We booked party bus express for my wedding... biggest mistake ever. We were extremely disappointed with this service, as every single aspect was a miss. Our driver "Ocean" was extremely unprofessional, drove recklessly, arrived late to the one destination we made it to, appeared visibly under some kind of influence, slept on rocks outside of our church, to which we had to search for him, eventually finding him appearing disheveled after our church ceremony. My husband's house is 8 minutes away from my house, yet it took our driver over an hour and a half to arrive, which made the second stop significantly behind schedule. My house was 20 minutes away from our church, yet it took the driver over an hour to make it there as well. Everyone complained that the driver was driving recklessly, kept missing turns, the AC was out in 90° weather, and Ocean had a very bizarre demeanor. After church let out, we were searching for our driver, to which we found him asleep outside, no shirt, no socks, looking disheveled. We did not attempt to leave for our final destination, the venue after the church, until about an hour after our agreed time, which is when our bus broke down. The bus driver did not make an announcement, except for when he told all of us to get out. At this point we called and received no resolution from the company to arrive to our last destination. We, the bride and groom, along with our entire bridal party, had to arrange for our own rides to the venue on our wedding day because of this. Overall, our whole experience was very disappointing, unprofessional, and incomplete. I was able to get my security deposit returned after playing phone tag with the manager. read more

My cousin booked this company for party bus service on her wedding day, and the entire experience was HORRIBLE--not only because of the service that day, but because of the complete lack of accountability and customer service from management afterward. We were thrown off schedule almost immediately because of multiple delays. The bus picked us up an hour late, and we were already the second stop. From there, the driver took over an hour to get us to the church, which should have taken no more than about 30 minutes, even accounting for the alternate route the bus needed to take. During the drive, he was missing turns, swerving, and speeding. At one point, we were genuinely just hoping and praying we would make it to the ceremony safely. On top of that, the AC and music were not working, and it was over 90 degrees outside. That would be unacceptable under any circumstances, but we were a wedding party of 26 people dressed in gowns and tuxedos. Thankfully, we made it to the church safely. After the ceremony, however, the driver was nowhere to be found. We were already behind schedule for photos, everyone was now sweaty and uncomfortable from the heat, and we were standing around trying to figure out where our driver had gone. A few members of our group went looking for him. When they found him, he appeared to be under some kind of influence. He was lying on a rock with his shirt unbuttoned, his socks off and lying next to him, and he looked completely disheveled. One person even asked him directly if he was okay to drive. At that point, several of us were panicking because we already did not feel safe having him behind the wheel. He eventually returned and started the bus, only for it to break down at the church exit. He opened the hood, and after another 10-15 minutes of all of us sitting there in the heat, we were told we would need to find our own rides. At this point, we had 28 people--including the bride and groom--who suddenly had to figure out their own transportation on their wedding day. We were already late for photos, everyone was hot, frustrated, and stressed, and what should have been a smooth and enjoyable part of the wedding day turned into complete chaos. The fact that my cousin is still fighting to get her money back after everything that happened makes the situation even worse. There has been absolutely no accountability for how badly this service failed on one of the most important days of her life. Do not waste your time or money with this company. And based on our experience, I would never get into a vehicle with Ocean as the driver again. read more

Brides!! Watch out!! We got married in June and it was so warm outside we were looking forward to a cool, air conditioned bus. The reality was, the bus had broken AC units and the heat was blasting. So much so, it burnt the bottom of my dress!! SO mortifying. Do not use this company if you are getting married, especially in the summer. All my guests were completely drenched and sick from the heat on the bus. It was hotter on the bus than outside and they did absolutely nothing to help fix the issue. If I could give zero stars, I would. We've used this company for FOUR YEARS. Thousands of dollars spent, loyalty every single time. And how did they thank us? By hitting us with a $250 fee for being FIVE minutes past the grace period. Five. Minutes. Absolutely insane. No flexibility, no humanity, no appreciation for repeat customers. Just a money grab. The way they handled it was cold and unprofessional--no attempt to work with us, no acknowledgment of our history with them. I would give this company zero stars if I could. Our group of seniors booked a party bus for a wedding, and the experience was completely unacceptable. The bus was in terrible condition, and we dealt with a strong, nauseating smell of gasoline inside the cabin for the entire duration of the trip. To make matters worse, we suffered mechanical issues and ended up being left stranded for over two hours on our return trip. I am beyond disappointed and shocked with how I was treated by their "customer service" last night. This was booked for a Pre-Prom. I had agreed to pay cash to the driver when he arrived, With all the confusion of pictures and parents being late, I did not have the cash on me. I immediately tried to call the office and my phone rang