Very chill spot and I'm surprised I haven't tried this out before. They share a parking lot with First Watch so there were lots of cars. There were only about three patrons in the coffee shop though. I loved the music they were playing. I can't think of another word for this place but serene. I had to get my coffee and breakfast to go, but I would love to hang out here. The spinach breakfast burrito was amazing. Full of eggs and greens with a garlic pesto taste. I would order it again for sure. My latte was delicious. read more

I'm going to be brutally honest--despite the coffee shop's beautiful aesthetic with its warm wood tones and dark hues, the coffee was a major letdown. I ordered an iced dirty chai latte, and it was one of the worst I've had--completely overpowered by cinnamon with zero coffee flavor. My fiancé got a basic drip coffee, and unfortunately, it tasted like "dirt water." He ended up tossing it. I tried to give mine a fair shot, but couldn't make it halfway through. The service was okay--nothing to write home about. And since the place was echo-y we couldn't hear our order being called. Given the glowing reviews, I was hopeful this place had potential, but our experience just didn't live up to the hype. Not sure if we caught them on an off day, but it was disappointing. read more

I decided to go do some studying today and I figured the coffee shop would be the best option to go with. I drove down the street and pulled right in to a busy parking lot ans made my way in to Parea for the first time. I'm simple when it comes to coffee shops so I ordered an Iced Tea of course and got about an hour. It does get pretty noisy compared to some other spots but if you need to handle your business and be on the way this place is perfect for it. I liked the vibe inside and I feel like it's even better when the sun goes down and the mood lighting inside is on display. It's worth the visit! read more

This coffee shop is right across the street from the TCC southeast campus, so I stopped in for a morning coffee. I got a specialty latte made into a breve. I paid $1 more for a Christmas sugar cookie. It was $9 total. Service was quick and the baristas were very nice. The inside is beautiful! There's a whole library seating section. The vibe is definitely better than the coffee. It's just a very average coffee shop that uses Topeka. You pay for the ambiance for sure. They have a drive thru, but I'm glad I went in because it's very cozy cute. read more

Parea is an open, warm, vibrant place to sit and work or read. It is frequently crowded, but this is the price of success. I brought out-of-town friends here who were absolutely thrilled that ceremonial matcha was on the menu. Drive-through is super convenient between services at Asbury Church, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend, but if you're planning to meet someone there, be prepared to go elsewhere with your coffee when every seat is taken! read more

Such a lovely new coffee shop in south Tulsa! The atmosphere is able to appeal to both folks who enjoy minimalism as well as those who want more of a cozy feel. I love that they're baked goods are all locally sourced from great bakery spots around town. The coffee beans are also local, shout out to Toeca! And I honestly think that this brand is the best local roaster in town. My friend got a sausage roll and said it was super good. I got a gluten-free peanut butter and jelly cookie, and it was superb! It's hard to make a good gluten-free cookie, but the bakery they got it from, I want to say it was from Antoinette is killing it. The people working here move quickly and are friendly. Been here a few times and have only ever received mediocre coffee. Cute interior but I wouldn't seek this place out for just coffee.

They have quality matcha! My wife is really particular about her matcha and we're visiting from Cali where there's an abundance of great matcha. Lo and behold! This place did not disappoint. We see you Oklahoma! *snaps And the ambiance was such a vibe. It's the deep green walls for me, and the aesthetic really encourages studying or just enjoying your drink. I walked in and was stunned at how gorgeous the aesthetic was here! The coffee shop is open and beautiful with lots of comfortable seating and electrical outlets. They had a gorgeous library area with sofa seating that was themed for the holiday season and then a long, beautiful wooden table that was great for getting work done at. They also had some typical table seating and a high top bar. It was later in the day but was craving a coffee and they recommended the decaf Americano, which was an excellent recommendation! It was incredibly smooth and just the right amount of creamy/smoky in flavor (Note: I don't add cream or sugar to my coffee, just mentioning how it naturally creamy it was!) The coffee/drinks are okay, I usually order between 2 things, and for some reason they make it different every time. The blonde that runs the drive thru is pretty rude. Inside is nice, it would be a good study place, but I feel like most of the staff is just short and not personable with anyone. I've stopped getting my coffee here because it never tastes the same, sometimes it is not good at all, and because of the attitudes I see at 7 in the morning. Walked here from our hotel and honestly surprised to find somewhere this nice and tasty in Tulsa. The strawberry banana smoothie was delicious and my toddler loved it. Though romantic and chic, the non-coffee drinks and food were lackluster. On Saturday morning, the cafe teemed with customers making small talk or studying. The sophisticated, dim lights and earthy atmosphere draw you into a collaborative space. My friend and I opted for a matcha latte and London fog latte-all with oat milk. With our drinks, we chose breakfast burritos as a light breakfast. Sadly, the tea flavor for both our drinks weren't strong enough. For myself, I enjoy matcha's grassy, vegetal but mellow notes. However, it felt more like a milk latte, which was a similar case for the London fog. For the breakfast burrito, the over-toasted burrito was dry and chalky, especially in the filling. The espresso in the latte was extremely acidic and strong, so if that's what you like then this would be the place for you. My sausage roll was very yummy though!
