The employee there recommended a comparable beer from Bend, Oregon and let us have a bottle of it to sample. It was super delicious. This place in convenient, and the beer is always super cold. Last weekend 10/14 I had a housewarming party for my daughter and son in law. I ordered a keg of Dos XX and the guys who delivered it to the house were great! they gave me instructions to let it sit for 2 to 3 hours before serving and iced it down for me they said 2 to 3 pumps per cup. As the evening went on the keg was full of foam. I kept checking throughout the night and our guests informed me that it took 10 to 15 mins to fill up one cup of beer. I called on 10/16 and spoke to Steve and he told me that we pumped to much and that's why it was foaming! He told me he would check the keg when it was returned. On 10/17 they picked it up at 7pm. Still have not heard back and today is 10/19. The keg wasn't even half way gone! wasted BEER! Who does that! read more

Its the Party Barn! I dont live far away so I usually roll up on my bike, take a look around and pedal away with a sweet six pack of good beer for a good price. Their deals really are great and you can buy singles at a sixth of the price of the pack, they aren't prorated at 2 dollars or anything. You aren't getting charged for the convince they are offering, fantastic place. Sometimes the employees can be a bit gruff but its usually not a big deal, anyways check it out next time you need beer fast. read more

I purchased a keg from Party Barn in March and returned the keg, tap and tub within 2 days as per their return policy. This week, over a month after returning the keg, I was charged $40 without any notice. I had to call about 10 times and send an email before I finally got a reply. I'm certain they thought they could get away with charging me $40 a month after doing business with them without me noticing. If you choose to purchase a keg here, be aware of your bank statements in the following weeks. read more

It would seem like a drive thru beer barn located just north of a party university would be a touristy rip-off. This is not the case Party Barn is a down to earth establishment that does the job simple and correct. The prices are all comparable to HEB and the beer is even colder. So you're not even paying a premium for the convenience of having beer handed to you through your car window. It's also a fine place to walk in if you want to browse the excellent beer selection. Also for kegs, this is the only place in town where when I buy a keg I don't ask if my tap is clean because you don't have to worry about that here. You can roll in and get a keg whenever they are open or if you're throwing a party reservations are super easy to make and cancel so you can be sure to get the right kind of beer on a busy weekend. I've never needed a delivery, but from what I hear the convenience of that is great, and as long as your order is big enough you can order cans and bottles of beer, wine and soda too. The party barn has never done me wrong and this local business deserves our patronage because it adds character to our city. Besides, if you're reading this right now, you probably need beer anyways. You won't be disappointed if you go 10 or 15 minutes out of your way to get some beer from a real Texas business. read more

If you want a keg of cheap, light beer. You can get that anywhere. But if you want a keg of something that actually tastes good, this is the place for you. I have picked up many kegs for my kegerator from Party Barn, and 95% of the time they have what I want, in the keg size I want, already in stock When I have a special request for a seasonal of some kind, Steve can get it for you within two days. And I drive all the way from cedar park to get my kegs from here. That, in itself alone, speaks volumes about this place. read more

What could be better than a drive thru beer shop? A drive thru beer shop that also has KEGS! I received a kegerator for my birthday last year and started getting my beer kegs from these guys, on the recommendation of my friend Terri. Prices are good and service is awesome. The manager (and I believe owner) Steve, knows beer and beer equipment. When I was setting my kegerator up and loading my first 5 gal. keg of Fat Tire, he helped me troubleshoot an issue over the phone. Now that I have it dialed in, I just swap out kegs when empty and drive on, After buying several pony kegs (tall and skinny 5 gal containers as opposed to the short, squatty ones we had as kids) I finally took the plunge and invested in a full keg of Newcastle. Well, I call it an investment even though the dividends wind up splashed against the back of a porcelain bowl. I needed to get a European coupler (no, not a Belgian porn star) to hook it together as the US one wasn't metric. With that purchased (thanks Austin Home Brew) I installed the 15 gal, RF ID tagged (wtf?) mini Cylon in my beer dispenser and proceeded to lose the rest of Saturday afternoon. Thanks to Steve B. for the six Newkie pint glasses and the tap handle. I now have my own pub in the corner of my great room. read more

Steve is a child. I rented trash cans from party barn and returned them with mud on them. Steve called my employee that dropped them off and cursed him out on a voicemail. When I called him to discuss the situation, explaining that they were in the rain and mud (and they are trash cans...) he told me to "stop being a f**king child." This guy is either drunk, a terrible human being, or both. Either way. Watch out for steve and his smooth talking infantile aggression issues. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Keg arrived 3 hours late for my party, a bag of ice was missing, and when looking over the invoice was NEVER told they were charging $60 for delivery and the price was different than what was listed on the website. Terrible. Buyer beware. read more

If I could give them Zero stars I would. We paid a lot of money for this keg and when they dropped it off and gave us instructions.. we thought it would be easy.. Let the beer chill for 45 minutes to an hour and then 2 to 3 pumps per cup. Obviously not. We let the beer chill for over an hour and a half and told guests what we were told.. Foam was still coming out of the keg 5 hours later. Steve, was and has been been completely rude to my mother (who ordered the keg) said "you must of pumped the keg too many times" we will take our business elsewhere next time. read more

I really enjoyed my experience with Party Barn. I called a few weeks in advance to ask if they had a keg of a local beer for my graduation because I could not find any other places that sold it. They only had one left and they saved it for me even though they could've told me to buy it immediately or be SOL. Every time I spoke on the phone with their staff and every time I go back in person, they are extremely friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place. read more

My husband and I used Party Barn for the alcohol at our wedding in August of 2015. Steve made everything so easy. He assisted me in ordering the correct amount of wine and beer for the number of guests I was hosting, explained exactly how everything would work as far as drop of the day of, and even rented me extra buckets to store the non alcoholic beverages I was purchasing separately. The pricing was very fair and we were able to chose from a vast selection of beer for the kegs, which was important as we wanted good local brews for our out of town guests.