and they were calling me. The woman was rude as I tried to explain what was going on and it being hectic and if she could put the balance on my credit card she had on file. I was told no because that was not what we agreed to. Unbeknownst to me, she told the driver to pull over with 13 kids and wait for cash, making them late to their prom. I asked if I could run to the ATM and bring the driver the money at the venue, in good faith, so they wouldn't be late to their prom and again was told no. I wasn't trying to get one over on them. I wanted to pay them and she wasn't having it unless it was cash right now. She did however offer for me to get on the bus with the kids and the bus driver would drive me to the ATM. What?!?! I am not some kind of thief and is she was so worried, she could've put it on my credit card that was on file and been paid immediately. I guess cash doesn't have to be reported..... What started out as a beautiful day ended with such aggravation and disbelief at what transpired, and that was totally wrong and 1000% unnecessary on their part. Isn't a credit card a form of payment? That would have given them their money at that exact moment and they would have been paid in full but that wasn't good enough. Our kids were held hostage until we sorted it out and wound up being a half hour late to their prom! That is UNACCEPTABLE!!! The audacity! The absolute nerve! I have never, ever dealt with worse customer service than I dealt with last night. And, she could give a shit less! They should be ashamed of themselves how they run their business. The party bus was for "15" and we had 13 kids literally sitting on each other. And, they are not big kids, not one of them! They were the cheapest price we received and I guess it is true, you get what you pay for. That was clearly proven last night. Shame on you! P.S. Their website says they accept credit cards! I booked them for my 45th birthday. The bus arrived on time. The driver demanded his tip right away. Then when we went to depart, the bus broke down. We had to wait 3 hours for a new bus to arrive, and by that time my party was nearly over. I called and emailed to get a partial refund but could not get anyone to respond. Read More BELOW We hired a party bus (WHICH WAS DEFINITELY A NIGHTMARE BUS TO SAY THE LEAST) to take 22 people from Long Island to a wedding in New Jersey. From the first pickup, there were problems. The driver was asked to turn on the air conditioning because it was STIFFLING on the bus, but he said he needed to do it from the outside and would handle it at the next stop. Instead, he stopped, opened the escape hatch and blasted heat, leaving some people freezing and others sweating. When we asked if he could close the hatch and adjust the climate control, he said he would have to pull off the route, which we decided against to avoid being late for the wedding. Because the escape hatch was opened, we were freezing, and our hair--which we all spent money to get done--was messed up from the air blowing all over the place. Before leaving the second stop, the driver questioned our destination, even though it was clearly listed in the contract. This took about 10 minutes or so for him to figure out! The bus itself had multiple deficiencies: the air conditioning didn't work, the bathroom had no running water and only a tiny amount of toilet paper for 22 people, and neither the music nor the TVs worked. On the way back, using a COMMERCIAL GPS it showed that it would take two hours to return to the first stop. The driver did not take an alternate route to avoid construction, which delayed us. After we went over the expected 12-hour trip, the driver said we would receive a call demanding $250 cash or the office wouldn't allow us to continue. I saw a missed call from the company, and when I answered, the caller threatened us, saying we had to pay immediately otherwise he would drop us OFF AT A RANDOM LOCATION. I felt extremely threatened by this! When we finally reached the first drop-off at 3:15 a.m., we were unsure if the second drop-off could be reached by 3:30 a.m., and we were afraid of incurring another $250 charge. Everyone got off the bus, and my brother gave the driver a tip, although not the full 20% we had planned. The driver then offered to take us to the second stop. Overall, the trip was stressful, uncomfortable, and poorly managed. read more

I booked a party bus for a bachelorette party, and while everything seemed fine initially, the experience turned into a major disappointment. Six days before the event, I was informed that the wineries I had carefully selected wouldn't allow the party bus on their premises. Although inconvenient, we were able to pivot and choose alternative locations. On the day of the event, the problems really began. The driver showed up at the wrong address and then blamed me for the mix-up, claiming he had called when he had only sent a text. He also asked for his tip upfront, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Throughout the day, he continuously disrupted the experience. He stopped the bus on the side of the road multiple times to falsely accuse guests of vaping, despite there being no evidence. He stopped multiple times, took wrong turns despite us tracking the route on a map, which delayed our schedule by at least 30 minutes. After arriving at the first location, he started pressuring us about the timing and reassured us that we were still on track. At the second location, even though I had confirmed we had enough time, I received a text at 5:16 PM stating we needed to be back on the bus by 5:15 PM to avoid overtime fees. I quickly gathered everyone, but we were already being charged. The driver demanded $250 in cash for overtime and wouldn't continue driving until it was paid. I had to take 20 minutes out of the event to speak with the company on the phone and explain the situation. The condition of the bus itself was unacceptable. Ripped cushions held together with duct tape, no running water, blown-out speakers, and