But I decided to give the Sugar Factory a second chance with two friends. This time I was happy to see the many new added menu items. My eyes immediately went to the pastrami sandwich with seasoned fries. We had such good service from start to finish. Our waitress Sevinc was very attentive to our needs and checked on us often. Our food arrived to the table hot and delicious. It was the real deal in pastrami not that processed meat. It was really good quality meat. I was extremely please with my meal. The manager came out to our table to greet us and thank us for coming to the Sugar Factory. He even personally brought out the forgotten pickles with our meal. Real nice touch on his part. I can tell he's a type of manager not afraid to roll up his sleeves and jump in where needed. Kudos to manager Outten on that. I had the skillet brownie Sundae for dessert. It was so delicious. I just was so stuffed I couldn't finish all. My eyes was bigger than my stomach at the time. I had such a terrific Thursday at the Sugar Factory I couldn't stop cheesing all night. I was so happy that I gave the Sugar Factory a second chance. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. I highly recommend going to the Sugar Factory for night of dining and fun. My girlfriends and I used to go to the San Diego and Las Vegas locations for brunch all the time back in the day. Sadly, this is one of the last sugar factories standing The food is a little tourist trap- ish. But, I'm not complaining. It's a whole experience. The service is usually where I have an issue. It's very hit or miss. We will have a great server, or a bad one. No in between lol. The server I had last week was great. All the servers that weren't even working my table kept walking by checking on me. The drinks is where this place shines. They have the huge bowls that come out with dry ice that are good for 2 people. The martinis? Chefs kiss. They do have a separate bar outside of the restaurant on the casino floor Also, it's the SUGAR factory. If you don't like sweet drinks, this place probably isn't for you. Myself? The sweeter the better! The milkshakes are delicious and some you can upgrade with being spiked with alcohol I usually come here for a few drinks after a big win since it's inside a casino (the drink menu is extremely large) I ordered the- mint chocolate martini $17 The famous pairing of mint and chocolate is elevated to a tasty new level making this mixture a favorite among chocolate connoisseurs. Delicious Raspberry sin $17 This sinful treat will tease your taste buds. It's made with juicy red raspberries and white chocolate with a fluffy white cloud floating on top. I'm usually not a fan of raspberry, but this was delicious And the- Coconut cream pie $17 A perfect blend of creamy coconut with a distinct hint of caramel topped with light and fluffy whipped cream and toasted coconut flakes. The first part of the store has produce such as different types of Asian sweet potato, various citrus fruits and onions/cabbages. The back of the store has a refrigerated and frozen section with lots of different ethnic herbs, vegetables, and frozen goods. There is kimchi, tofu, and bean paste in the back. The remainder of the store consists of dry goods, such as sauces, oils, paste, seasonings, noodles, teas, and rices. There are also sweet and savory Asian snacks and a small selection of housewares and cleaning supplies. Service is very good and the owner really seems to care about her stock. There is a small book when you are leaving the store to write down suggestions or things that you would like the store to carry.
