I've been wanting to post this review for some time, as I am about 3+ years post op. I came here because Dr. Lakshman claims to be the top surgeon for abdominal work. I've been a fitness instructor my entire life (and still am), so I wasn't ever overweight, and I've never had children. However, menopause started, and created a pouch of belly fat that I was very unhappy with that diet and exercise wouldn't diminish. Dr. Lakshman said, no problem, we'll take that out. My belly skin was very smooth prior to the surgery. Afterward, the lipo left me lumpy and pockmarked, with a puffy spot on the right side that has never gone down (maybe a missed fat pouch?!) and several dents, for lack of a better word, including two horizontal 1 1/2 inch depressions just above my bikini line. My belly fat is gone and looks good in clothing, however, I'm very self-conscious when I'm naked and I can never wear a bikini again. I mentioned this to him post op, and he said I don't know what you're talking about, it looks great! But you can see by the photos that it doesn't look great. (He also said that he can do a tummy tuck on me- really?! I didn't need a tuck before surgery, but now I do to cover up his sloppy work?) Every time I take a shower or dress next to a mirror, I'm upset and angry at how deformed my belly now looks compared to before. Every. Time. I miss my smooth skin, and my ability to wear crop tops at the gym and bikinis by the pool. Just do your due diligence before picking your doctor, because I'm not sure this one really knows what he's doing.

BEWARE!!! If you come here, you will get beyond the results you were expecting. I am just shy one-year post-opp so it is time for a review. Let me first say that whomever you choose to go, please make sure you do your research on the surgeon. If you need to save or spend a little more for a reputable person, do that. This is a procedure you do not want to cheap out on. Having said that, I found Dr. Lakshman on here after going to a consultation in Burbank. I wholly intended to go with them and the only reason I kept looking was because the surgery date was too far out for me. This was a blessing in disguise. When I went to Dr. Lakshman I felt at ease right away. He was thorough and took his time explaining everything. He listened to my concerns and tangents without making me feel rushed. If that isn't enough, he is a HAND surgeon on top of having his cosmetic license. Do you know how much precision and dexterity that takes?? He is a very gifted doctor and definitively the man for the job. From the moment I signed and paid to post surgery I felt taken care of. Alba, Diana, and a little later, Jasmine took care of me. Alba is stellar. She was so on top of text check-ins, making sure my follow-ups were scheduled, and just overall care. Going to follow-ups were the best because the ladies are such a pleasure to be around. We always had some good laughs - Dr. Lakshman included. The only two negative experiences came from external sources unrelated to Dr. Lakshman and his staff. The hospital in which the surgery was scheduled didn't have my folder and gave me the runaround in the facility which made me late to pre-opp. The medical hotel (which is optional) post opp had a nurse there which made my night something out of a sadistic horror movie. When I let Dr. Lakshman know, he was very upset about it and said he'd follow-up about the experience with the facility. (Side note: please make sure you have a consistent person with you at home because it will make your life way easier. Also make sure you have ample PTO so you don't feel rushed during healing.) If I had to do this all over again, I would. Even after putting on a few inches, my results are still exactly what I want. He made a long-time dream come true and he's worth every penny. It even looked like I had a BBL because he lipo'd my lower back. SKILLS! I'd be happy to answer any other questions, so just send me a DM. The point of this post was to let you know you're in good hands here...get it? Hands? I didn't post the best pictures because those were a little too graphic, but I tried to choose some just to show the comparison. Those pix may not do the work justice, but justice was indeed served. Oh, and there is a private paid parking lot, no validation. But if you're considering a surgery like this, paying for parking should be a drop in the bucket.