frequent interruptions due to the driver's incessant calls and accusations, which kept cutting off the music. This experience was frustrating, stressful, and far below expectations. I would absolutely never book with this company again. Edit: To address response. You can't text someone and tell them to be on the bus a minute before said text to avoid overtime. There was no "complimentary" upgrade. We paid $700 for a bigger bus just for the conditions to be as shown in the photos. Second edit: The company texted me one minute after the time we should've been on the bus which is evident in the screenshot so no amount of "1 hour and however many minutes" changes that fact. I should've been earned an hour before. We would've made good timing had the driver not stopped and taken the routes that were proposed. The constant affirmation of "you will be able to do your planned schedule in good timing" was a lie. The company originally told me the bus would be $2500 for a bigger bus over the phone. Then at the last minute seeing the distress they caused 6 days prior to the event, they settled with a $700 upgrade cost, so once again it was not a free upgrade, we paid. Update 7/25 After speaking with the company following previous fiasco with the party bus, and having multiple email exchanges and conversations We decided to give the company another chance. We received the quote, I called to book, had emails exchanges to revise the contract, called to correct as the credit card and reservation ended up being in different names. Had a lovely conversation and a thanks for agreeing to give the company another try. The representative said that she will issue a refund and then rebook with the correct card, a week passes by no contact. When I called back, the person I spoke with said that she has no recollection of having the discussion with me, and that the refund was issued and it seems that I had a bad experience with them in the past. So I reminded it the representative that we had multiple conversations and that we were willing to give the company another try since our issues were addressed with the dispatcher and the driver. The driver arrived for an 830 departure but they did not leave because he demanded a 20 percent tip upfront or would not leave. On the return He backed out of the EZ pass lane 3 times. He then told 20 24 year olds that if that dispatch told him if they dont pay $250 more because they were going to be late. he pulled over on the side of a highway while he spoke to dispatch about not charging them. I believe if you hold somebody on demand money that is considered kidnapping not to mention terrifying at 1:30 in the morning. They told her to check the contract she found that they had a 15 minute grace. They proceeded to drive home after that was supposed to be a birthday celebration that was tainted by terrible service and bullying for more money. read more

The driver had no idea where he was going and kept trying to get in different roads - he didn't know what roads accepted a vehicle of his size. It ruined my party. They required all the cash upfront and I paid ahead to take my friends back for the return trip. I rented the party bus Princess Grace 12 passenger bus for a birthday trip to a vineyard. Great experience from start to finish. Lea was very helpful. She provided a quote and reviewed the reservation with me. The day of the event, the driver Lillian arrived early and was very friendly and accommodating to me and my 6 guests. I will say the interior of the bus was nice and very clean. Water, soda and ice were provided. If I had one issue it would be the bus would not fit the 12 adult passengers I had invited...luckily I had only 7 attend...but had all my 12 guests attended, this bus would not have worked. My Husband and I rented a Party bus to go to a concert in NYC so we didn't have to worry about the drive. From the time the bus arrived to the time we got dropped off at home, we had such a great time! I was surprised at how great the sound system was. We brought our own drinks drinks figuring there wouldn't be enough already on the bus, but to my surprise, they had plenty of soda & water already on the bus. I am highly disappointed with the service my guest and I experienced Saturday evening! I had dinner reservations for a large party at 7pm, the bus was scheduled to arrive for pick up at 5:30pm unfortunately the bus did not arrive until about 7pm and to make matters worse I wasn't even notified, I had to contact dispatch/customer service and find out why the bus hadn't shown up, the woman I spoke to wasn't very helpful! About half way through our trip which was only supposed to be a 55 minute ride, we ended up on the side of the road so the driver could figure out how to defrost the windows, because he could no longer see the road, the 55 minute ride turned into about a hour and a half ride causing me to be extremely late to a planned 65th birthday celebration for my mother and her guests. We were about ten minutes away from the restaurant when things completely went downhill and the bus broke down, so myself as well as my disabled mother and her guests had to walk in the rain and cold to the restaurant, I again contacted dispatch who said they would send another bus to get us back home. Dispatch did indeed have another bus waiting for us outside the restaurant, we all loaded and the driver informed us that there was no A.C, we also had to sit on laps and stand up because the bus was smaller than the 45 passenger bus I paid for, my brother spent the entire ride home standing up wiping the front windshield since the bus driver had no A.C so he was unable to see properly and unable to defrost the windows. Overall, this was a complete disaster, disappointment, and waste of money! The transportation company from HELL! I absolutely would NOT recommend their services to anyone and would advise they have all their buses serviced by a proper mechanic asap and ensure they hire bus drivers who have experience driving and fully operating the bus.
