Louis from Party Pronto is the best. Our close friends in Long Beach referred us to these guys because they have the 'real-deal' bouncers and supplies (patented characters). We wanted a Hello Kitty bouncer for our daughter's 5 birthday party which was Hello Kitty themed. The bouncer arrived and was setup within minutes and it just looked awesome! Kids had a blast and my daughter and I had an even better time bouncing at night after the guests had gone! On the day of the party, the truck carrying our bouncer ran into some problems which delayed our unit by a little while. They went above and beyond to send another driver out to pick it up and deliver it to us all the way in Long Beach, over 35 miles away! Louis went above and beyond to rectify the delay and make it very worth our while to do business with them again in the future! They arrived ON TIME on both occasions and called to confirm before each delivery. Luis was very appreciative and very friendly on every phone call. I'm honestly very impressed. Un-friendly service. We inquired about service for an event we are throwing for a non-profit next week. We were assured that a purchase order would confirm our order. When I called, I was treated like a new order, despite the fact that I gave them my quote number. I gave most of the information twice, as it seemed the person on the phone wasn't really paying attention. Then they asked to be paid in full in advance. As a corporation, I cannot pay services in advance of receiving them, and I explained that to both people on the phone(yes, the person on the phone couldn't be bothered with me, so transferred me to his supervisor- note to small business people: we hate that!). I also asked why they would agree to take a purchase order (which is, in itself, a legally binding contract) and then ask for a credit card payment? They seemed very disinterested in hearing about why I was reluctant to pay in advance, but decided they would not want to do business with a multi-billion dollar company that is traded on the NYSE! I really don't understand, but instead of working with me, we end up with a very negative YELP review. Sorry guys, maybe a business course would help you understand contract law and help you make the $408.00 you missed out on today. In Contrast, I called Jolly Bouncers and they understood right away! I have rented from Party Pronto two times now and have been very happy both times. We used them for some tables and chairs for both a birthday party and an engagement party. They delivered everything on time and picked it up the next morning. The customer service was great every time I called to add or edit our reservation. We arrived and an older lady provided assistance. She didn't have much helium so I was only able to purchase 1 dozen balloons (hmm.. A party supply store has little to no helium- that's odd) she wasn't the friendliest and I was taken aback how she treated a new customer walking in. Huffing and puffing about having to help someone out. Purchased a small stuffed beanie baby that seemed a bit over priced. I've used this company for rental a few times within that last 3 years, my first experience was good however I can't say the same for my second experience. I recently ordered chairs , tables and an ice cream machine for my daughters 5th birthday to allow the kids to have the luxury experience of an all you can eat ice cream bar, to my surprise the machine was malfunctioning intermittently which put a damper on the experience ( the ice cream would get stuck and wouldn't flow out when you pulled the lever) because we had to open it and spoon the ice cream out ( I could have bought gallons of ice cream And served it in a bowl for cheaper if I wanted that experience). I called into the office the following day when the delivery team came to pick up the equipment and their customer service was horrible. I was transferred 3 times and asked why I didn't call the of the party ( well nobody has time to troubleshoot when they are busy entertaining their guests). Instead of them apologizing for the inconvenience I was told that they needed to prove my statement to be a fact. It's not what you say it's how you say it, and at that moment it was said in a manner as though I was being called a liar about the machine not working. Their customer service sucks and I will never do business with them again. $200 spent on an ice cream machine rental and I had to manually serve the ice cream with a spoon. read more

Possibly the worst service ever! Stefanie at party Pronto called to tell me that I owed her an additional $300 for rental of table cloths for my mothers funeral reception. She called to say that there was something like pizza sauce that was eatehat and it would probably stain the table cloths. I asked her why I was given a paid in full receipt when I delivered the table class. She said that she had not looked at them and that the pizza sauce which was actually lasagna and pasta would not come off. I told her we should probably be having this conversation before the table laths were rented and after they were cleaned! There were no instructions given or restrictions on any type of food. I told her that if someone rents table cloths, you would assume that you could eat on top of them and we had over size 12 1/2 inch oval plates on top of placemats. I also received one damaged tablecloth that we had to cover with a vase and I did not go and ask her for the $13.80 rental fee for a damaged tablecloth. I would never use party Ponto again and will not be paying $300 for table cloths that you would assume you could eat on top of. With a lot of funeral expenses $500 to rent table cloths is ridiculous. I reviewed my contract and there is nothing regarding any type of food that you are restricted to eat. She also help me take them to my car and you that they were for a funeral reception. She also had the opportunity to tell me what we could eat or not eat when they were put into my truck everyone, I have spoken to others from different vendors and they have shared the fact that there is no liability on my part and that they need to give instructions about tablecloth use. Why in the world would anybody rent table class in the future if you cannot eat on top of them. Stay far away from Party Pronto!! They should call themselves Party Poopers!! read more

I bought mylar balloons online and had Party Pronto blow them up. We asked them how much on the phone and they said $.69 to blow them up. However, when we got there they said it was $2.50 for each one. BTW, is much more than we payed for the balloon itself. Since we were in a hurry and already there, we had no choice. However, the reason I am writing is not even about the price but mainly because when we got back home with the balloons, 15 out of 24 of them were already deflated. Geez... can you believe that??? Mylar balloons last for days and most of them were coming down already. The kids were playing with the balloons and it wasn't even floating anymore. This morning the balloons were already on the floor. THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE PLACE WITH BAD SERVICE!! Shouldn't they know how to blow up balloons if they are a party supplier?? Don't come here if you want to blow up your balloons or buy balloons!!!! Actually, I don't even know if I can trust them with anything else because they couldn't even do something that was so simple. read more

We needed a bouncer for my daughter's birthday party at the park and we really wanted to use Party pronto but we were quoted $237 for just a bouncer!!! They added $89 for a generator and all sorts of extra fees. Its too bad that they are so pricey....we ended up finding one for $125 including the rental of generator, much more reasonable. Great Rental Company! I have used them for many large (400 + people) Hillsides events. Everyone is very easy to work with and accommodating. They work with so many venues in San Gabriel Valley that it cuts out a lot of time getting extra permits. They have a huge inventory of items. Luis is a dream to work with and always helps in any way he can. For one of my events I needed 3 extra tables and he sent his guys back to his warehouse to get them so our event could start on time.