I would of never wore anything this tight until having this surgery

I had the mini bbl done by Dr Lakshman. For me, the lipo on my stomach was the most important part of the procedure with the butt being the bonus. I am currently almost 13 weeks post op. I had uneven fat in my abdomen/side with one side being larger that i couldn't get rid of after having kids with strict dieting and exercising even being 113lbs at my smallest weight. I was told I would have looseness in my stomach after the lipo at my consultation and again at my pre op appointment but I've had 3 kids so I was expecting that as I already had some but what I wasn't expecting was for the results to look this good. I had realistic expectations going into this procedure with the loose skin being in my mind but my expectations were by far exceeded and the best part is it will continue to get better throughout my healing. To be able to wear a bikini or a tight dress for the first time in 10 years and actually feel amazing in it is life changing for me. I am so happy I came to Dr. Lakshman because I truly am able to feel confident again.

Mini BBL - Medical Gaslighting: I did not want to write this and did everything to work with Dr. Lakshman. I am speaking from an honest perspective and using notes I took over time: SURGERY RESULTS: I got my surgery in November 2022. I got a mini bbl that includes Lipo 360. My BBL results are good, but I do not like my liposuction results, specifically on my back. Now I have a flat tummy but a big back. My rolls are still there and my upper back hangs over the lower part that was Lipo'd more attentively. My main goal was to get my back fat sucked away; my booty was just extra. I traveled for the surgery, so I met Dr. Lankshman for an online consultation, in person for a consultation, and before the surgery date. He told me he would suck the rolls out and Lipo all parts of the back, upper included. I trusted him and went forward with him, spending $5,000. The surgery is performed in the office and awake, which is a newer procedure for them, hence the price. From day one, I did not feel pain or soreness in my upper back like I did everywhere else that he worked on, including my buttocks, 6 months later, I still don't. I mentioned this from the day the nurses removed my bandages, asking them if the rolls would eventually get smaller. The nurses said they would and that it was just swelling. I met with them every few months because they wanted to track the results. I would mention politely that I love my results but was not happy with my back. I remained respectful during our conversations and had no intention to upset Dr. Lankshman because I was seeking help. He would tell me to wait 6 months for results to set in. I trusted the process, though, no changes. I invested even more money in my massages, purchased multiple fajas, and cared for myself. COMMUNICATION EXPERIENCE: Months passed, and my results set in. We met in person and again I told him I wasn't happy with my back. He instantly got so offended and took it personally. He would gaslight me and was condescending as if we didn't have a consultation about what he said he would do. I reminded him of what he said and he shook it off and basically said it doesn't matter anymore. He would interrupt me while I was speaking and was so rude to me with attempts to shut me down, to the point where I cried. He would ask me if I was ever big, which to him, is why I have "loose skin". I've never weighed over 160 lbs. He said I needed a backlift. Why would you accept me for the surgery and tell me you can flatten my rolls if you think I need that? I spoke to other surgeons, my massage lady, and my medical doctor, and they all said it was still a lot of fat in my back. Trying to be rude, he even told me he would have recommended a tummy tuck instead with a slight giggle. It's obvious I don't need a tummy tuck. From that moment, I lost trust. He told me that liposuction isn't as important because in his words, "it is called a BBL, not BBL and Liposuction". No one calls it that because everyone knows you need Lipo to do a BBL. He said I should go and see another surgeon instead and have them fix it. He honestly said a lot more that I did not write down. I don't know if he felt inclined to interact with me this way because I'm a Black woman but that crossed my mind. Knowing that Black women are stereotyped for having attitudes and disrespected by default, often gaslit, and systematically not heard or believed in the medical industry, I approached the situation gracefully and mindfully, but was honest and persistent. Though, I usually feel nervous and anxious speaking up for myself. It is daunting and uncomfortable to tell someone that you do not like something, but I wanted to advocate for myself. Dr. Lankshman often spoke to me in a very micro-aggressive and arrogant tone, which made my experience worse. I probably would not have written this if he handled our interactions more thoughtfully, but this was my last resort. He mentioned that a few others complained about their back lipo results and offered me a revision surgery for $2,500 but still mentioned he could not guarantee the back fat being gone. Why would you have someone pay for work you are not confident you can do? SUMMARY: If you get the mini BBL, know that he does not truly focus on the liposuction aspect, which I feel is just as important, especially if you are already going through the pain and experience of being under the knife. Also, Black bodies are often structured and proportionately different. I do not see much representation on his social sites. Also, know that he is challenging to communicate and work with if you raise concerns. Do not just look at the price tag. Do your research, and do not rush into these sorts of things. I waited to write this review to work it out with the doctor, trying to look past the antics and disrespect to get a revision, but I realized it's not worth going under the knife with someone who showed me they don't respect me.

