Right off of that as soon as I walked in, there were two other people waiting, and the store was completely silent no music. Reception was probably the worst part of this experience. My experience was the Brazilian wax was great. My wax technician was very friendly, nice and knowledgeable. I didn't really pay much attention to it at the time, but when I arrived home, I noticed that there were a few missed spots on my inner thigh and other lady parts . Checking out I was offered to purchase a bunch of different options for wax passes for one or three of the services that I just gotten and I felt bad that the receptionist did all of the work out to offer several different kinds of payment plans declined as I always do at EWC - like most people I don't go in for a $60 wax and just casually drop 900 bucks on a year worth of waxes that's some thing that I deliberately purchase and don't need to be asked every single time I get a wax. I wasn't even annoyed and even thanked her for doing the work, but she simply shook her head and checked out. When I went to pay, she hovered over me to see how much of a tip I was going to give her, which was uncomfortable and somewhat ridiculous, given the circumstances. I will note that I paid for the service- I didn't want to be accused of leaving without paying for that service. I believe that a business should take responsibility for any damage caused to a customer's belongings while on the premises. During the service, the wrap was repeatedly lifted while the solution was processing, and my brows were trimmed before setting both of which caused poor results. When I raised my concerns, the owner did not take responsibility and instead blamed the outcome on my brows rather than acknowledging the process errors. The handling of the situation felt dismissive and unprofessional. I paid $75 for a service that left my brows looking worse than before, and the way my concerns were brushed off was very frustrating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. In fact I took that to heart so much that Dancing Shears did the hair and makeup for my two wedding ceremonies. (Including traveling out of state for one of them). Elana, the owner, created a package that met my needs and budget. Her and the team went above and beyond on my wedding day and second wedding ceremony. We did a comprehensive trial to make sure that I looked and felt beautiful. She even gave me the best pep talks before both wedding ceremonies to make sure I could get out there.
