The day of I called ahead to check on some things because I live over an hour away. Do you work on swollen batteries and can it be done same day because I need my phone for authentication for my job and I didn't really want to drive back and forth. I was told yes to both. It takes up to 3 hours and they will work on the battery in any condition. Cool I can live with that. (Also the AI phone agent is terrible, if that is the future then I don't want to live in it) I drive to the place after work and get to the desk and wait a few minutes then a guy starts to work with me. He then proceeds to tell me that they can't repair it today and to come back at 3 tomorrow. That there's nothing they can do today. It's very very frustrating that despite going through the effort on my part to try and ensure that I didn't waste my time it ended up happening anyway. The geek squad dude was professional but lacked any real sense of empathy for my situation after explaining it. And you need to do better training with the people who answer phones to make sure they relay accurate information or collect the right information from customers to give better answers to questions pertaining to repairs. The store itself is pretty small with no frills inside, which was fine. They had to send my watch to another store to get it replaced so it took 3 business days. The cost was around $125. Kind of high for a watch battery but cheaper than a new smart watch. My only complaint is that I took my watch in because of a bad battery so my % battery on drop off was like 10%. When I picked my new battery watch up, it was a 3%... I would have liked to have had them charge it some at least so that I could see that the new battery was replaced. It is kind of like picking up a watch or clock at another store and it isnt wound or set to the right time. But it worked find once i charged it I was glad to do this route vs a new watch.