Dr. Lakshman is definitely the surgeon you want to work with for any cosmetics. I personally had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Lakshman, and all I can say is from the beginning to now, it has been nothing but a great experience! My sister and I both went through Lotus Research Clinic and we also had Dr Lakshman for our abdominal plasty We were very pleased , and when I decided to get liposuction of course I went to Dr Lakshman he did a superior job now I have the tummy I wanted nice and flat . On my last post op appointment I had a consultation for a breast lift and reduction I had been carrying DD heavy breast and it was just too much I am 56 and 119 5'4 I just had surgery Sept 22, 2017 and I had my post op today the unveiling was magical & I have to say very minimal pain, in fact I'm going back to work tomorrow (office job) I want to thank Dr Lakshman for his artistic ability to transform my huge heavy breast to now I feel like and look like 25 year old I'm so excited for what life has in store for me. I cannot recommend Dr. Lakshman or his staff enough for anyone who is considering any form of cosmetic surgery. When I went in for a consultation they made me feel at ease and were very professional and kind in how they talked me through my concerns and various options, all the while, never pressuring me for any kind of decision or trying to persuade any of my choices. I left feeling very informed and able to make the decision that was best for me. All through the process I felt heard and understood and they were always there to help answer the most basic of questions just to make sure I was comfortable. Alba and Diana are an absolute delight to talk to and extremely professional. Dr. Lakshman and his office staff are so great. The ladies are very polite and easy going. I've gotten a mini tummy tuck done about 2 weeks ago and was really nervous about it. But through the process Dr. Lakshman has been very knowledgeable in everything I worried about before. 2 weeks out and my drains are out and I couldn't feel any better. I am very excited to see the results in a few months. I'm upset I didn't take a before picture to compare it to but I'm for sure seeing results. I've had two children and after my son my lower abdomen has so much loose skin and I had a mini pouch. I'm excited to know my pouch is gone . Dr.Lakshman and his team are AMAZING. They have made me feel comfortable and confident throughout my whole surgery process! Honestly I looked at MANY different surgeons and found his work to be the MOST professional and the most that is involved and cares. I was very nervous throughout this process and especially on my surgery date but Dr.Lakshman reassured me everything was going to be perfect and IT DID GO PERFECTLY! It has only been 6 weeks and my boobs feel soft and very look natural! He did an amazing job with the scar as well because it is rarely noticeable! And again it has ONLY been 6 weeks! Dr. Lakshman and his team (Diana, Alba, Jasmine) are simply so amazing. I went to four different surgeons and consultations but Dr. Lakshman's was the only one where my concerns were thoroughly heard, the procedure carefully explained, and suggestions advised to give me the best recovery and best results. Consequently, I'm beyond, over the moon with how well my full tummy tuck & lipo procedure went. I had horrendous pain in my wrist every day and was misdiagnosed by another doctor. Dr. Lakshman took one look at my wrist and knew exactly what the problem was. I got my basic medical tests done at a place he referred me to, and two days later he did my surgery. What a relief! His office staff is kind and helpful, too. This was my first time ever getting anything cosmetic done and let me tell you I'm already hooked and extremely happy with my resluts! I went in for a little bit of Botox and Juvederm for wrinkles that were bothering me around my smile line and well what a difference! Dr Lakshman really took his time to explain what my results would be and while he was performing the procedure. He used his professional opinion on how much I should get injected and where. I went through Lotus Research Clinic as a subject for the mini-abdominoplasty (Mini Tummy Tuck) study. I was fortunate to get Dr. Shankar for my procedure on September 21, 2016. I am completely amazed with the after care and the appearance of my surgery site. My incision is minimal it is still in the healing process but appears very good. I was so happy with the professionalism from Dr. Shankar the and office staff. I decide on another minor procedure. I have researched a mole removal on my left eyelid before but I backed out, the receptionist was very unprofessional. It is very sensitive site area. Dr. Shankar was very professional and gentle. I did not feel a thing. I will get my stitches taken out next week. Stay tuned!!. I will follow up, as to how it turned out. also it was very inexpensive. read more

Dr. Shankar Lakshman is amazing! I had a mini tummy tuck, (due to having my son many years ago and also, getting down to size 3 and less due to my cycling)...and I'm healing up very quickly). He's top notch! I can't believe how much better I feel and look minus the loose skin! I work out a lot so it was very annoying not to see my abs do to some loose skin there. I felt cheated of my efforts and the more fit I got the worse the loose skin on my abs showed....but now it's gone for good and I feel like a zillion bucks. Dr. Lakshman is a true pro. Very nice and when he saw me he knew exactly what I needed to get back to my sexiest self again. I feel amazing!!! I can't wait for summer to show off my yummy tummy! Happy happy happy! read more

