What can I say? First off, Lea from customer service was a pleasure to deal with. I was nervous that anything that could go wrong would go wrong and the bus wouldn't show up or would show up late. It was quite the opposite. Our bus driver David showed up early , was friendly and answered questions to any parents who asked. He gave out his cell phone number so we can touch base. He drove our kids to and from prom ,back to my home to change, and then to the city and finally back to my home. The bus was beautiful and they had a blast and all came home safe. Perfect night ! Used them for my daughters sweet 15. Bus was over an hour late. Got there a little after 6. Making my daughter LATE to her own party. Party stared at 630 and she arrived close to 7. Excuse was that the first bus got a flat tire and had to send out a second bus. Ok understandable. When the bus finally arrived at 610 I loaded all the girls onto the bus, got in my car and rushed to the venue as I wanted to get there before the guests. Company called me 10 minutes later saying bus would not leave until I paid them the balance (my fault for not thinking but I was stressed about being late). I hired Party Bus express for my daughters prom. I hired them in a panic after two companies backed out of our date. After we booked, I read the reviews and was SHOCKED! I tried finding another company but our prom was on memorial day weekend and it was just a perfect storm. I was so nervous to say the least, this company has HORRIBLE reviews. Every review said the bus arrived late and sometimes refused to take the passengers. The week of our prom arrives and I called to firm up all the details and hopefully put my fears to rest about punctuality. That didn't happen. Nicole was probably THE nastiest person I've ever had to speak with when conducting business. Just awful, the absolute worst person to be in charge of any customer interface. She should be relegated to a back room where she has zero contact with the outside. My contract was a flat rate for 6hrs. It literally said flat rate with an amount and zero in the hourly line and overtime line. But when I called the day before, she told me there was $250 charge if our driver was even 5 minutes over the 6hr mark ACCORDING TO THE GPS. As in, before he even left the venue to return, if he was going to get to us after midnight it would be a $250 charge and that it had to paid in advance or he couldn't leave. Every time I tried to ask a question to clarify this 11th hour new information, she would very snarkily tell me I was interrupting her or say "are you finished?" When I was simply expressing concern or asking questions to be clear on what the payment procedure was. Its crazy that they demand the balance in cash and there are reviews detailing how they literally would not take the passengers when they tried to pay with a CC even though this is normal biz practice. I did not want to have 24 kids stranded in manhattan because of Nasty Nicole. Thankfully the kids got to and fro safely, and our driver was the CONSUMMATE professional. Mr. Harold was kind, courteous and prompt. He arrived a few minutes early to settle up the bill and discuss logistics--which was the original purpose of my call. Even that was met with derision and sarcasm and non-answers. Nicole is the literal WORST. But Mr. Harold happily answered all of my questions and assured me all would be fine. I told him we had the cash on hand in the event if overages. The arrived home with a few minutes to spare--we live just 30 minutes north of NYC. A fact that added to my confusion with all of her overtime talk and threats to leave 24 kids stranded. I would NEVER EVER use this company again, and would not recommend. No one should feel that much stress when they are patronizing a business. I would've happily ate the deposit if I could have found a last minute booking. Nicole should be fired or least not talk to customers. Ever. If I were rating this biz based only on our driver, I'd give this biz 5 stars. But its not just the driver, customer service counts. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! We rented one of the busses for a bachelorette party, and there were several things wrong from the beginning. The bathroom door didn't have a lock so without someone standing in front of it, the door would swing open when the bus moved. We were having some trouble with the bluetooth, and then after one of our stops, the music system stopped working all together. We brought it up to the company and now they are blaming US for the system malfunctioning. The owner was incredibly rude and refuses to listen to us or give any kind of refund. Our driver even tried to help and he couldn't even get it to work. Also, the busses can not comfortably fit as many people as it's advertised to. Don't waste you're money!! read more

just a heads up this is my first review on Yelp and this just goes to show how upset I am with the experience because I don't want this happening to anyone else. Let's just start with laying out the facts; This is a limousine/party bus service, meaning they are here to serve people, getting them to a certain location and providing the best possible service for a satisfied customer. Most people don't rent anything like this in their daily lives, it's something people do for special occasions and it's supposed to be one of those nights you'll never forget. I'm writing this review because the driver I was met with had the audacity to take advantage of my excitement and hope of having the perfect night to accomplish his understandable, but the greedy goal of getting his tip. As he explained, It's only right to get business over with before the fun and before people become intoxicated, which makes complete sense okay. He also kept stressing that the tip was "At your discretion" as it should be and is in America, but clearly didn't understand what that meant. I had to pay this man tip for a service that hasn't been completed. God forbid