Had my daughter's car dropped off on a Wednesday, according to the team member they were unable to do the work. Went to pick the car up Saturday and the advisor said they have a tech starting on Monday that can do the work. Jump to Thursday, the car is still parked in the same spot outside. I ask when are they starting the work and they said maybe tomorrow they would have to see. How ever its a thirteen hour job. Come to find out they don't have a clue what's wrong nor do they have a tech that can complete the work . Complete waste of time and rental car. Instead of lying just be honest. I have had issues before with them so shame on me but the car's warranty is SilverRock. I had to get my car towed on April 14, 2025, because I had two tires blow out. Upon arriving, I was told that my wait would be 3 hours. It was almost 4 hours and I hadn't heard from them. I called, and Mark told me it would be the next day. Of course, I wanted to know why no one called to inform me. My friend and I went back because that was not going to work for me. It's bad business. If things change, then let people know so they can make an informed decision on next steps. And Mark was rude. My friend, a white man, told Mark he was disappointed and informed him that I only came because he recommended me. I could have gone somewhere else because I've never been to a Firestone. Mark eventually said they would finish my car that night. While there, he also discussed employee relations, stating the person who rang me, Rico (I think), didn't ring me up correctly. Apparently, he gave me an extra $80 discount on the 4 tires I bought. He was talking about the guy kept messing up and he was going to fire him, etc. Just rude and unprofessional. Then the next day, the cashier ( I think he said his name was Rico) called to "check" on me. He was really trying to see if I was single. After finishing up, I get back in the vehicle and guess what? It won't start. I'm thinking it's the battery (easy fix). You'd think I'd panic and flip out about this, but I didn't because within walking distance is a Firestone, plus my husband was at work anyway and wouldn't get to me anytime soon. So I walk on over to Firestone to explain the situation and asked that if I purchased a battery from them, would it be possible for someone to walk over and put it on for me. His response was "no mam, we can't work off premises". But if you can get someone to jump it off, drive it over here and we'll work you in." My response was "no, sir. I'll figure something out." We had a tire blow out on us and needed it get it replaced. I have used Firestone for years because of the convenience and speed, however this is a new firestone for us. I gave my wife's number for them to contact because they said it was an easy fix and they'd be able to complete it the next morning by 10am and I was heading out of town. It was a full week before we were able to receive the car. During that week it was at their shop they confused my wife into agreeing to purchase a an extra steel wheel that was unnecessary because we had an extra one in the backseat. We then picked up the car after Firestone claimed to have done a courtesy inspection and had all green lights minus the brakes. Within 24 hours of us picking it up my wife was stuck stalled out in the middle of the road, which had never happened. We were extremely unhappy with this last Firestone experience to say the least. read more

