She always had a no problem attitude. The guys that installed the tent were also more than unbelievable. I will NEVER use any other company in Delaware. These people will get all my bizz. My cart said $24. $6 each and a $6 service fee. I approved a $24 charge, but was actually charged $113. There is a $60 minimum rental fee and a $49 delivery fee and taxes. The cart should have warned me that the rental fee was $60 not $18 and no mention of the delivery fee. I would have made a different decision had I possessed all the facts. They need to change the ordering program to include all this at point of sale.

I rented a set of speakers for a reunion party. No one at the store could tell me how to operate…read morethem when I picked them up. I had to find directions on the web. I tested the one unit at home before the event and it worked. I knew enough of how to connect cables from one unit to the other as directed with a sticker on the back of the speakers. At the party I could only get one of the two speakers to work - I could not get the second speaker to connect to the first one. I had a reunion party to get moving and could not spend all night hoping to get the second unit working or deal with hoping someone in the company would call me. Zoe Rentals should have provided directions and tested the units with me when I was at the store asking for help to ensure the units worked versus no help at all. When I did speak to someone, she had no clue what the problem was and said someone at the store could have helped - WRONG! No one was there to help. Very disappointed. Stick to chairs and tables.

We chose to rent a Budget moving truck from Chesapeake Rent-All due to their prices being the…read morecheapest and that it was close to our house. Upon arriving at their location, I was well taken care of by Barbara and the mechanic did a good job during the walk around inspection of the moving truck, to include explaining a problem with the gas gauge in International Trucks not reading full even though the tank was full of gas. They treated me nice and were very helpful. Since I was moving out of state, I didn't really think I would need anything else from them... Well, as a result of the gas gauge issue, the drop-off location charged me for not topping off the gas in the truck prior to drop-off. I explained to them that the truck was in fact full, but the gauge was faulty. I then called Chesapeake Rent-All and explained the issue to Barbara, who was very understanding. She agreed to speak with the drop-off location on my behalf, and did more than once explaining that the truck's gas gauge will not read that it is full despite the tank being filled. She even had their mechanic explain the issue to the drop-off location, but it didn't matter. The guy still charged me the gas top-off fee despite mine and Barbara's efforts to reason with him. I then called Barbara and she advised me to call Budget's customer service and said she would back my side of the story, which was completely awesome of her. To make a long story short, I called Budget, they called Barbara who verified my story, and I was completely reimbursed for the gas top-off fee that the drop-off location had needlessly charged me. After picking up the moving truck from Chesapeake Rent-All, Barbara didn't have to help me out at all with the issue I was having with the drop-off location. But, she did help me multiple times which resulted in me getting reimbursed for the top-off fee. It is not common these days that employees go out of their way to help a customer with an issue, so as a direct result of Barbara's efforts I completely recommend Chesapeake Rent-All to anyone in the area who would be in the market for their services. Barbara rocks! And the drop-off location....well, you get the idea.

While we were pleased with the rentals and CRA's willingness to accommodate our requests, there were several hiccups along the way: 1. The first difficulty was that the first 2 contracts they mailed to us included pricing errors that would have resulted in overcharging us had we not gone over them with a fine-toothed comb. 2. Secondly, the delivery of our rental on the day of our wedding arrived over 2 hours later than the scheduled time. You can imagine the stress this caused for us trying to prepare our ceremony and reception sites in a timely manner. CRA claimed they had called us the day prior to inform us of the change in timing. In the current age of caller ID, call histories, and voice mail, it dumbfounds me that a company could make that claim and not know that the customer would be aware that the call was never made.
