Large selection and variety of bigger quanties of fruits, vegetables, poinesettas, and fresh Christmas tree branches , and a section for restaurants for wholesale purchases. I've been passing this store for a few months and finally decided to go in . I bought mint for $2.50 (that was the amount displayed) the receipt reflected $3.50 I ask for my dollar back and they tell me it's supposed to be $3.50 after speaking with a manager. This happened so many times here I can't count..If I didn't feel so sick I would've made a HUGE deal. I'm tired of them making up prices as they go. Everything is fresh cucumber garlic carrots the biggest I ever seen I just love shopping here when I come to Delaware.

I bought about $40 worth of vegetables and flowers. The prices were great and it gave me my Saturday farmers market feeling , fresh seasonal produce and the beauty of all the fresh flowers. I got two large bouquets of chrysanthemum flowers at $2.50 each, purple orchid for $9.00, and a dozen roses for $6.00! Cucumbers were $.50 a piece! I didn't realize, but there are 19 different Produce Junctions in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. This Produce Junction has been in Dover for about three years. Definitely worth the trip to buy fruits, vegetables, flowers, eggs and baguette. The baguette bread is brought from a bakery in Jersey every morning. I was there at 8 am and it was not crowded. Some items you have to ask for ,like the shallots, behind the register, which if it was busy ,you would need to know what items are behind the register, that you are going to have to ask for. Also what's up paying separately for fruits and vegetables? There's a "veggie line" and "fruit line"...Thankfully I only had vegetables and only had to go to the "veggie line". Did I say super clean and well organized. They take credit cards with the exception of American Express. Update: I spoke with a girl regarding the separate lines for paying for Veggies and fruits and she advised they haven't taken the signs down yet, but you can now pay for both veggie and fruit in one check out line. The reason the lines were separate was because of the different vendors. (whatever that means) read more

Produce Junction is my absolute go-to for all of my family's fruits and vegetables, including the ones we grow ourselves. I don't know how they do this. I have no idea how they se,l such good quality produce at such affordable prices. I also don't know how they keep the prices so clearly in mind as they are tallying my bill, but I'm always happy with the price they announce, so I don't ask questions! I work in a store that shares the bustling parking lot with produce Junction. We watch the parade of customers come and go along with the constant stream of trucks delivering the freshest veggies. The setup inside is simple- long tables with an amazing variety all bagged and ready to go. Small carts are available and they will be happy to sell you a bag or hand you a box to help you as you buy more than you'd meant to bring home. Not only do they have thwart you need for dinner tonight, they also have one of the best selections of flowers in town. Cut flowers are really available and potted plants ring the store. When the growing season is underway they open a second section of the building so that people can browse without piling up. When this happens the nursery has its own dedicated register as well. It's a very well designed system! Thanks to Produce Junction I have almost no need to shop in the produce section of my local grocery store. I'd much rather pay less for better quality, wouldn't you? read more

It's nice to have a variety of vegetables & fruits, but lot of things I have gotten here, on most occasions , are molded and rotten within a day or two, including red pepper, peaches, and especially the berries. read more

If I could put in two sets of ratings I would. The prices are amazing. Of course it is clean. The flowers are stellar for just a few dollars. A dozen roses for 3.00, mums for 2.00, orchids, beautiful mixed flowers for 4.00. So five stars for that. Now the person that designed the layout had to be either drunk or blind. It just makes no sense. You have to pay for your fruit in one line, veggies in another and plants in another. Really? Why?? 1 star for layout. Veggies are in the middle, on the side, and then they keep I guess the best ones behind the cashiers. So you are forced to make quick decisions because there are 50 people in line behind you. Same thing with the fruits. Lots behind the cashiers. Why? Again no idea. All cash, no receipts, no cash registers. Maybe that is why it's cheap? Again I have no idea. I and many others found it odd and frustrating. I had to stand in line three times. 1 star for not thinking about the customer and their time. 4 stars because dover needed this, and will be the first thing that can survive in that spot. read more

This place is a mad house, always busy. They sell local fresh produce and flowers. Everything is really cheap and fresh. Fruits are always sweet. Semi-bulk sizes. Plants and flowers are stellar, and only for a few bucks. It can be a bit confusing the first time you go, but this is how it works. There are three different checkout lines, one for fruits, one for vegetables and one for plants/flowers. It would be nice if you could purchase everything in one line, but lines move fast and it doesn't take that long. Most of the time I'm shopping while I'm in line due to the layout of the store and it makes you feel rushed. They get a 5 stars for quality and freshness and a 1 for the layout of the store... so I'll give them 4 stars. read more

Love this resource! Of all the vegetables I've purchased, Chinese eggplants, zucchini, carrots, baby bok choy, bags of assorted peppers, ginger, asparagus, lemons, and navel oranges were the best! Of the plants available, at the beginning of summer, I'd say their $14 small (not mini) Monstera deliciosa and snake plants were the best. I recommend really looking at the soil, the foliage, and how much rotted/dead leaves you have to remove before picking one to buy. Purchasing their "tropical" plants (I purchased two of them) were the worst -- mainly because they froze (during their transit to Delaware from wherever they came from) and then defrosted from the shock of hot temperatures, so they wilted and died within four days of my purchasing them. read more