the bus had crashed for whatever reason (sure this is an extreme but) OFC I wouldn't give him a tip in that situation, that's why the tip comes after. This party bus was for my birthday, I planned the whole thing alone and only wanted everyone to have a good time, so I really had no intentions of getting crazy with substances and intoxicating myself. I gave him a tip that I thought was fair and told him I would pay him more as the night progressed seeing how things went of course. He accepted my request and the night began. I connect to the music and then as the bus continues onto the highway the music starts breaking. The music system was clearly not good enough for the big shaking bus, I did not see this coming, but we attempted to fix it in SO many ways. On our ride there again he asked for this tip in such a serious and desperate tone and kept bringing up the amount I paid ($1850) and how I'm supposed to tip 20%-30% of that total amount. That was not something I was told by the company and it certainly didn't make sense to me. Once we got to Central park as I got off the bus again he threatened me to have the tip money by the time he came back. Not only that but he started blaming us for smoking on the bus when we weren't, saying "I can smell it!", OBVIOUSLY sir we have weed in here WE'RE NOT SMOKING. It would take a person with 2 brain cells to smoke on a party bus, or look for trouble, which we weren't. Anyways I call him to get us after some time and again on the phone he reminds me of his tip, at this point IM annoyed and scared because I didn't have any more to tip him, but IF he had done a good job in making my night I would have really found any way to tip him. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. As we're going on the bus he starts with another threat of calling the company and canceling the trip??? because we're not paying him a tip that's at the customer's discretion??? tell me that makes sense, it doesn't. Having money in mind, instead of my well-being and making sure I have the night he promised I deserved was his mistake because I didn't :( that man stole half of my experiences with the bus and my friends. I had to worry about getting him the money he kept threatening me to give him. A tip he obviously didn't deserve. Here are my last few words and least favorite part of this experience, we go on the bus to go back and "enjoy" the last few hours we had with it. After about 30 mins of driving, he calls me over and starts pulling the "don't smoke in here" card, saying that he smells it and it's a $250 fine, HAHA :/ no. we were NOT smoking. He calls the company still mad we haven't paid him more and they call me telling me to figure it out with the drive or they would "cancel this whole thing" which made no sense, as we were already on our way back. This is the most unprofessional party bus company. Do not use. They are so disorganized and the staff, both the driver (Rocky) and admin (DD) are incredibly rude. 1. Horribly disorganized.. A) When trying to make the reservation, there was a horrible mix-up where they tried to charge the full balance at first to the credit card instead of the deposit. They were incredibly rude about it and we had to call and email multiple times to get it reversed. In the email we asked if we could pay the remaining in-full day of the event and they said ok. And then a few days before the event, they said that my partner explicitly told them that we would pay in cash day of event and thus could not pay by card. THIS WAS A LIE. We never discussed that on the phone and did not put that in writing. When I tried to contest, DD shot me down and said account has been closed so cash only. B) it was incredibly difficult finalizing the bus itinerary with them. I had to email and call them multiple times to get them to send me the itinerary. They took forever to call me back and they pocket dialed me a couple of times (I think they just operate their company off an iPhone). When DD finally returned my call, she simply said "I've never had to confirm a reservation as many times I've had with you. I've already emailed it to you twice. Check your spam." yeah I checked my spam and I never got the email. Turns out their email was glitching so they had to send it from another representative. When they finally sent the corrected itinerary, IT WAS WRONG! Newsflash, If you're going to yell at a customer for asking for the confirmed itinerary multiple times, at least get the destinations correct. C) I asked about the soda/cup situation and they said "we've never had a complaint about never having enough soda and cups". Well guess what, I would like to complain. On the bus they give you those half soda cans. So for a thirty person bus, you probably have only a handful of small sodas and exactly 30 cups. Not enough! 2. the bus was standard and nice but not clean! Sure the lights were cool and speaker system was good but there was trash in the trash cans already!!! 3. Bus driver was rude, lazy and unprofessional. Do not get Rocky. Despite reading about how their admin was lacking on yelp, I stayed with the company because the reviews said the drivers were fun and good. Rocky was neither fun nor good. He had no interest in introducing himself or talking. AND HE MESSED UP THE ITINERARY and SKIPPED A DESTINATION. We ended up showing up to our final destination 40 minutes early and I was a little confused and thought it was a logistical issue on my part. So I asked Rocky if he could just drive around for 40 minutes instead and he scoffed and said "there is no way I'm going to just going to drive around". So instead we had the bus parked for 40 minutes and he proceeded to just hang outside at a nearby taco truck. It wasn't until after the event, that i realized he had skipped a stop. I don't know if it was deliberate but regardless, 1) that shouldn't haven't happened and 2) if I'm paying for a bus for 3 hours and it's assumed that I'm supposed to tip after, i would like the bus driver to at least drive for the majority of the trip. Anyway tl;dr avoid this company at all costs. Staff and drivers are unprofessional. Buses aren't even cleaned thoroughly. They under-deliver on their promises (eg plenty of soft drinks/cups, driving wherever we want for the 3 hours). There's definitely other bus companies with just buses that have the same features. read more

