And this doesn't happen every visit so no one is hounding you. Miranda is hands down the best technician I've had. She's careful and careful and thorough! She makes sure I look my best before leaving. And she talks me through what I think will be painful- and it isn't because Miranda is so great. This salon is the cleanest I've seen. I was getting waxed at hair or nail salons in a back room on a folding table before finding EWC. The rooms are hygienic and CLEAN. Fresh paper on the wax bed after being wiped down, clean counters and no hair everywhere. If you are going elsewhere- you're doing it wrong. This is where you need to be going

Right off of that as soon as I walked in, there were two other people waiting, and the store was completely silent no music. Reception was probably the worst part of this experience. The girl that handled me seemed somewhat preoccupied and on the phone insisted that I arrive as soon as possible, but I waited another 20 minutes not such a big deal, but it felt really weird standing around with nowhere to sit, and pretend to shop for some of their products to pass the time. My experience was the Brazilian wax was great. My wax technician was very friendly, nice and knowledgeable. I didn't really pay much attention to it at the time, but when I arrived home, I noticed that there were a few missed spots on my inner thigh and other lady parts . Checking out I was offered to purchase a bunch of different options for wax passes for one or three of the services that I just gotten and I felt bad that the receptionist did all of the work out to offer several different kinds of payment plans declined as I always do at EWC - like most people I don't go in for a $60 wax and just casually drop 900 bucks on a year worth of waxes that's some thing that I deliberately purchase and don't need to be asked every single time I get a wax. I wasn't even annoyed and even thanked her for doing the work, but she simply shook her head and checked out. Gotta say that went right up my behind and solidified my never returning to this location and prolly EWC altogether- it was giving me Barnes & Noble vibes where if you don't purchase their unneeded membership, then guilt you into thinking they're going to get fired basically. the quality of the wax they use has kept me coming back here since prior to Covid but I just don't know if it's worth the uncomfortable decline of wax passes every single time.

This experience was one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had. When I went back to the salon to tell them what they did. The Woman I spoke to said she couldn't do anything for me. I was telling her straight up she left my chin with a bunch of cuts and irritated all she can say was oh that she showed me already and that she couldn't do anything for me. First of all, who can see anything in that room. This business is very unprofessional they literally do threading in the dark with small lights on. I couldn't see anything but redness in that room. But when I left the room and was in better lighting I was able to see all the cuts in my chin and jawline. I ask for my money back because I was unsatisfied with the service that I was given. And she refused to give me my money back. She accused me of cutting my own face and making my face red. And she said that I could've been my mask that made my face red in full with cuts. Unbelievable a business that doesn't hold accountability to their mistakes. She's kept saying that she was not responsible for what had happened when I was her client she was in charge of taking care of me during that time and she couldn't help me. When she couldn't help me I asked if I can speak to her manager and she said she was the manager and then I asked if I could speak to somebody higher up than her she wouldn't even give me their number or any kind of contact info. She gave me a flyer to the store number she said it was her bosses number but it wasn't she lied. She was very disrespectful very rude and I am never coming to the salon ever again. Great new med spa for this area!…read more I am so glad to have a med spa local now and HJ is amazing. She is so nice and easy to coordinate for an appointment. She made my first hydra facial easy, painless, and fun. I left feeling great and now have appointments almost every 2 weeks. Hours are limited because she's just getting started, but she is easy to communicate with via email or text. The space is in a shared complex, but very clean and professional. She knows her stuff! Can't wait to go back more often.
