I went in remembering the amazing croissant with custard cream I ate a while ago and I was thinking 5*, based on the expressions today, I'm leaning towards 4*, or even less. If I didn't have a prior excellent experience I'd probably give 3*. The ambiance is very nice, very classic Milanese bar/pasticceria with a lot of history. The staff is very formal, not very welcoming, but not rude. Just cold. The espresso drinks were ok, coffee taste was not the best around but whatever. We got two mini sfogliatelle with cream. The custard cream was amazing as I remembered, if that was the only thing I got from this place, I'd give it 10*. The shell of the sfogliatelle was sub optimal, kind of tough to bite and somewhat stale. I scooped up all the cream filling and left the shell behind, not pleasant. A bit pricey, but that's to be expected, we sat down and it's in an expensive area of Milan. If you're craving cream, definitely go and get a cream croissant. read more