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Lakshman on a couple occasions. He is a very caring, easy-going and friendly doctor who makes you feel comfortable. He answers any concerns you may have. He is very knowledgeable and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!! He seems to have a sincere concern for all of his patients no matter what he is treating them for. Mixed feelings still. Not very respectful of patients time. Waited one hour for appt, if I had known he was going to be late I would not have left work early. Had a surgery scheduled for Thursday at 1:30. He walks in the room at 1:30 fully dressed and canceled the surgery. Was rescheduled for the next morning but I lost two days of work and graduate school study. read more

I want to start out by giving a HUGE thank you to Dr. Shankar Lakshman and his staff. Not only did he give me an amazing and natural breast augmentation, but he also gave me an amazing experience leading up to my 2 month post op appointment. From the day I met him for my consultation, to the day of surgery and now my follow up appointments Dr. Lakshman has made me feel so comfortable and confident in his work ethic. I'll never forget when he asked me if I had any song request before I went under for surgery. And of course me being in love with Green Day, I requested them and he put on Boulevard of Broken Dreams! Dr. Lakshman and his team are amazing. Alba is always so friendly from the moment you walk into the office. Two different times Ive had a problem with getting my medication from the pharmacy and Alba personally called them for me not to mention after hours and made sure everything was taken care of. She always goes above what's expected. Dr lakshman really knows how to make you feel so comfortable no matter how naked you are lol. His work always comes out looking great. Hands down best decision I've ever made before making my decision with dr Lakshman I saw 5 previous surgeons no one caught my eye the way Dr. Lakshman did I made my research but I just had this feeling in me that this was my dr so I did got a breast augmentation went from A to a C recovery was fast no pain you just feel sore now my results are amazing I feel more confident I can wear open shirts, no more wearing padded bras he knew exactly what I wanted natural look nothing too exaggerated he's the best decision I've ever made and the staff are AMAZING the girls were soooooo helpful very nice did not make me feel embarrassed (the way other practices did). For those of you who think carpal tunnel surgery doesn't work I'm here to tell you that you're wrong. I was diagnosed with a mild case of it back in 2003 and over the years it progressed to unbearable pain, numbness and tingling to the point I would drop my pen when writing. As a cellist I can tell you that dropping the bow when playing or practicing is not a good thing. After meeting with Dr. Lakshman, we arranged to have my surgery in September 2015. Immediately after the surgery all the pain and other symptoms were completely gone and I haven't had any further problems. This surgery was a game changer and has completely changed my daily life in such a positive way. Thank you Dr. Lakshman for giving me my life back..I am forever grateful for your tremendous skill!! Also I would like to mention that the staff at your office are so professional and friendly...very refreshing in a time when customer service seems to be lacking else where. I genuinely love Alba and Dr Laksham!! I have been a loyal customer for the past two years. I started coming to Dr Laksham for Botox and Fillers, and I am not lying when I say HE IS THE BEST at what he does !! His work is truly perfection. I am a mother of two little ones. We were referred to Dr. Lakshman by our pediatrician because my daughter broke her arm. We needed this to be handled in a timely manner and Dr. Lakshman was available and attentive. My daughter was a little scarred but the doctor was warm and funny! This eased the tension considerably. Also, something to note is that he has a good relationship with his staff and they seem to love him. This, to me, is an indication of character. My son was able to get an appointment with his office within a day after being released from the hospital. He assessed the break and said he could perform surgery (mainly moving the nose back into piace) and then applying a "cast" for a week. He did that and removed the cast today. Although it's still tender, my "nose job" is done and together with nose exercises five times a day hope it stays this way, I'm good to go. No more trips/falls for me. I sat there thinking - these are the people that would be responsible for my pre-op care, my surgery, my aftercare, and any complications that may arise during or after my procedure. And they cannot get the most basic function of the operation right. Ultimately, the consultation fee was a small price to avoid a five-figure mistake. Maybe it's ok for filler and Botox. If like me you are making a permanent decision about your body, beware. I won't undergo a scalpel on an assembly line. Hard pass.

