Very nice manager. but tried to upcharge me on everything. was told new tires would cost me $900, that's with "getting 2 free." when I declined one thing, I was told I need something else. I don't think my car needed half of it. I believe they only wanted to make a sale. very disappointed. Firestone has lost a customer. read more

I went to Firestone to buy some new tires, and the staff was very helpful. I was told the best tires to get for my miles. The wait was not long at all. My tires were dry rotted that's why I need new tires. I was tired of being on flat and needing to put air in my tires every other day. read more

Had my daughter's car dropped off on a Wednesday, according to the team member they were unable to do the work. Went to pick the car up Saturday and the advisor said they have a tech starting on Monday that can do the work. Jump to Thursday, the car is still parked in the same spot outside. I ask when are they starting the work and they said maybe tomorrow they would have to see. How ever its a thirteen hour job. Come to find out they don't have a clue what's wrong nor do they have a tech that can complete the work . Complete waste of time and rental car. Instead of lying just be honest. I have had issues before with them so shame on me but the car's warranty is SilverRock. I defiantly will let them know how they do business, with a 7 day return window who has time for these types of mistakes Regina Randolph read more

A few days ago took car to Firestone/Poplar Ave-Memphis, TN for synthetic oil change. Had appt but it took almost 3 hrs to finish. Didn't drive car the next day but discovered oil leaking the day after. Brought it back yesterday to be fixed, told it was. Drove away. Today, car again leaking. Waiting 3 hrs for it to be fixed... Still here. Beyond frustrated & trips here causing money loss. read more

I had to get my car towed on April 14, 2025, because I had two tires blow out. Upon arriving, I was told that my wait would be 3 hours. It was almost 4 hours and I hadn't heard from them. I called, and Mark told me it would be the next day. Of course, I wanted to know why no one called to inform me. My friend and I went back because that was not going to work for me. It's bad business. If things change, then let people know so they can make an informed decision on next steps. And Mark was rude. My friend, a white man, told Mark he was disappointed and informed him that I only came because he recommended me. I could have gone somewhere else because I've never been to a Firestone. Mark eventually said they would finish my car that night. While there, he also discussed employee relations, stating the person who rang me, Rico (I think), didn't ring me up correctly. Apparently, he gave me an extra $80 discount on the 4 tires I bought. He was talking about the guy kept messing up and he was going to fire him, etc. Just rude and unprofessional. Then the next day, the cashier ( I think he said his name was Rico) called to "check" on me. He was really trying to see if I was single. I'm just glad I put my business post office box address on my account profile. This store needs an overhaul and quick. Would not recommend. read more

Curtis Huneycut helped me with the purchase of a set of tires for my TOYOTA Tundra truck. He was informative about which tires I should buy, courteous, pleasant and prompt. I trust and respect his professional opinion and would recommend anyone to contact Curtis at Firestone for tires or auto service. read more

If there's a 0 star I would give it to this place I come in on the Sunday morning at 9:30 for a new tire the service guy told me it will be done around 2 hours and they will call me and then we waited about 2-3 hours and haven't got any calls from them so i called them and asked is my car done yet and they said it would be the and of the day before they closed and i was okay about that because i saw they only have 2 people working in there. So i got my car back and went straight to my house first thing in the morning I saw my tire was completely flat And I went back again and told them what happened and they fixed and again after few hours around later the tire getting flat again. read more

Listen, I know that there are policies and procedures that play a big part in how technicians respond to the needs of customers in need, but So this morning, after dropping off my son for football conditioning, I stop at Walmart's gas station on Whitten for a fill up. After finishing up, I get back in the vehicle and guess what? It won't start. I'm thinking it's the battery (easy fix). You'd think I'd panic and flip out about this, but I didn't because within walking distance is a Firestone, plus my husband was at work anyway and wouldn't get to me anytime soon. So I walk on over to Firestone to explain the situation and asked that if I purchased a battery from them, would it be possible for someone to walk over and put it on for me. His response was "no mam, we can't work off premises". But if you can get someone to jump it off, drive it over here and we'll work you in." My response was "no, sir. I'll figure something out." I walk out and ended up having to call my husband anyway. Firestone - do better. 1) you could see the vehicle from your window. 2) a battery for this Honda was a simple install. read more