I needed a place near by so we would not have to change the tire but could use fix a flat to drive safe distance from where my son and I were staying. I looked up the tire and it stated in stock. These guys did something tremendous for me. I went to Costco that morning and tried to remove a bolt out of my front tire. The Costco workers explained to me that the bolt was to close to the side wall so they could not fix it. So I decided to go to practice after that and my tire popped. Not knowing where to go since it was 6 o clock and most tire stores were already closed/closing soon, I saw that I was next to this place. I came in with a tire that was slowly leaking. The guys at the counter are great. The downside is the wait. Can't blame these guys for being popular but wow I couldn't even get in the 3-hr line yesterday and today it's been two hours. The tire couldn't be repaired and a new one has to be ordered. Kinda disappointed that it wasn't in stock so I could get everything done right now but that's life. I have to come back tomorrow and finish my tire rotation when they have the new tire in stock. If a customer could take a number, get a time, and come back rather than sitting and waiting or getting an Uber, this would be a lot better. I get why that may not work for some but there are ways to make it work. Appointments would be so much better and more convenient. Overall great service so far so let's hope that tire comes in and I can get it mounted in the one hour window I'll have tomorrow. I asked for an oil change and for a tire with a nail in it to be patched. Instead, the tire still has the nail in it and I was offered a deal for replacing the other three tires... I was told that it wasn't leaking air, which is why they didn't fix it. Funny how having to continue putting air in that specific tire made me realize I should take it in to get fixed. I probably would have been more accepting of a tire deal if the tire I went there for in the first place was fixed. Now, I have to go somewhere else to get a patch. I came in for a gear shift issue on my Ford Fusion. They fixed the issue and along the way the told me my battery need to be recharged. Once I picked up my vehicle my screen was no longer working. No radio, no back up camera, nothing. It was completely black. I took it back to the location the next day and was told it wasn't working when it arrived, there is nothing they can do. However, It was working when I had it towed to this location. Once it came off the tow truck I turned the car on and my screen was working! They tired today say it wasn't working then they received it which is a lie. When they charged my battery they did something electronically that messed up the screen in my car and then acted as if it wasn't there fault and they had no idea what to do. The service I paid for was $498 only to have them break something else. I ended up having to take my car to the Ford dealership and they told me it needed to be reset. It was an easy fix thank god but Firestone completely messed up and then acted as if they didn't know what was going on and tried to place the blame on me. I will NEVER be back to another Firestone. They are unprofessional, over priced and I complete headache. As I was sitting at Ford, the store manager Andrew Long called to apologize for not taking a deeper look into my car due to the line of people he had in his lobby. He offered a solution over the phone but I've already resolved the issue. He should probably take his customers as they come and not allow me to leave upset if he knew there was something he could have tried to resolve the issue. The prices are sometimes competitive with other local shops, and sometimes not. I like the fact that they have a good website, with services and prices listed there. I gave them 3 stars mainly because one time they refused to fix a flat tire because they said the tire tire needed replacing and would not be safe to use if repaired. I got it fixed elsewhere, because I think it should be my choice if I want to use a particular tire or not. read more

They told me I needed a new compressor, a new condenser, a new expansion valve...etc. I took the same car to Mike at Pepboys located on Pleasant Ave. He had my AC blowing colder than an igloo for $57 (w/ military discount). Turns out- I overcharged the unit with store brought AC and it knock something out of wack. They simply drained the old refrigerant and replaced it. I have a lowered vehicle and sadly 6 months ago I was in an accident. The body shop sent me to a different mechanic who blamed all the steering problems on it being lowered. These guys however have common sense and diagnosed it correctly. My rack was leaking and bent from the accident and they nailed it first time. They also let me know that I had some damage to my leaf springs and maybe a bend in the back. I'm just thankful they actually looked at my vehicle and didn't write it off like the rest. I was skeptical about going to a place in Memphis because there is such a high rate of sensors being stolen off of cars. I have reluctantly gone to Serra of Bartlett for the past year. Well after the latest let down and shitty service from them I decided to give Firestone a shot. The reviews seemed promising so I scheduled an appointment. Much to my surprise the place was very clean and the service people where super friendly. I was greeted continuously by my name and kept up to date with the status of my new tires. While I was waiting, the staff was warm and friendly to all the patrons who came in. Although the wait time was a little longer than quoted, it was a fraction of the time I would have spent at the dealership. These people ROCK! Thank you for treating me like a valued customer. this is regarding firestone at 1921 whitten rd./ complete auto care~ went in w/ $19.99 coupon for an oil change; this was for 5 quarts, which is what my car holds. i noticed a few minutes after leaving that i was charged $26.76; i immediately called & was informed that they had to put in 5 & 1/2 quarts plus tax. that computes that tax plus 1/2 quart of (un-needed) oil ran about 7 bucks... if i could leave a half-star review, that would be more fitting... pew on firestone... & yeah, i'll probably be back, when firestone freezes over~ larry changes read more

I called at 5:30 pm from home which is over 40 miles away. My wife was 8 minutes away on Germantown Pkwy with very rough riding suburban not safe to get on interstate. George said he can't promise they'll get it in but could try. I called her and sent her over there. A woman at the desk told her they couldn't. I understand you can't get people in just because they show up. At some point you have to close and go home. But they told my wife and 9yr old son they couldn't check out the vehicle even though they knew she lived so far away. I've worked a lot of jobs and I've been very busy but I believe I could find some time, after close or not, to help a woman and her child get home. This Firestone was the 3rd place I called. The other Firestone on Getmantown Pkwy and Patriot Lane wouldn't help her either, nor would Raliegh Tire Service who closes at 6:00 but it was 5:30 when I called.