I briefly met Dr. Dan Yamini who spent about 15 minutes with me regarding my procedures. He recommended Lipo360 and fat transfer to buttocks and breasts. I was charged a total of $27,180. I received constant requests to pay the total amount as soon as possible so by the time my surgery date arrived, i had provided the full payment. On the day of surgery i was required to provide a urine test. The test came back positive for substances that i had initially attempted to notify the clinic of. I was ignored, not taken serious and instead prescribed xanax to calm my nerves. This was done without ever speaking to a doctor. Due to the results, they decided to cancel my surgery, never providing me with a future rescheduled date or any alternative procedures. Instead they politely escorted me out and promised someone would be in touch with me to return my payment. This never happened. Since July 29 2026 i have attempted to contact Marina's staff and they all have either ignored me, sending me to voicemail directly, or have given me wrong information to mislead me and keep me from pursuing what is rightfully mine. I would not recommend these people as they do not run a business as professionals and instead overcharge and steal from ppl who trusted them. I have attempted to resolve this issue with them and am now in the process of escalating this as they are literal thieves!!

In 2007 I was on a Zoom call and noticed I had eye bags. I knew they had grown over time but it…read morewasn't until I saw myself on camera when they really stood out. Since then I was very self-conscious about them because they looked awful. I tried creams, tea bags, cold water compresses, etc. and nothing worked so I made a goal to have lower blepharoplasty done before the end of this year. Around August 2025, I was referred to a plastic surgeon by a friend. The doctor was reluctant to perform surgery on me for a couple of different reasons which I won't go into great detail. So without knowing anyone else, I found Dr. Wang and another Asian doctor via the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Since I am Asian, I was specifically looking for Asian doctors who had experience with this surgery on Asian males. I looked at his website, searched for any medical malpractice cases, lawsuits, was he board certified, etc. then scheduled an initial visit. Including Dr. Wang, I purposely visited with three doctor's for this surgery. During the visit with Dr. Wang, I asked about his facilities, the pre-op and post-op steps, aftercare support and follow-ups, shared with him my concerns (stemming from the visit with the first doctor), and a variety of additional questions. In fact, before the actual surgery date, I had two additional visits with him to talk over the initial concerns I had. Incidentally, there was no charge for these visits. Dr. Wang spent plenty of time with me during all three pre-op meetings and saw me pretty quickly meaning, once I stepped into the office for my appointment, I was seen by him in less than fifteen minutes. The surgery went smoothly and I'm very happy with the outcome. I've had four follow-up visits with him with a fifth one scheduled for February 2027. The office staff is terrific and helpful, especially Michelle Y. The facility is very nice, there's plenty of parking, and overall, a positive experience.