Took two hours to attempt an alignment check on my truck. Finally realized their equipment was broken after making multiple adjustments. Truck was completely out of alignment after. Immediately took to a different location and fixed thankfully. If going to Firestone, drive a few more miles to a different location, don't waste your time here. read more

Was charged for installation of rear shocks and tire sensors. They did not install any rear shocks, and my tire senor light keeps jumping off and on. I asked the manager for a refund, and he says, " Oh, no. We dont do that." I'm still waiting to hear from the area manager. Fair warning to all. We had a tire blow out on us and needed it get it replaced. I have used Firestone for years because of the convenience and speed, however this is a new firestone for us. I gave my wife's number for them to contact because they said it was an easy fix and they'd be able to complete it the next morning by 10am and I was heading out of town. It was a full week before we were able to receive the car. During that week it was at their shop they confused my wife into agreeing to purchase a an extra steel wheel that was unnecessary because we had an extra one in the backseat. We then picked up the car after Firestone claimed to have done a courtesy inspection and had all green lights minus the brakes. Within 24 hours of us picking it up my wife was stuck stalled out in the middle of the road, which had never happened. We were extremely unhappy with this last Firestone experience to say the least. read more

They only have 2 technicians available. Refused to patch my tire and said I had to buy a new one. We asked why they won't patch it and they said it's too close to the tire wall. When we asked "at what measurement is it too close to the tire wall?" The man just walked away shouting that they won't patch it and left the room and didn't come back. Real professional. Leaving a woman and child stranded because he wants to sell a new tire. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dropped my work truck off at 830am for an oil change and was told it would be a 2 hour wait. 345 rolled around and they told me my truck was too heavy so they couldn't do the oil change. They've done it before on this exact truck. They cost me an entire day of work and didn't even apologize. read more

Visiting from SC. I ran over a nail and my tire was completely flat the next morning. My warning system in the Z350 had warned me but I could only get an appointment for the next day. I needed a place near by so we would not have to change the tire but could use fix a flat to drive safe distance from where my son and I were staying. I looked up the tire and it stated in stock. Background. I have mechanic anxiety. I hate taking my car in for any type of repair because I feel they are always there to get over on you. I told my son the night I was looking that I bet when we take it in I am going to get the statement, "We don't have it in stock" Sure enough, we get in there the first thing I am told is that one is not there and the one I need is $163.00 The one I ordered was $93.00. I retorted with that is not what I It showed last night so I am already seething. So he walks with my son to my car and says the right rear is also bad. We decide to just fix the tire I placed the ticket in for. So after a moment he lets me know he quoted the wrong price and the rear tire was a bit more. Now we're up from 101.00 from last night to $208.00. I am so not not happy. The wait was not long. When I went to check out, the front desk attendant had reduced the price down by $50.00 Now I am happy again. read more

These guys did something tremendous for me. I went to Costco that morning and tried to remove a bolt out of my front tire. The Costco workers explained to me that the bolt was to close to the side wall so they could not fix it. So I decided to go to practice after that and my tire popped. Not knowing where to go since it was 6 o clock and most tire stores were already closed/closing soon, I saw that I was next to this place. When I got there my donut was flat in which they filled up my tire for free. The guy at the front desk said he may not be able to fix it tonight but they decided to right before they closed. read more

Try to avoid this place is the worst ever the manager is so unprofessional and workers even more never coming back here

