About 2 months later I did notice a small spot in the garage, so I took my truck to D & M for an assessment. They did the repair for a fraction of what con-artist-Modern Toyota was going to charge. I got my truck back the same day...D & M will get all my business going forward for both my vehicles. I only have good things to say about these guys and highly recommend. As a side note: beware of car dealerships when going in for anything simple because the repair advisors are usually on commission. I once took my truck to Vann York for an oil change and they said that I needed to have my control arms and steering rack replaced for $2000+ which I declined. So I got two opinions from independent repair shops (of which D&M was one), and was told control arms and rack were fine. Avoid car dealerships for any repairs as they see unsuspecting people to prey on. That said, D & M saved me lots of money!!

I explained that I was from Florida, visiting for work. I booked a rental, and relied on locals to help me during all of this. What blew my mind, a call from Lindsay again just before 5pm. Because I'm not a local, he pushed my car through faster & the lead mechanic, Chance, was staying late to narrow down the problem. Code was showing something wrong with fuel getting to the motor. 20 minutes later... he called again! I had just had my car serviced before driving Hundreds of miles & one of the air filters wasn't clicked in all the way! A simple stupid fix! I was relieved. Lindsay also said they had to fix a couple of recalls, but that my car should be ready by 10am the next morning! Stunned, relieved, but i was still holding my breath until the next morning - 9am, again earlier than he quoted- my car was ready! Also was told I'd get a free detail since my car was purchased at the end of the detail shops day and was rushed Thru and had dirt on the back of the car and side pillar post was sticky with residue. Also nothing yet. Went in for service for the first time, that was subpar at best. Appointment was set and an hour after they still hadn't pulled my car in. I asked how much longer and then they pull it in for service and the tech gets grease in my car. May not be bad to some, but it's a new car and it's mine to get dirty. They did apologize and said it wouldn't happen again as for taking so long.