Dr. Shankar Lakshman saved me from being handicapped and from constant pain on my left wrist/hand. Here's my story, On 11/26/2016 I fell & broke my left wrist, on 11/29/2016 I met with a hand specialist through my insurance, she said I had to have surgery immediately due to both wrist bones were broken, one bone had splintered. I had surgery the next day (11/30/2016) to repair both bones on my left wrist. After the surgery the surgeon came to see me, she said everything thing went well. The next time I saw my surgeon was 2 weeks later, she looked at my wrist and said I was doing fine and put me in a removable splint & told me to get into Hand Therapy as soon as possible. Three weeks after that I went to see the surgeon again and she said I was doing great even though I was in pain and said to continue my hand therapy. Shortly after the appointment, my hand therapist wanted me to go back to the surgeon to see why my range of motion was frozen, painful & swollen, she suggested an x-ray. Late January 2017 I went back to see my surgeon, requesting x-rays to see where the problem was. She took 1 x-ray and told me everything was great and was healing beautifully, she said that I would always be swollen and that I will never be the same, I never saw the x-ray and took her word for it because I trusted her. This is when I had my first series of Cortizone shots for pain, swelling and lack of movement, Januray 2017 through October 2017 I had 9+ (I lost count) Cortisone injections, October was my last visit with this surgeon, I was seen for about 5-10 minutes each time at this point, it was "oh here she is, let's give her an injection and send her on her way" I didn't feel like I was taken seriously and was being dismissed. Due to all of the injections, I was experiencing continued bruising, red blotching, thinning of the skin, and was constanting bleeding at and around the injection sight, also had an adverse reaction in my knee tearing the Polaris muscle, which is rare. After I recovered from the torn muscle, in January I requested a referral from my insurance company for another surgeon to look at my wrist, I truly thought my Plate & Screws were preventing my range of motion & constant pain. My wrist had regressed, I started to lose all strength and motion, which caused me to drop everything I held in my left hand. On March 22, 2018, my life changed forever. I saw a new surgeon, Dr. Shankar Lakshman, he looked at my one and only after surgery x-ray I had from January 2017, I was shocked to learn of a broken ligament that wasn't addressed during the original surgery & my wrist was collapsing onto itself, the bones were rubbing against each other and arthritis started to set in from the Cortisone shots. It took Dr. Lakshman 2 minutes to see the broken ligament, he showed me the x-ray and pointed out where the ligament had been severed. Dr. Lakshman took several more x-ray's that day and determined that I needed surgery to repair the wrist and ligament. Dr. Lakshman performed a full reconstruction of my left wrist and reconnected my ligament on May 11, 2018. Dr. Lakshman, his assistant and the anesthesiologist all came in to see me before surgery to go over everything that was going to happen, I knew I was in good hands & everything was going to be ok. Dr. Lakshman's assistant came and saw me afterwards to let me know everything went well, such a relief. My surgery was several hours long, and was actually 2 surgeries. One to reconstruct my wrist, removing the oversized plate and screws, rebreaking my wrist, installing appropriate sized plate and screws, and then flipping my wrist over and reinstalling my ligament with a bone anchor with pins to stabilize it. Each post surgery appointment, Dr. Lakshman took several x-rays to make sure everything was healing properly. Dr. Lakshman has been so understanding & kind, I felt like he genuinely cared for my health & well being. Dr. Lakshman has always been upfront with me on my recovery which I appreciate so much, he took the time to explain everything to me. Due to all the trama, my recovery is going to take a while. I have been in Hand Therapy for 5 months now and I am progressing beautifully. I am very strong on my left hand and wrist and that I'm pain free with no cortisone shots! Today, I can now hold my new granddaughter confidently without hesitation, knowing I am strong and whole again. Upon Dr. Lakshman entering the room a calming aroma entered with him. I smelled nothing but confidence and given that I have always dreamed of fine tuning post having 5 kids and shy of 40 I want to go to the best for a mommy makeover. This man has the best bedside manner and I am a nurse so I can spot an A.hole MD by introduction from experience of working with the best of the best and the worst known to mankind. I cannot express with words of how professional and attentive his entire staff have been. I am scheduled and ready to go so I will post an after message. I came to Dr. Lakshman 2 months ago for a breast augmentation consultation. I had