My nails were initially pretty brittle (acrylic damage), but she was VERY gentle with me!! Did not over-file, did not pull or tug. If I'm back in the area, I will see sunny again

My mom is recovering from a surgery, and every visit to Space Coast Nails is met with patience and…read morekindness as they help her to her chair. Helen the manicurist does for her nails every couple of weeks, and Mom always chooses the spa mani-pedi, which she truly enjoys. She loves the scented water treatment, soft, fresh, and pleasantly subtle. Since Mom's nails grow quickly, Helen trims them, and though it's not her favorite part, Helen's skill and gentle touch put her at ease. Mom usually picks the same nail color, and Helen always has it ready. The appointments are never rushed, creating a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Helen is warm and attentive, and the salon is spotless, with chairs wiped down and bowls thoroughly cleaned. The spa mani-pedi is about $65 plus tip, and although we've tried other great local salons, this one is our favorite. Mom's nails always look beautiful and perfectly done. Five stars and absolutely worth visiting.

Long story short he wasn't going to be in the salon and told me someone else would fix. I went in and the owner told me Tysons father would fix. He filed the corner of my nail off and put a clear coat on top. It looked horrible! The top coat wrinkled. Needless to say I went elsewhere to have my nails redone. I think the products are old. This salon isn't very busy, I can clearly see why. The salon could use a good cleaning also! I can't say I recommend the salon.

It's taken me awhile to write this review because as people I do like both Sue & Faith. However, I…read morefeel like it should be said that the prices here are outrageous. I went here a total of 3 times. the least amount spent was about $120 and the most over $350. The thing is when I checked their website and booked the appointments the services never added up to the prices charged after the fact. For one visit, it was myself, my mother and my 7 year old daughter. My daughter was getting her first mani/pedi. Sue was sweet to her, although for her first time it would have made a nice impression if she made a little more effort for conversation. By the time my feet were done, my daughters fingers and toes had smudges in the paint. Sue was very fast to paint them and move on, even though it would seem I was charged the same for her quick careless pedicure as I was charged for my mothers adult pedicure. Mine on the other hand, ouch! I have very cracked feet and Faith immediately said "Oh we're going to take care of that" then explained she was going to use a Manuka honey on them. I should have stopped her and asked what the uncharge was for that but I didn't and later when it was time to pay I realized it was $90 for that treatment! Holy cow. She also cut the toenails without asking making them short and odd looking. I liked them so I came back. Even brought my daughter back another time but sadly again the service she got was so rushed she was done with both mani/pedi before I was done with just the pedicure. It wasn't until I realized my friends were getting their nails done for more than half the price I was paying and they looked just as good. The last time I was there i saw a sign saying cash only. When I asked Faith said it was ok if I pay in Credit card this time but they've been getting killed with the credit card fees. I wish these ladies well but I do not think Ill be back. I think they have put themselves in a very bougie light but the services just don't hold up.

Now that display has been taken down and the two employees who did the detailed designs seem to have left or are rarely there. On several occasions I've been turned away because they "didn't have time to do both a manicure and pedicure". Note that they had over an hour before close. As for their pricing, it used to be worth the money, but with the current staff especially the owner who's rude (she's the one who turned me away multiple times) it's no longer worth it. I live in Rockledge and used to drive out to Melbourne just to get my nails done here. Not anymore. I recommend Diva Nails in Rockledge, the pricing is far more reasonable and their staff is always happy to take the time to do any nail design I request. Save your money and go elsewhere.
