, look no further than PVE! Thanks to everyone at PVE, my trip will go on. read more

I'll cut to the chase for those that are short of time. I highly recommend Passport Visas Express! I had a great experience and they exceeded all my expectations and.... ...for those with some more time on their hands, here is the rest. I have family in Canada I was planning to visit. So, I needed two new passports for my children as well as one new adult passport. By the time I finalized my plans and completed airline reservations I had approximately 30 days remaining. I began to look at reviews for various passport expediting on-line businesses. Reviewed guidance from Consumer's as well. I reached out to Passport Visas Express and knew almost immediately this the right choice. I spent nearly 15 minutes asking a series of questions over their IM chat from filling out DS-11 forms - - to how Passport Express processes orders and requests. After that chat I selected Passport Express. I set up my account and requested express passport orders. The web site is very easy to follow and straight forward. All the information and directions you need are right there. However, if you are like me and don't read ALL the instructions, the customer service team there is extremely patient, kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I ran into a couple of complications with one of our passport photos and some extremely poor service from UPS as an added bonus. The team at Passport Express provided terrific support even though it was not their fault. Just a great team. And I would like to add more thanks and a shout out to Celia and Jane!
