This is one is a small one and by the interior it like it has been here for decades without updates. That's the part that makes this location a little sad. Small, dusty feel, and outdated. Staff was nice enough tho, at least at the check out counter. Didn't have any interaction with the few roaming the aisles. The yarn section at this location is also getting extremely downsized. It was stocked, but limited in its options, this in comparison to 8 - 10 years ago. Sales are usually pretty good when they have them on the items we shop, like the yarn. Just a few weeks ago it was 50% off all yarn and 70% off all Christmas items. The other major competitor doesn't do this, the competitor is usually buy one get one at 50% off, this is where we prefer Hobby Lobby. read more

This store is always so much fun to browse. I love the beautiful decor, especially during the holidays. The prices are great and the selection is amazing. The aisles are easy to navigate. Today I had the pleasure of dealing with TJ. She offered the best customer service with a friendly, helpful attitude. I wish I encountered more people like her. This hobby lobby is great and has an awesome selection of everything you need. The sales are awesome and alternate every week and the people who are in the sewing department are very helpful with crafts that involve fabric. Additionally during Christmas they had many young men who will help you carry heavy things to your car. The only critique I would have is that the lines are king but that is just how much people love this store! read more

I am remodeling my house and have spent a lot of time in Hobby Lobby lately. Chris was working the register the first time I came through and was so helpful and nice! When I went back today Regina helped me with an item I wanted 2 of but the only had one and told me about the rain check! Then Amber helped me at the register and I left a picture in the cart and she saved it and called me to tell me she had it. The manager also asked how I was and if I found everything ok! WARNING: FALSE ADVERTISING!! I will be shopping at Michael's from now on. This place has management that doesn't care and has false signs up for merchandise. There is a small section that has all of their "Fall" items, with a sign that says "Remaining FALL merchandise 80% off" (to make room for the Christmas items that are now taking this space), and another sign that even has the price breakdown of the previous cost vs the sale price. So I load my cart with fall items expecting that they would be 80% off and would be as priced on the sheet. NOT. I get to the register and my bill was about $40 more than it should have been. (And no, I didn't buy fabric or whatever else was listed as excluded). When questioned, the cashier tells me that no, some of them are only 50% off, not 80%. I point out the sign and was again told no, I was wrong. The manager was standing there listening to the entire conversation but didn't say a word or even act like he cared, so he resumed flirting with the other cashier next to mine. He then tells another girl to go quick and change the sign. She did, but not before I took pictures of the existing signs that were up when I made my purchases. No apology, just...nothing but cover up. Shame on this store for false advertising and price gouging. Will not return here. Way too many other options in this area. I'm one MAD and disappointed customer...not that it matters to this company. Customer retention is apparently as trivial as a fleck of dirt on a mud path. read more

I have been to this store many times since 1/2020. Note about Masks: This store is close to the county line and it's in Johnson Co., not Tarrant so they have different mask mandates. Tarrant Co. locked down has been more aggressive than Johnson Co. Additionally, when I have been in the store the customers have been wearing masks. This store is well stocked and neatly organized. The employees are very nice and helpful. If you are crafting or decorating, this is a good place to start. God Bless read more

I was shocked to go in Hobby Lobby and see people crowded in there with no mask. The gall of people with no mask coming in close proximity of others as if we are not in the midst of a global pandemic. I saw multiple people with no mask despite the large number of COVID cases in Tarrant county. I left without buying anything because they are not enforcing mask wearing in their store nor care about keeping their customers safe. I took my business elsewhere. read more

Five (5) employees standing at the registers gossiping while one register is open and the line of customers waiting to checkout grows longer. I've been shopping at this location for 4 years and this continues to be a problem. In the back of the store today a man that appeared to be a manager (guessing by his appearance) was talking to several employees. They spoke negatively about him when he went to another area. The employees don't respect their superiors or their customers. Shopping at Hobby Lobby should be fun, and it is...at any other location. read more

Well, the manager at hobby lobby in Burleson, Tx. basically just accused me of stealing. I bought 3 items earlier today and only made it home with 1. 2 were small bags of jump rings totaling $3.98 total. I called and they couldn't find them by the register to just come in and they'd 'look it up for me' and get it taken care of. So, I went in and the manager took my receipt and went to the back of the store. The cashier tells me to go ahead and grab 2 more and anything else I need. After I finished shopping I headed back to the front to get it taken care of. The manager then tells me he checked his cameras and he saw the cashier put them in the bag and me take the bag. Then it took me 6 minutes to leave the store with the bag. Seriously? He timed how long it took me to walk out. I was waiting for my mom to check out. As if that's any of his business anyway. I don't have the jump rings. They didn't end up at home in my bag and are not in my car. He acted like I was lying and trying to get more for free over $4. I shop there ALL THE TIME. My family shops there all the time. I have never stolen a damn thing in my life. I am an honest person and being treated that way is unacceptable. I will be taking the other item i bought back and will happily purchase from Amazon or Joanns. So, moral of the story, hobby lobby has the worst customer service. I'd rank it below Walmart and that's pretty pathetic. Great job alienating a loyal customer over $4. read more