She decided to curse me out after I booked a bus with them and later inquired on a cheaper quote I was later given by her representative. Her and the dispatcher thought is was respectful to say the worker Ariel will be getting fired for quoting what they say was the wrong price in writing. I would give zero stars if it were possible. This was the most unprofessional company I've ever encountered in my life. We hired them for a corporate event and their bus blew up (had smoke and fumes coming from of the hood - see photo of mechanic on top of vehicle trying to figure out the issue after the fumes subsided and the hood aired out). We had to switch buses mid-trip and we got stuck with a smaller bus with no bathroom (meanwhile we paid specifically for a bus with a bathroom), were over two hours late to our meeting, had the driver demand cash payment and they STILL expected us to pay the full amount for the trip. They also called the police on us when we said we weren't comfortable paying cash or Zelle after a horrific day. The police that arrived actually took our side told us not to pay them with anything other than a credit card for security purposes after he spoke with the dispatch. We paid our deposit with a credit card and asked that the same card be used to pay the balance, but Desiree and Lenny from Party Bus Express instructed the driver not to accept card and only to accept cash or Zelle. Lenny threatened us and told us that we would be arrested and they would be coming after us. They also tried to guilt us into paying cash by saying the driver would now have to pay for the trip on our behalf. What kind of company treats their employees like this? Meanwhile this whole time we told them we are completely okay with them charging the card on file, which is what we told the police officer as well. The officer instructed them to process our payment via credit card and that the driver would have to leave the scene, as the matter was now closed. Lenny also sent us harassing texts and called my colleague nonstop demanding cash payment. We have since spoken with Desiree to try to resolve the issue and it has been nothing but a nightmare. She has been rude, disrespectful and refuses to take any responsibility for the unacceptable and aggressive behavior of herself and her employees. Those that previously wrote that she talks down to the customer are absolutely right as I have now experienced this firsthand. She should not be interfacing with clients if she is going to treat them so poorly. This incident in no way should be the customer's fault, but is in fact the fault of Party Bus Express and it's poor attempt to provide us with a service. This company should be ashamed of themselves and should not be allowed to operate. The Better Business Bureau should look into them immediately as I suspect there is major fraud happening. Wish we had read the numerous warnings ahead of time but I urge anyone reading this to save yourself the aggravation, time and money - DO NOT book with Party Bus Express. There are so many other reputable bus companies out there that know how to treat a customer, how to successfully provide a service and how to take responsibility when things don't go as planned. read more

got the Queen Lea bus for my sisters bachelorette party and from the get-go our bus driver, Andrew (amazing service by the way) and I were having trouble with the music connection. It would not connect via Bluetooth for some reason. We been trying for a good 15 minutes before departing. And had to settle for usb after our first stop. Andrew was not the problem. The bus was. Andrew checked up on us multiple times to make sure we are okay. Secondly the bathroom door did not close. Terrible. So while we were driving the door would swing open. now Here's where the problem with the BUS comes. We get off on our second to last stop and get back on and the music would not play via usb nor Bluetooth. and Andrew could not figure it out too (again not his fault at all and not ours either) now the bus company wants to blame us for the terrible bus they provided us with. Several months ago My niece And I Contacted and came out I'll cheer company to look at which bus we want it we selected One we paid on it for June 16th 2023. On June 15th one day before, my niece was informed that The particular bus that we ordered was now not available and out being serviced. With only one day left and no other choice we were given another and not a good one either. There were technical issues with playing the music on this particular bus which hampered the festivities. We had no opportunity to check the the music system prior as we had with the originally bus ordered. To make matters worse, I was sitting in the front area of the bus just past the curtain, I stood up and started making my way to the bar which was a few steps away and all of a sudden the bus driver hit the brakes. I Flew backwards hitting the bus front windshield and fell backwards head first , feet up down the bus entry stairwell and became wedged. I received no assistance from the driver who seemed fazed and uncaring about what just happened. I am 63 years old now seeking medical attention. Yesterday I was part of one of your bus services. I just want it to be known that your driver was the one of the worst people I've ever had a experience with. He was sleeping in the bus 15 minutes past our departure time for our destination. One of the members of our party accidentally used the bathroom in a improper way and he preceded to pull the bus over multiple times to speak impolitely with our members.