I came in with a tire that was slowly leaking. The guys at the counter are great. The downside is the wait. Can't blame these guys for being popular but wow I couldn't even get in the 3-hr line yesterday and today it's been two hours. The tire couldn't be repaired and a new one has to be ordered. Kinda disappointed that it wasn't in stock so I could get everything done right now but that's life. I have to come back tomorrow and finish my tire rotation when they have the new tire in stock. If a customer could take a number, get a time, and come back rather than sitting and waiting or getting an Uber, this would be a lot better. I get why that may not work for some but there are ways to make it work. Appointments would be so much better and more convenient. Overall great service so far so let's hope that tire comes in and I can get it mounted in the one hour window I'll have tomorrow. Kudos on having free WiFi while I waited and for having chargers for customer phones. Those amenities do help! read more

My elderly African-American mother ran over something in the road. She was able to pull into this Firestone and all three white men said they couldn't change the tire until tomorrow. She had her own spare tire. This is NOT the time for continued racism. I will never recommend anyone to visit this place of business. read more

I asked for an oil change and for a tire with a nail in it to be patched. Instead, the tire still has the nail in it and I was offered a deal for replacing the other three tires... I was told that it wasn't leaking air, which is why they didn't fix it. Funny how having to continue putting air in that specific tire made me realize I should take it in to get fixed. I probably would have been more accepting of a tire deal if the tire I went there for in the first place was fixed. Now, I have to go somewhere else to get a patch. Honestly wished they would have called before doing my oil change so I wouldn't have had to pay for any services from them. It's mind blowing that they left the nail in the tire. read more

Amazing customer service, very helpful and knowledgeable. Best Firestone location in town!

I came in for a gear shift issue on my Ford Fusion. They fixed the issue and along the way the told me my battery need to be recharged. Once I picked up my vehicle my screen was no longer working. No radio, no back up camera, nothing. It was completely black. I took it back to the location the next day and was told it wasn't working when it arrived, there is nothing they can do. However, It was working when I had it towed to this location. Once it came off the tow truck I turned the car on and my screen was working! They tired today say it wasn't working then they received it which is a lie. When they charged my battery they did something electronically that messed up the screen in my car and then acted as if it wasn't there fault and they had no idea what to do. The service I paid for was $498 only to have them break something else. I ended up having to take my car to the Ford dealership and they told me it needed to be reset. It was an easy fix thank god but Firestone completely messed up and then acted as if they didn't know what was going on and tried to place the blame on me. I will NEVER be back to another Firestone. They are unprofessional, over priced and I complete headache. As I was sitting at Ford, the store manager Andrew Long called to apologize for not taking a deeper look into my car due to the line of people he had in his lobby. He offered a solution over the phone but I've already resolved the issue. He should probably take his customers as they come and not allow me to leave upset if he knew there was something he could have tried to resolve the issue. Like I said unprofessional and I complete waste of time. I do not recommend this location. read more

Dropped my car off at 10am. I have never had an issue and have been using them for years. My car is always ready on time. I showed up at 4:49 and he said it would be ready by 6 but he could finish the oil change and leave the bad tire on. I said, no. It was brought on for a tire. I have spent thousands of dollars at this Firestone but will not any more. read more

I went into this Firestone at 4:40pm on Saturday 7/28/18. My tire was loosing air. I explained that I was passing through Memphis from North West Arkansas and going home to South Carolina tonight. They said that they could not help me today and that I would have to wait till tomorrow. They did not care about customer service or that I was traveling through town. All they wanted to do was get out of there at the 5:00pm closing time. I will never stop at another Firestone. read more

I have had various automobiles repaired here over the last few years - Tires, brakes, etc. Service has been good, the people are polite, and they do things as promised. The prices are sometimes competitive with other local shops, and sometimes not. I like the fact that they have a good website, with services and prices listed there. I gave them 3 stars mainly because one time they refused to fix a flat tire because they said the tire tire needed replacing and would not be safe to use if repaired. I got it fixed elsewhere, because I think it should be my choice if I want to use a particular tire or not. read more

horrible customer service, they didn't didn't ask for my approval for the final price which was 1800. i don't mind paying that but it's the fact that he gave me two different prices prior which was very confusing to me. i felt like they tried to screw me over with adding a bunch of stuff i didn't ask for. read more