This hobby lobby is the place to go for framing or just having a mat cut. They are very helpful and super customer service. I went in today and had a mat cut of a picture. They were busy in the framing department. But she asked for another associate to help her. And this young lady was great. Cut the mat in the spot no waiting and did it with a smile. I was at their competitor and had to wait and wait til even speak to someone. Never again. Hobby Lobby has my business. Thanks so much for making this easy for me. read more

I've never actually used the phrase let me speak to the manager, I'm not the type. I almost did today. I go to pick up a custom frame job today and nobody is in the frame section so I ring the bell lightly, one time, by the sign "ring bell for service" A minute later nobody's coming, I ring it one more time, I wait another minute maybe two and ring it one more time... I guess it was the third ring that pissed everybody off in the store. The lady in the fabric section yelled "she'll be with you in a minute SIR" dripping with attitude. Then the actual frame person comes walking from the front of the store and says loudly "impatient people! they think if they just keep banging on that bell we can go faster" she said this to the person working at the fabric counter but she was looking dead at me and clearly intended for me to hear.... Jeanine and the other employee exchanged other loud comments about me but I couldn't tell her exactly what they were saying but they were laughing and looking my direction so it was pretty obvious her they were talking about. read more

Honestly, I have never had a good experience with this Hobby Lobby. All of the employees are so rude for no reason. Every time I have ever shopped here I've gotten sneered at, belittled and just plain insulted. For a "Christian" company as they claim to be they should really hire people who are kind, considerate and represent their store well. I'm not saying all their employees are but I've seen quite a few being incredibly lazy when it comes to servicing customers, even the managers! I'd rather make a further trip to Joann's to get better sales deals and great customer service than continuing to put up with this kind of behavior. read more

I wish there was a choice for zero stars. For a store that claims to have strong Christian values the employee's attitudes do not reflect it. I purchased a small 3.99 item yesterday using the Retail me Not coupon for 40% off. I decided to return to get another color of the same item. While on line an employee got in line behind me. She kept mouthing a silent conversation to the cashier. This was distracting the cashier from the large order she was ringing up. I assumed the employee behind me was buying something to eat or drink on her break. When it was my turn the employee behind me whose name was Hannah started berating me that don't I read the small print on the coupon that it can only be used once a day. Hannah's lanyard around her neck stated she was a associate manager. I told her that no I didn't read the small print. I present the coupon and the cashier tells me whether it can be used for my order. I then questioned her as to why she let me wait on line that whole time instead of purposely standing behind me to berate me when it was my turn. The moral Christian thing to do would have been to tell me quietly instead of trying to mouth to the cashier not to accept the coupon. I felt she was judging me by assuming I was trying to beat their system instead of assuming that for the $1.60 I just was not aware of the coupon restrictions. Not only was Hannah showing a poor Christian attitude she was also showing poor moral judgement. Why in the world would you wait 5-10 minutes to publicly berate a customer over a coupon restriction when the kind thing to go would be to quietly bring it to the customers attention as soon as you realize it. Shame on you Hannah for your lack of moral and Christian behavior. You may have succeeded in embarrassing me in front of the other customers but wouldn't it have been better served for me to walk out of Hobby Lobby thinking that you were a very kind individual that quietly handled the situation? It also would have left me with a higher opinion of Hobby Lobby and how their employees are trained. read more

Their employees need an attitude check including the older male manager...we were leaving at closing and not to mention we spent combined $275 which for hobby lobby you can get a lot for so it wasn't like we wasted the stores time by being there till close... The employees didn't even move their restock carts or themselves for that matter as we "tried" to shop around them...as we were leaving it was cold and windy out and instead of being an inconsiderate individuals in society my step dad and I chose to take our carts back to the front of the store which was yards away (what nice people do) and here comes out the cranky manager in a rude voice "We Are Closed!" ...and I proceeded to say I knew and was just bringing the cart back ...that didn't change his attitude and I don't believe he even said thank you...I so badly wanted to turn that cart around and push it back into the parking lot...for being known as a "Christian" ran company, they really could hire kinder more happier employees ...we frequent both the burleson and Hulen stores and after several rude run-ins at this store, we have chosen Hulen will be the only one we visit even though burleson is closer...CHANGE THE STAFF! read more
