I almost cried when the original Party Closed after the start of the pandemic and then....I heard it was reopening and I literally had a countdown on my phone for opening day! The new management is AWESOME!! The inside is so clean, and so much easier to navigate! The coolers are infinitely brighter and so much better organized. The entire team was quick to greet me, and showed me their layout and was incredibly patient as I rolled through cherry picking my treasures. The owner was right there the whole time, asking what I might want to see in the future, and letting me know what they still had coming. I am so impressed with their selection of hard to find beers, including one of my favorites, the Einstok Icelandic white which I fell in love with in Montreal but have been struggling to find here consistently. They were happy to chat with me and offer guidance and suggestions! They gave me some awesome swag and I left feeling like I had made 3 new friends who I will definitely be spending my Friday afternoons with on my drive home! They have a completely touchless payment system, they are happy to load your vehicle up, and have some snacks on hand too! I really hope they get the support of the community and are here to stay for many more years to come!

This place is sooo cool!! I'm in town on important family matters and I was very amused and impressed with this establishment! And the customer service was great! Loved the concept wish they had one in my hometown!

You walk in and immediately know you are not in some polished Instagram cocktail lounge. It is loud, a little gritty, and full of people who are clearly there to have a good time and not pretend otherwise. The beer is cold, the Lone Star flows like Texas water, and the vibe is pure old school Austin. And yes, the legendary bathroom situation deserves its own paragraph. The men's room features a giant ice filled trough for a urinal, which feels like something out of a 1970s roadside saloon documentary. Somehow it is both ridiculous and perfectly on brand. It actually becomes a conversation starter because you walk out laughing and immediately tell your friends they have to see it and go pee. The crowd was friendly, the bartenders were quick with the beers, and nobody was taking themselves too seriously. I ended up staying longer than planned, drinking Lone Stars and talking to random people like we had known each other for years. If you want craft cocktails served with a rosemary sprig this is not your place. If you want a hilarious, slightly chaotic, authentically divey night in Austin with cheap beer and great stories, Dirty Bill's absolutely delivers. Five stars and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Draught House is German inspired with a nice, big beer garden and the way the inside looks it seems like you may have walked right into a German restaurant or drinking establishment with all of the dark wood and lighting. I believe you can get food from a food truck , possibly things like sausages which I'm sure are good but we brought in some food from a grocery store as we wanted something lighter and more vegetable forward. Their beer selection here is quite large and choices are pretty numerous. I decided to go with an Amber Ale it was very good! The name of it was called Cold Comfort. Flavor features to enjoy with this particular beer are malty, sweet, caramel and breadiness. The beer had a nice carbonation level too! All the flavors blended and melded together quite nicely which was nice. They certainly do know how to make beer and it was nice to get a beer type that I don't get as often. Lots and lots of other intriguing beer options aside from the one I tried here!

And BTW you can only order online with a qr code (this is always a bad customer experience imo). And just like this, the customer service isn't up to part. The fish is fantastic with a crispy hand batter. The fries were the absolute worst. Not crispy and tasted like I took some non name brand fries and threw them in an air fryer. And for $13 I expect more than 4 oz of fish. Sure there were plentiful fries but when they're that bad we both wasted money. But coming back to the service, with 3 empty bottles of malt vinegar and an empty ketchup dispenser and one guy working, of course I'm going to rate the service as bad. But let's face it, we come for the BEER!!

Unfortunately, our Saturday experience could not have been more different. We arrived about an hour before closing on Saturday and were told that we would need to vacate by midnight, which we completely understood and had no issue with. We were happy to order promptly and make sure we were out on time. Unfortunately, the tone and attitude of the staff made our entire party extremely uncomfortable. Several people even refrained from ordering because of how unwelcome we felt. We were repeatedly reminded, in an unnecessarily rude manner, that we needed to leave--even while we still had approximately 20 minutes remaining before closing. To make matters worse, several of our food items were forgotten. Before closing, we were told that the staff had forgotten them and would not be fulfilling those orders. My soup was forgotten as well and was eventually handed to me in a tiny to-go cup with no utensils. Wine pours were being taken away while we were still finishing them, despite still having time before closing. At one point, we were being told to leave while we were already actively gathering our things and heading out. We completely understand that restaurants have strict closing times, and we were more than willing to respect that. What was disappointing was the level of annoyance, dismissiveness, and rudeness we experienced throughout the evening. We had been happy to return, especially after such a great experience the night before. We tipped well, had a substantial tab on Friday, and genuinely wanted to support the restaurant. Unfortunately, based on how our party was treated on Saturday, we're now unsure whether we'll be returning. It's disappointing to have gone from raving about this place after our first visit to feeling so unwelcome the very next night.

Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't very busy, so we were expecting a smooth experience. We ordered the bottomless mimosas, the chili crispy chicken eggs Benedict, and the chicken and waffles. The standout dish was definitely the chili crispy chicken eggs Benedict. It was flavorful, very filling, and easily my favorite thing I ordered. I would order it again if ever come back. The bottomless mimosas came pre-made in a pitcher, which was convenient, but they tasted more like juice than champagne. If you're expecting a traditional mimosa, you may be disappointed. Unfortunately, the chicken and waffles were our least favorite dish. The chicken batter was very thick, little to no seasonings and had a yeasty flavor, and the waffles were much sweeter and cakey than expected. The flavors didn't balance well, and my boyfriend wasn't able to finish even a third of his meal. Service started off well and our waitress was friendly, but as brunch went on we found ourselves having to flag her down multiple times for refills and assistance. Since the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, this was surprising. The biggest downside was the value. For the prices being charged, we expected a higher quality dining experience. While the eggs Benedict were decent, the rest of the food and service didn't quite justify the cost. The ambiance was also lacking. For a brunch spot, especially one we chose for a birthday celebration, the atmosphere felt pretty flat and didn't add much to the overall experience. Overall, there were some highlights, especially the eggs Benedict, but there were enough misses that we left feeling the experience was average rather than memorable for a birthday celebration.