done a lot of research before going to him and even saw a few other physicians before him. I learned there are non-surgeons and non-plastic surgeons calling themselves plastic surgeons in town and I have written reviews about them because I find that so scary. Dr. Lakshman is a board-certified plastic surgeon with years of training and experience. His office staff were friendly and welcoming. He spent a whole hour going over the procedure and answering all my questions. His price is reasonable and less than the Beverly Hills cosmetic docs. It has now been 6 weeks since the surgery and I couldn't be happier! I have a natural look and had no complications. Dr. Lakshman personally took care of me from the initial consultation through every post-op visit. He has a wonderful bedside manner and makes the whole experience comfortable for me. I also had Botox injected in my forehead and crows feet and I look 10 years younger! All injectables at his office are performed by board-certified physicians, not nurses which I really liked. I had a wonderful experience at Pasadena Surgeons. I had been wanting to get a mini BBL for a very long time and was particular about what I wanted. Dr.Lakshman was so good at listening and delivering exactly what I wanted! Alba was amazing at coordinating and there was absolutely no fears since they were all spot on about what to expect. In fact, I would say they almost cautioned more than necessary, which was truly appreciated on my end so I knew I was in good hands regardless of if any adverse reactions occurred. Dr. Lakshman is the BEST!!!!!! I'm overly impressed/very pleased with my results (breast augmentation). From the moment of our first meeting instantly I felt very comfortable with Dr.Lakshman. My results are soooooo amazing my confidence has shot through the roof because of it. They're the perfect size for me and they look very natural and that's what is so pleasing about my results. I was recommended by one of my previous co-workers to Dr. Lakshman, initially, I knew he was going to be my surgeon for my breast augmentation, because he took his time to explain and answer all my questions and concerns about all the risks, size, consistency, lon-term care, etc. This is where many doctors and surgeons fail, they don't take the time to explain and ease you into this life changing transition. All the staff was very helpful and time efficient since I wanted to do the surgery pretty fast. I absolutely love my twins, can't go wrong with anything you choose to do if you choose to do it in the right hands. Im very thankful for the team's compassion and care. Dr. Lakshman performed my carpal tunnel surgery back in December of 2016. I put off surgery out of fear for 8+ years. So afraid of having a poor result on my right hand. But I was to the point that I could barely write and could not cut my food due to shooting nerve pain in my hand. My hand was numb 90% of the time. Doctor performed my surgery on a Friday and I was back at work by Tuesday. The worst part was dealing with the bandages for a couple weeks. Within a day of the surgery I had feeling back in my thumb and a few days later feeling was back in my fingers. It is now May, and my hand is perfect! On June 4, 2016, Dr. Shankar Lakshman of Pasadena Surgeons performed hand surgery to relieve my osteoarthritis pain and weakness on my right thumb joint. The procedure called Arthroplasty was successful in relieving pain and after much research of alternate procedures, I felt this was less invasive and recovery was quicker. I have been to Dr. Lakshman on four different occasions for botox and each service gets better and better. He always takes pictures of the initial markings and refers to them before he even steps in the room on your next visit, then we do our consultation. His staff is so friendly and they are all quick to put me at ease. Its always as comfortable and painless as possible!!! :) honestly I'm in my mid twenties and am doing it for preventive reasons, however i have kept going because it has totally helped with my headaches! i have difficulty relaxing my forehead muscles and the botox basically cures it. couldn't be happier about it really! read more

Move over Dr. 90210,Dr.Lakshman has the "Hands of God."His precision to my mini tummy tuck in June,2016 was so amazing I felt no pain. The only feeling I had was one of a bandaid being pulled off . I am very active and after two sets of twins ,and a son and daughter I barely looked pregnant anyway. Nonetheless O I am still in the healing stages but the tuck looks amazing. I recently went in for my 2nd surgery. 1 yr apart. Post op 3 days and I am at aww with my mini lipo results so far. I had both procedures completed in the office under oral sedation and I wouldn't have it any other way. I wouldn't trust my body or my life with any other surgeon. I have visited Dr. Lakshman 3 times now for Botox. I absolutely recommend him. He is very quick to put you at ease about the procedure while explaining in detail what he is going to do.