Wow! I L-O-V-E this place. Having just returned from China where I didn't eat fruit for over a week, I went into Produce Junction and was in a great space. They have all kinds of fruits and vegetables, esp. the kind typically found at an International food market. I purchased bananas for $2 and the bag contained two bunches, probably 16+. The bag of crisp apples I selected from the various options contained 14 apples. For $2 this was what I needed because these apples are smaller in size. Pears - $2 - for a bag of 10. Two cantaloupe for $2. I wanted to spend $20-30 and take it all home to NC but that is not feasible on a plane ride. Service was friendly and made me feel welcomed. They also carry indoor and outdoor flowers. I visited on a Tuesday and it was busy. Mom tells me weekends are very crowded. Congrats to Dover; can you come to the Charlotte area next? Payment is cash only. When I got up to the table, I had to ask if this was where I pay because I didn't see a register. The guy said yes the I noticed the cash box. No problem for me, I spent less than $12 total. If low prices means no registers then have at it! read more

Love the produce ... the people who were putting out all the fruit and veggies were very nice and helpful with question, request and prices. The place looks clean and well maintained. The prices are a Mistery. Every time I go there I buy the same things at a different price. Also the prices listed aren't always the prices your charged. Let me mention being charged... the people you actually pay for your items are very rude disrespectful and behaved as if they are doing me a favor allowing me to purchase things here. I was treated as if I was dumb. Also any where you shop should give you a receipt listing the things You purchased. Not making up a prices in their heads then handing me a receipt for what I paid but not for what I purchased. Seems suspicious to me. It seems like that don't like their customers. This place use to be great. But lately every time I buy any of the fruit or most of any of the vegetables they turn bad in just a day or they taste real bad to begin with. Grapes have a funny taste. Watermelon is never good. Yesterday their peppers were rotten and they were still trying to sell them. Cucumbers were soft a mushy. Green beans were black. I am done with this place! Great place to buy fresh, long lasting produce. They have containers of spinach and arugula that last forever. Any veggies or fruit I need, they'll have. They have fresh bread and the best peeled garlic in large containers. The garlic probably lasts in the fridge a good month or two without going bad. Always get my flowers here for the week since it's so cheap. It could be inconvenient for some because it's not a one stop shop, but I go to Sam's club every 3-4 weeks and get the dry goods in bulk and it works perfect with me going to Produce Junction weekly. read more

Very clean and organized... I live in Bear, so I won't be frequently visiting. Wish they would open one closer to Bear... that would be lovely. Prices same as any produce junction and quality was good. I also purchased a large plant for $8.50. The big stores would have charged 25.00 for the same plant. I drove all the way from Rehobeth beach for this highly recommended produce Place. The prices are good but most of the produce come from China after spending a little while shopping and picking up stuff I learned that I have to pay for vegetables on one line then get on a completely different line to pay for fruits and then on another line if you happen to buy a plant. I do know how to pick out flowers, you want a tight bud that will blossom. Many of the flowers were starting to open/were open. I have been patronizing Produce Junction in Dover since they opened but I'm afraid I've made my last visit. The last few times the produce hasn't even lasted a week and I've noticed that the vegetables appear to have been frozen or at the very least stored in a very cold area. With deliveries everywhere being so screwy because of covid, I decided to give them one more chance. I went the other day and picked up a few things. When I got home and started unpacking my items I noticed that 2 of the oranges in the bag I had bought where moldy, yes I should have noticed but was in a hurry and didn't catch it, however they should never have been put out. I bought green beans that I was going to cook tonight and I had to throw the whole bag away because so many of them were rotten, I decided to cook the broccoli I had purchased, guess what it was already going bad as well. I made my purchases less then a week ago no way should the produce have gone bad that quickly. read more

Produce Junction is my go to for fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, and plants. I love the variety they offer and the prices can't be beat. But today I was alarmed to see that although all employees were wearing masks, many were covering their mouths only and leaving their noses exposed. This defeats the purpose of the mask. I mentioned this to the assistant manager (whose nose was not covered) and he questioned the effectiveness of masks overall. With COVID-19 rampant in our area, this is a chance that I cannot afford to take since I am exposed to elderly and high risk individuals. I will not be returning until something changes. read more

I love Produce Junction! I've never seen quality vegetables at such low prices before in my life! The have pre bagged produce and you get a lot in Beach bag for $1-3 each. The prices do change though but only by .50 or so. It's always pretty busy but it makes total sense because they are great! You can buy many different kinds of fruits and veggies here as well as plants, flowers and some decor. The flowers are very cheap too compared to Lowes or Walmart. You cannot beat their prices at all. They have three different lines. One for veggies, one for fruit and one for flowers which can be a little annoying but it makes sense to break up what would be a super long line if it was just one. The people who work there are usually pretty nice with good service. They seem to always be stocked up. Produce tastes good. I come here as much as I can read more

I love this place. I am originally from Pa and use to shop at the one in Delaware County on Chichester Ave and drove from Kennett Square, Pa I am so happy they opened one in Dover since I now live in Sussex county De. I love the bulk mushrooms and the eggs and everything they have. I will NEVER buy anything at this store again!!!! The customer service is horrible and they do not know how to speak to their customers with respect. I went in there today to purchase some fruit & veggies on my way in I saw that they had Bamboo Good Luck plants on sale for $3.50 I put 1 in my cart. I paid for my purchases and when I went to leave I stopped right by the front door to double check my receipts to make sure I paid for everything. Then this woman starts yelling about the $3.50 plant. My husband & I both looked at her like she was crazy and said wait, We just spent money in here & Even when I paid her for the plant that I thought was cover at the other counter, she was still talking trash and used the term, You people! I am a proud African American woman I work hard for my money. I have no need or desire to steal. I felt so insulted by this employee my husband and I did not want the plant anymore & demanded our $3.50 back for the plant, she ruined any good luck that might have been on that little plant & TOTALY Ruined my shopping experience at this establishment.
