The next morning we were there when they opened & salesperson, Andy greeted us. When we explained to him the situation & our desire to purchase the last remaining sectional, he very quickly & without hesitation went into his computer & reserved it for us so that no one else could buy it out from under us. In the meantime I had a chance to walk around the store & noticed what a well-arranged display of furniture they had & how reasonable the prices were. But I was most impressed with their salesperson, Andy, who promptly took care of us & remained calm, pleasant & unflustered through the entire transaction while I admit we were not. We purchased it on a Saturday & it was delivered, as promised, on Tuesday morning. The 2 deliverymen whose names I cannot recall were very pleasant, quick & professional at their jobs. And they were very considerate of my house & other furnishings. They set my couch in the exact spot I had designated & hooked up all the electrical wires & cords which operated the 2 recliners & sound system in a short amount of time. We were completely satisfied with the purchase & delivery of our furniture & will certainly go back in the future to purchase more furniture &/or decor as needed.

Staff was nice enough tho, at least at the check out counter. Didn't have any interaction with the few roaming the aisles. The yarn section at this location is also getting extremely downsized. It was stocked, but limited in its options, this in comparison to 8 - 10 years ago. Sales are usually pretty good when they have them on the items we shop, like the yarn. Just a few weeks ago it was 50% off all yarn and 70% off all Christmas items. The other major competitor doesn't do this, the competitor is usually buy one get one at 50% off, this is where we prefer Hobby Lobby.

I walked in and there was already another customer in there who was at the counter talking to an employee. I started to browse and noticed I was not greeted at all by anyone. I let that go because maybe they were truly busy with something. Kept browsing around until said customer and employee were wrapping up their conversation and walking towards the door. Customer leaves and I assumed that was when the employee would greet me or apologize or something! No, she walked right by me, went back to the counter to start gossiping to an employee about the customer she was just helping! My jaw dropped and I got out of there immediately. I was truly ready to splurge there but that left the worst taste in my mouth. I'm not sure if I didn't fit their standards or what but it was by far the worst customer service I've experienced from a small business. Matt and Pete from Christmas Light Pros completed the initial light installation at my home, and I…read morewill acknowledge that the physical installation was done correctly. I paid in full, in cash, and even authorized and paid for additional services while they were onsite, which were completed at that time. Unfortunately, the company's conduct after taking payment has been unacceptable. Pete has since left the company, and Matt has become completely unreachable. Phone calls are not answered. Voicemails are ignored. Text messages go unanswered. This would be frustrating under any circumstances, but it is especially egregious given that I prepaid for both installation and removal of the lights, per the contract. At this point, the lack of communication and failure to honor agreed-upon services leaves only one reasonable conclusion: Christmas Light Pros--specifically Matt--has no intention of fulfilling its contractual obligations once payment has been received. What makes this situation even more disappointing is that I recommended this company to a neighbor based on my initial experience. I am now embarrassed to have done so, as my neighbor is experiencing the exact same issue: no communication and no follow-through after payment. This is not a scheduling issue. This is not a misunderstanding. This is a basic failure of accountability and professionalism. If you are considering Christmas Light Pros, be aware: they may perform the installation, but once they have your money, responsiveness and contract compliance appear to end. I cannot recommend this company under any circumstances.