Second visit in nine months. Incompetent staff. First visit they said my tires weren't round. So I bought theirs. Now they fail again. Same spot. Oh you need a rear alignment. And we don't do those. Should have listened. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! from these crooks. They wanted $2300 to fix my AC problem. They told me I needed a new compressor, a new condenser, a new expansion valve...etc. I took the same car to Mike at Pepboys located on Pleasant Ave. He had my AC blowing colder than an igloo for $57 (w/ military discount). Turns out- I overcharged the unit with store brought AC and it knock something out of wack. They simply drained the old refrigerant and replaced it. I wouldn't allow firestone to replace a gas cap!!!!!! read more

Yet again, great service as they installed 4 new tires on my Genesis. My family has been going to Firestone for over a decade with 7 vehicles with lifetime "everything"... Some locations are better than others. This one is my favorite. Ben has been extremely helpful every time I've been in with either of my vehicles, always responsive and a great communicator. Every Firestone location needs a guy or two like him up front... keep him happy! read more

I have a lowered vehicle and sadly 6 months ago I was in an accident. The body shop sent me to a different mechanic who blamed all the steering problems on it being lowered. These guys however have common sense and diagnosed it correctly. My rack was leaking and bent from the accident and they nailed it first time. They also let me know that I had some damage to my leaf springs and maybe a bend in the back. I'm just thankful they actually looked at my vehicle and didn't write it off like the rest. They were very friendly and I was very pleased. read more

I made an appt yesterday for 11 am today. I arrived at 1045 and at 1140 they finally took my car in. I waited an hour before my car was even started on. Why did I even make an appt? I was skeptical about going to a place in Memphis because there is such a high rate of sensors being stolen off of cars. I have reluctantly gone to Serra of Bartlett for the past year. Well after the latest let down and shitty service from them I decided to give Firestone a shot. The reviews seemed promising so I scheduled an appointment. Much to my surprise the place was very clean and the service people where super friendly. I was greeted continuously by my name and kept up to date with the status of my new tires. While I was waiting, the staff was warm and friendly to all the patrons who came in. Although the wait time was a little longer than quoted, it was a fraction of the time I would have spent at the dealership. These people ROCK! Thank you for treating me like a valued customer. Gary, Jasmine, and William did a wonderful job being attentive to all the customers. I will return and I will spread the word! Amazing. Thanks read more

this is regarding firestone at 1921 whitten rd./ complete auto care~ went in w/ $19.99 coupon for an oil change; this was for 5 quarts, which is what my car holds. i noticed a few minutes after leaving that i was charged $26.76; i immediately called & was informed that they had to put in 5 & 1/2 quarts plus tax. that computes that tax plus 1/2 quart of (un-needed) oil ran about 7 bucks... if i could leave a half-star review, that would be more fitting... pew on firestone... & yeah, i'll probably be back, when firestone freezes over~ larry changes read more

I called at 5:30 pm from home which is over 40 miles away. My wife was 8 minutes away on Germantown Pkwy with very rough riding suburban not safe to get on interstate. George said he can't promise they'll get it in but could try. I called her and sent her over there. A woman at the desk told her they couldn't. I understand you can't get people in just because they show up. At some point you have to close and go home. But they told my wife and 9yr old son they couldn't check out the vehicle even though they knew she lived so far away. I've worked a lot of jobs and I've been very busy but I believe I could find some time, after close or not, to help a woman and her child get home. This Firestone was the 3rd place I called. The other Firestone on Getmantown Pkwy and Patriot Lane wouldn't help her either, nor would Raliegh Tire Service who closes at 6:00 but it was 5:30 when I called. This is very disappointing!! read more
