I visited passion nails today for the first time and had my appointment with Sophie. I had previous work on my nails but wasn't exactly sure what she did- no problem once I file them off we will see. I told her I wanted a regular gel manicure and didn't realize what she was doing until I went to pay and charged me for builder gel. She also asked me during the service if I wanted my cuticles trimmed.. which nobody's ever asked before so I stated yes they probably need it.. again when I see services charged -- $15! To trim cuticles --what!? She never said it would cost extra. Additionally never asked what shape I'd like my nails which are uneven. Needless to say I've never had to spend that much on my nails. I got a gel pedicure & gel mani with nail design. I received services from Tina, Tom, & Suki. Each manicurist was professional, friendly, & skilled. Tina did my pedicure. They have a few diff options for pedicures. I usually get the first level because I'm ticklish. Highlight of pedicure was the hot stones! Tom did my manicure's shaping for my gel set. He was gentle & did a good job. Nice attention to detail. Suki did the nail design. I originally showed something different, but she tweaked the inspiration photo to complement my nails better. You can use a credit card ($1.50 fee) and the tip can get split between them. I tip 20%, you're welcome to tip more though! Cash is king & always preferred. They provide a receipt & that breaks down their services on it. I brought my four year old for his first manicure and he wanted to put his feet in the water too. I was unsure wether he would like it or not. He's not really a child who like strangers to touch him. I agreed to let him try and he got the child's Mani/ Pedi special. The woman was so kind and patient and the child had a huge grin on the entire time. We booked 2 mani and pedi w/ dipped polish online. The owner contacted very quickly to confirm the booking. 2. Arrived at appointment time and they immediately started on the pedicure. My friend and I went in to both get fills sets and the same girl did both of our nails and tried to go back and forth between doing my friends nails and doing mine. The whole process seemed very rushed. We didn't get a base coat and they almost forgot the top coat. If I could give 0 stars I would. The OWNER did my moms nails and when she spoke up and said she didn't like the color and he was completely rude about it all. Dismissed her to let them dry and to wait for someone else to fix. She's sitting for one minute and he comes to her and tells her to move for someone else to sit there. She got up and sat up front to wait for the other tech and he came BACK UP TO HER and said you don't like them? When she nicely said no I don't and he told her to leave the salon. I gotta admit, I get lazy when it comes to taking the time to give credit where it's due - but I had such an incredible experience at this salon that I not only had to review on their Facebook page, I need to come here as well. Jessie did such an incredible job with my nails. About one week ago, I had a manicure at a salon in Tennessee. It was horrendous. Multiple layers on my nails, super thick/chunky polish, and it wasn't even the color/style I had requested! As soon as Jessie got to working on my nails, one of the first things she pointed out was how thick the polish was, and mentioned that that's not how the polish should be. She worked very hard to get all of it off, filed out my nails evenly (seriously, guys - she is a perfectionist! She made sure to inspect them at different angles to ensure evenness all throughout!!!), and had the dipping powder applied in no time at all. It was literally one of the quickest, not to mention thorough, manicures I think I have ever received. I'm devastated I don't permanently live here in FL, otherwise this would hands-down be my go-to salon!!! Thank you again, Jessie!!! read more

I have been going here for about a year and most experiences were mediocre, but I continued to go since the prices were a little cheaper. This time I went, they asked me to wash my hands first (policy due to covid). I appreciated the effort made to keep their customers healthy. I didn't appreciate that there was nothing to dry my hands on, since all of their towels were used. Then, I had to get the gel removed from my nails from my previous manicure. The woman got all of my nail filings on me from the drill and made no effort to keep it from going somewhere other than my pants (which quickly turned from black to ashy white). Aside from that, the reason I am writing this review is because the older woman who works there literally DESTROYED my hands. I wanted a regular manicure to give my nails a healthy break from the gel. It was pretty obvious from the start she never listened to anything I asked because she was getting out the equipment for a gel manicure. I told her again I only wanted regular nail polish. Then, she asked if I wanted to cut or file my nails. I asked her to file them. She asked what shape and I asked for round. She filed one nail into a square and showed me, asking if that's what I wanted. I said no, and described to her that I didn't want a flat top- I wanted round nails. She then filed my beautifully long nails very aggressively down to the skin. I honestly thought she might set my hands on fire or something with how hard she went. On top of that, they were square. At that point I couldn't ask her to fix it because there was no nail left to fix. Then she started picking at my cuticles until they bled. I was so in shock with how she filed my nails that I didn't even say anything when she was picking the skin off of my fingers. She didn't seem to notice the blood or me wincing. Lastly, she did a HORRIBLE job with the painting. 0/10. Please do not go here to get your nails done. My nails have been occasionally bleeding (4 separate nails) and two others have broken. I'm praying I don't get an infection from this place. I will never come back. read more

I really try not to write negative reviews, as I prefer my yelp to be upbeat and fun. But after this experience affected my health and was not handled well by the business, I feel the need to share. I've been going to passion nails for pedicures about every 3 weeks for months, and I've raved about them to all my friends. Good value, friendly atmosphere, etc. However, I went 2 days ago and for the second time, the same girl doing my pedicure ripped my cuticles so bad that they bled. To the point that she had to put some solution and a cotton ball on the areas THREE TIMES, because the bleeding would not stop. So I sort of decided to cut my losses and start going somewhere else. Unfortunately, I woke up today to find that those areas are definitely infected. Both big toes are red, inflamed, and full of white blood cells. I decided to give passion nails an opportunity to make it right, simply asking for a refund. And again, I would cut my physical losses and move on. However, they refused to refund me. Sat me down in a pedicure chair and poked around more at my cuticles, claiming there were "no cuts" and turning it back on me asking if I put something on my feet after my appointment. I told her she was hurting me and, again, just asked for a refund. Again they told me no, offered me a gift card instead (which I will never use because I no longer trust this place), and made it seem like they were doing me a favor, like "there's no cut there but since you're the customer we'll offer you a gift card out of the kindness of our hearts." So, because they couldn't spare the $25 refund, I'm writing this review to warn others. I hope this was a one-off occurrence, but be careful of the tools and customer service here. It may run me well beyond $25 if I have to go to urgent care to get this treated read more
