Since my father owns an auto shop back up North, I always come in with a set of very specific instructions, especially when it comes to my oil changes. Each one of my cars has a specific set of instructions I want followed because each one has its own little finicky things. Lucas first, don't top off fluids except washer fluid, only use manual tools and not drills, etc. the guys who work here have ALWAYS abided by my instructions without hesitation. They don't ever make me feel like a nuisance or burden and are always very polite and professional. Today was no different. Nick worked on my Mercedes to get my oil change done and then Derek worked on my new tire installation. Between the pleasant conversations, not ever trying to rip me off because I'm a female, and their overall politeness and ability to work on my cars the way I want them to, I will continue coming back year after year and bringing all of my cars here ranging from the more normal ones to the imports. They do have a pretty high turnover rate of workers, so just as I get to know one set of them, a new set arrives, but every single set of guys has been very helpful and respectful. I would absolutely recommend this shop, ESPECIALLY to females, because they won't try to rip you off like most shops around here will try to do just because they think you don't know what you're talking about and are an easy target. I also always bring in my own oil and filters (and even my own tires) and they have no issues using MY equipment, which many shops in the area will refuse to do. If you're hesitant, don't be. If you're also a female and are worried about someone trying to pull a fast one on you, trust me this shop won't even try it.

My friend, a white man, told Mark he was disappointed and informed him that I only came because he recommended me. I could have gone somewhere else because I've never been to a Firestone. Mark eventually said they would finish my car that night. While there, he also discussed employee relations, stating the person who rang me, Rico (I think), didn't ring me up correctly. Apparently, he gave me an extra $80 discount on the 4 tires I bought. He was talking about the guy kept messing up and he was going to fire him, etc. Just rude and unprofessional. Then the next day, the cashier ( I think he said his name was Rico) called to "check" on me. He was really trying to see if I was single. Upon arrival, I asked about the missing oil, and a young employee who identified himself as the Assistant Manager engaged with me in a manner that lacked professionalism and respect. As a 68-year-old customer, I calmly reiterated my concern regarding the oil level. Another employee confirmed that the oil was at its lowest level, while the Service Assistant claimed my oil change was overdue--despite my vehicle indicating 15% oil life remaining. When I requested a proper inspection, the Service Assistant became visibly agitated, raised his voice, and aggressively approached me, physically pushing me twice against my car. He proceeded to use offensive local slang, which I found deeply disrespectful and inappropriate. Feeling unsafe, I entered my vehicle and contacted Customer Service. Mrs. Natasha listened attentively and advised me to leave the premises and wait 24 hours for follow-up from the security department. It has now been two weeks, and I have not received any communication from Valvoline. I am left feeling physically assaulted, emotionally distressed, and concerned for my safety--especially knowing that this employee has access to my personal information, including my name, address, and phone number.
