An occasional DIYer, I rented a power washer yesterday as the first step in refreshing a small deck…read moreat the back of my home. I had never used a power washer before, so I needed advice as to operation and proper use on older deck wood. Mike and his team were enormously helpful from the moment I entered the store, first in choosing the right washer for the job, second in simplifying the steps necessary to complete the job, and finally recommending various stains for the final job. The unit I rented worked perfectly, was clearly well maintained, and had the correct nozzle on it already when I picked it up, which I greatly appreciated. They ran through operating instructions again before I left, and then helped me lift the unit into my vehicle. I finished the job and returned the unit before noon, and without my asking they gave me a discounted half-day rate. I highly recommend Mike and his team to any DIYers who, like me, appreciate thoughtful advice from an experienced team and rental equipment well maintained for home use.

My husband had to drive the chipper back to Grand Rental Station twice to check why it wasn't accepting the tree branches. The employee just shrugged it off and said he guessed the equipment needed to be adjusted. His repair man wasn't there, so there was no resolution to the problem. He still charged us and only returned half our money. Not helpful! What a waste of a day and we still have a large amount of brush to clear for a project that is coming due! It's been years since we first used their services, but this is not the first time we received equipment that wasn't maintained and working properly! Be wary.

I was in a vehicle on the way to do a job when I was met with questions and encouraged to smoke weed with some of the other employees. While in the car. I told the employees I don't smoke cannabis or even vape. The employee insisted and joked about it. And persisted that I sit in the back because he was going to smoke weed. At a rest stop before getting to our location and before he could actually smoke the weed, I reported it to Steven, the manager, who insisted that it is going to become legal soon in the state of Delaware, where recreational cannabis without limitation is legal. But insisted his drivers were not going to smoke weed. They told me they were, so I told him what they said. he spinned a little bit and went around the question and tried to questioned whether i wanted the job or not, some shit out of training day. When I tried to explain to him more that I did not want to ride with the weed smokers, he drove off and left me there with them. I told them I was not getting in, I walked back to the job, picked up my bike, and quit. Don't need a low-standard employer who does not screen their employees for criminal activity or excessive recreational drug use. I'm better than that.
